I agree that the church board should be arrested, and if anyone dies as a result of this gathering, the board should be charged with murder, in just the same way that one would be charged for intentionally spreading HIV. The pastor is just a hired lackey.

This is all about $$$ and spotlight for the Pastor.

It truly defies the teachings of Jesus

The size of the crowd was huge, and left many wondering why so many Londoners would converge on a single, albeit large, shopping venue. But the apparently crowded nature of the line also shocked the eye, with hundreds seemingly mere inches from the person before them.

When we went to look ourselves, we saw something quite different.

This photo of a Costco lineup sparked viral frustration in London. Did it show the full story?

Now I had a few more looks at this and the one that looked crowded I counted about 14 people between the two lampposts. Some are clearly together in a group. Lampposts are a minimum of 29 metres apart so divide by 14 then on average they are at least 2 metres apart. Camera never lies so they say.

I watched this video yesterday discussing underlying conditions, complications and blood clots that can occur while being on a ventilator. Also, how ventilator pressure being too strong causing lung injuries.

Dr. Cameron Kyle Seidel ER physician, Maimonides Medical Center, NY

"COVID positive patients need oxygen, they do not need pressure. They will need ventilators, but they must be programmed differently. I've talked to doctors all around the country and it is becoming increasingly clear, that the pressure we are providing may be hurting their lungs"

Pulmonologist Dr. Sam Parnia, MD, PhD at NYU Langone Health

"Dr. Parnia, what is your response to to the theory that the typical ways we use ventilators for pneumonia are doing more harm than good for COVID patients?"

" I think what we are realizing now, having taken care of hundreds of patients, this is really a unique disease, something we have never seen before. It's not the same as the the usual pneumonia, or other lung diseases we've taken care of. Therefore the ventilator and in fact all of their management has to be adjusted on a per patient basis, rather than just using traditional protocols that were developed for other conditions so-called ARDS, or other situations.

"Is this a lung disease causing blood problems, or is it a blood disease causing lung problems? How different is COVID-19 from what we have seen before?"

"COVID is affecting multiple organs, it's a really bizarre disease, systematic disease that happens to involve the lungs and other organs, particularly the kidneys. The blood is becoming thick and blood clotting is happening." (it continues in video. )

Discussed in video: dialysis machines, carbon monoxide poisoning, organ complications, Governor Cuomo and mortality rates

The video is 8 minutes. Dr. Sam Parnia is at the 2:40 mark

And this is why we need to stay home for now. The more of us that can avoid getting it right away, the better. Even a month from now they will have improved treatment, such as knowing better how to use ventilators. More of us will have a better chance. I pray my governor stays strong and does the right thing on stay at home orders no matter what the feds push.

Well, at the very least, the hair and nail salons will be booked solid for months!

No thank you. This entire pandemic has made me think about what is "essential" and what is "not essential". And how much time and money I spent on "non essential" items.

Plus, here in Montana, Bozeman did not shut down salons. And they are currently the leader in COVID19 cases in Montana.

The salons in Bozeman, Montana are closed now.

This post got me curious about the statistics in Montana. This is what came up on google. That can't be correct, can it? Only 354 totol cases and 6 deaths?!

eta: This is from today, so nearly right -- 377 cases and the number of deaths is still 6!

Montana COVID-19 cases at 377, 2 new cases in Yellowstone County

And it’s too important to fail. Better not see cruise lines get help and our dear old postal service not.
Amen. My mail lady and I have gotten to know each other quite well over the years. I’m usually playing in my front garden when she comes by and we chat. I usually have a cool bottle of water for her in the summer months. She came by a couple of weeks ago, with her gloves, social distancing and smiles in order. She’s a younger mother with kids. Her phone went off while talking. All of a sudden I heard, “well that little *, I’m gonna call his grandpa”. I was a bit taken aback as she doesn’t talk like this. She explained she had the Ring system and the neighborhood kid was trying to pull her unlocked door open with her kids inside with strict orders. Last week, along with our mail, there was a folded note asking if there was anything she could bring us or help with - that all I had to do was leave a note in the mailbox - that all the carriers would watch for it in case it was her day off.

"Philadelphia police drag man without mask off public bus, prompting policy change - ABC News" Philadelphia police drag man without mask off public bus, prompting policy change

Update on the Philadelphia story.

"The transit authority in Philadelphia is now changing its policy for commuters wearing masks after social video emerged of a rider being dragged off a public bus by police on Friday.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, or SEPTA, issued a policy earlier this week saying all riders must wear facial coverings as of Thursday in order to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. In the video, the man, who is not wearing a mask or face covering, is seen being physically carried off the bus by at least four Philadelphia Police Department officers, with half a dozen or more officers outside the bus looking on."

Coronavirus live updates: U.S. now leads world in deaths, passes 20,000 mark
''April 11, 2020, 7:51 PM EDT
The U.S. has now passed the 20,000 mark in the number of coronavirus deaths and leads the world in this grim tally, surpassing Italy for the first time.

The virus has killed 20,029 people in the United States, just above the number in Italy, according to NBC News' figures.

Worldwide, the death toll is more than 107,000, and the number of confirmed cases has surpassed 1.7 million, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top infectious disease expert in the U.S., has warned that it is too early to relax coronavirus restrictions.

"Now is not time to back off," Fauci said Friday,

Meanwhile, current and former U.S. officials have told NBC News that American spy agencies collected raw intelligence hinting at a public health crisis in Wuhan, China, in November, but the information was not understood as the first warning signs of an impending global pandemic.''

''The intelligence came in the form of communications intercepts and overhead images showing increased activity at health facilities
, the officials said. The intelligence was distributed to some federal public health officials in the form of a "situation report" in late November, a former official briefed on the matter said. But there was no assessment that a lethal global outbreak was brewing at that time, a defense official said.''

But if EVERYONE is wearing them, then they will be preventing others from catching anything from them.

When I went out last week briefly, wearing my baseball cap, protective glasses, surgical mask and scarf and gloves, I went into a pharmacy. EVERYONE else had masks or bandanas on. The few customers inside and the pharmacist and the clerk.

So my mask was protecting me because everyone else was masked as well. And I wore gloves, never touched my face, and threw the gloves out when I got to my car.

I left the package in the back seat for 2 days.
I'd like to have seen a pic of that ;). But I hear you. I have a box of regular masks left over from earlier this year when my daughter bought them while visiting my grandson - she had a cold but didn't want him to catch it. She left the box with me and they have come in handy.

I went to the food coop a couple days back and wore one. And yes, pretty much everyone in the store had some sort of mask on. I mainly wore it because psychologically I believe it makes other more comfortable and hopefully it helps a little.

We haven't had any cases in town yet but we're a bit isolated anyway. People here are doing a great job of keeping their distance from others, not touching their faces and using wipes or sprays.

Almost 200,000 new cases in 4 days in the US. I'm bewildered that anyone is talking about relaxing measures at this time.

Coronavirus Update (Live): 1,777,892 Cases and 108,742 Deaths from COVID-19 Virus Pandemic - Worldometer

By the time the relaxed measures take place, the USA will have peaked. We’ll be on the down side. And ready to get after it. If we waited, we’d be behind. It’s the lag time to get everyone to agree on a date to implement the change that you forgot to include in your bewilderment.
