everytime you guys get the willies about the end result of this trial - go to one of the orlando news sites and start reading from the very beginning....pm me if you need a specific link, I will find it for you....literally the beginning, the 911 calls, the 31 days, the interviews, read the written statements, listen to the first phone call home....

your doubts will disappear. have faith in a jury made of of human beings like us. they will hear what we've heard and they will think the things we've thought and they will feel the things we've felt. whomever that jury will be needs all of our wellwishes and strength. unlike us, they will get it all at once and from dedicated people fighting for caylee (ashton and drane burdick) they will have to see the autopsy photos! they will not fail caylee!

You know, I think as the trial opens and the prosecution lays out its arguments there will be a lot of us sick, sick in heart and in body. Even though we have covered this...talked about pizza, joked about squirrels, got angry at lies and deceit...when it comes down to having the whole thing laid out like LDB and JA are going to do...it is going to be hard.

There will be tears and anger and we will need this forum to be able to help each other cope.

If anyone would like, Mystic suggested we have a "mediation room" for now and through out the trial and you might like to post there. It is all things calming, loving, supporting, positive, hopeful...uplifting.

I agree.First time posting.Have lurked on here since Scott Peterson.Love this forum and admit to being addicted to this case.Am fortunate that my work schedule is going to allow me to see a lot of the trial(hopefully that doesn't change!!)Looking forward to Caylee finally getting justice and Casey being led out of the courtroom in handcuffs after a guilty verdict.

I think part of my apprehension is due to the O.J. trial...at the time I vowed never to get involved with another case, but that didn't happen. And now, with him in jail...there is a tiny bit of justice, plus look at him now, no one wants anything to do with him, he's shunned, no longer a super star just a common criminal . He deserved the DP IMO, but in a way he's serving a life sentence. He'll never be in the spot lite again unless it's due to criminal behavior.
Yesterday I was pondering ICA and realized something, if she walks, like O.J., just where will she go...who would hire her, who would want a relationship with her? IMO her sentence would be confined at home with CA..under her rule. I got a little bit of happiness with that thought and decided am not going to stress this...cause if she doesn't 'pay for her deed' in this life, she surely will in the next.
Just my thoughts to soothe the stress, worries and 'what if's' ...

little lulu- im RIGHT there w/ you. oj walked on nicole simpson murder trial. i fear the same thing could happen w/ orlandos oj/ aka ica... sure oj got busted for something else( robbery) but IMO, he was free too long, he should have been behind bars all along.. i pray justice for caylee will be carried out,and fufilled, THIS TRIAL COMING UP< THIS LIFETIME!!!! forget her getting hers/karma in the next life!
i fear that ica could find a decent life IF she is aquitted, not quilty, what ever. she is still young,some may find her attractive, could lose the jailhouse weight gain,or even change up her appearance(she seems to be like a style chamelon,with the different hair cuts ive seen pics of, and she could definately color it too, possibly relocate somewhere, where not very many people are aware of the case, and she could have her beautiful life, SCOTT FREE!

No way is Casey Anthony on the same playing field as OJ Simpson.:snooty: I've said this often recently, and I'll say it again: OJ walked for many reasons- the biggest being a star-struck jury who refused to convict in downtown L.A., with a high percentage of blacks, who felt the race card was played. The civil trial was held in Santa Monica, where the crime was committed, and this time the jury was his rich peers- the outcome was very different! Also prosecutor Christopher Darden tried to have a Perry Mason moment and it colossally backfired when he had OJ try on the glove in open court. The glove had shrunk from being soaked with so much blood, and OJ mugged trying to pull it on.
Casey doesn't have a high-priced defense team such as this. She's just a common garden-variety sociopath like Scott Peterson, who now resides on Death Row.

Home Depot does sell duct tape, along with cleaning supplies, trash bags, pavers, play sand, shovels, pool chemicals, lawn fertilizer, etc. Hmmm, wonder what she would want there :waitasec:

I have a good feeling that things are going to come together and start to make sense as soon as the trial starts and we get to see some of the info we have't been privy to yet. Go Team Caylee!

Glad you decided to join in. I agree with you... this is a great forum. I'm also addicted to this case. Little Caylee was such a sweet little girl and she deserves justice.

I just hope the DT doesn't muck up and drag out jury selection. They will try their best to get what they want. I hope HHJP keeps them in line.

I get the same feeling, but a small delay wouldn't surprise me. I kind of anticipate it will happen. HHJP will extend a little leeway and then put the gavel down hard.
