I've been following along here since the onset and there's some great sleuthing going on here - :clap: Question to locals (or anyone else that may know), I just read the following article in the Tampa Bay and it mentions Pensacola's Mayor Mike Wiggins - is there any relation between this gentlemen and Hugh by any chance? Thanks and again welcome!

Probably not related. Hugh Wiggins, as I understand it, is from Louisiana

Defendants cooperating with investigators said that the guns used during the robbery and killings were transferred into Wiggins’ minivan which was later observed at her antique business in the 4300 of Gulf Breeze Parkway, according to an arrest report.

Wiggins was a passenger while the Billingses’ safe and the guns were in the van “and had knowledge these weapons were used by the suspects during the commission of the home invasion (and) double homicide.”

A neighbor reported that a second red vehicle sped away from Gonzalez Sr.’s Palm Court home in Escambia County with several people inside.

Forgive me for saying this, but this is like a bad novel --- it branches out in every direction with so many characters and backgrounds that half way through the story you forget what it is you're reading about.

There are two investigations. Sheriff Morgan has made that clear. As for the driver, that is a speculation and I used the "probably". It would explain how he knew where the safe was and why Pamela was a passenger instead of the driver. They drove to their primary residence with the safe. I'm not offering a "case solved", I'm asking if anyone has info on Hugh and explaining why the info is pertinent to my theory.

Does anyone have any ideas about why wiggins is smiling so much? What could she possibly be smiling about? The thing that gets me is that it doesn't look like a "fake" or forced smile - it looks really sincere and it also has a property about it that seems a little victorious. Wondering how her whole motivation will play into this...

Well her dying name is Earletta Billings!!! So I am gonna assume they got married!!!! Honestly, I have followed that angle all to well been really busy with some insane stuff. So if anyone wants to look into it...I would be curious to know if there any other scandals out there hidden--- guess by what we find everyday - yes, JMO.

she probably feels she's in a win-win situation. Not to mention she's out on bail. She probably has the key to just about everything in this case and can turn states witness against the low players and probably go witness protection plan for any federal case(s) for any higher level players. IMHO

the woman has no problems with playing the change your name game.

Hey there Daisy7, I was just asking for help in connecting some dots. I won't be making a habit of posting "theory" as fact, it would undermine this website. Thank you for asking my intentions. I did find the link to Billing's marriages. He's been married 3 times that are reported.
Court records show that a woman named Vickie Taylor used the name of Billings' second wife, Cindy Reeve, when checking into Sacred Heart Hospital... Delivered a baby there... And named Byrd Billings as the father in exhange for 21-hundred dollars.

CNN is running an in depth report on the murders and they showed the clip of Sheriff Morgan. They also interviewed a reporter from PNJ. He said he has some information that will come out tomorrow that is "very interesting". He said to stay tuned to the website and newspaper tomorrow.

I will miss you.
Current mood: depressed
This week started out great and ended tragically. We went from being happy and loving life to crying all night planning a funeral for the two greatest people I have ever met and trying to figure out whats going to happen next. Through it all I've learned what I think is the greatest lesson in life. Be yourself and who you want to be open your heart to the world and those who deserve your love will cherish it. You can make many mistakes in life but in the end make it what you want don't hold grudges and spend every breath telling the ones you love how you feel. In the end we all die, whether it be by choice, gods will, or by the hand of those trying to hurt us. Have no regrets. Life is just to short for that.

Bud and Melanie Billing- I have known you all my life and I really don't know what to do. Justin is strong and you should be so proud. All of your kids are amazing. I hope one day I can see you in heaven, I know now your with your angel. We love you.

Because of the DEAs involvement, I don't believe this is a political or ideological "cell". I believe it's a group that wanted to show it's "muscle", it's organization, it's "skill" as both a threat and a desirable attribute to the "right" people. Those "right" people control a drug trafficking ring that MAY be using wholesale cars as a means of delivery. But I am most certainly speculating.

Did I say something wrong? Where did everyone go? As a side note, it seems Gonzales, Jr is still obsessed with showing he tried the "good side" and was basically rejected and persecuted. To understand, you'd have to look at his MySpace rants and his interview where he stated he would never commit a crime (as he sat in jail and his Dad ratted him out). He complimented himself on his record of contributing to protecting society through an unconfirmed deal with the US Government and instructing children on defense and trying to create a UDT for "ultimate defense training". Through all of these good works (in his view) he was compelled to kill for money. Quite possibly to pay his child support to stay out of jail or feel comfortable pursuing visitation with his daughter. I only post this as a side. It's fairly slow right now as we await some breaking news. When it gets fast and furious, I'll stick to the facts.

I think PP/LPGjr was delusional and had a major hang up on what he called "Institutional Human Trafficking" believing that the courts who were tasked with deciding who gets the kids etc, were actually organized corruption. He was too short sighted and couldn't see that if you are violent and don't pay your child support, the courts will take the kids away. Also, rumors of his current wife perhaps being a stripper might put him over the edge also, and BB was in that business...

Only one speculative angle, and there are more.

I agree. This thread is so frustrating to read when people are basically saying "I know something you don't know," when we're all here for the same reason. Then it becomes a guessing game, when someone else mentions it, the person who 'knew it first' is like DING DING DING! YOU WIN. :banghead: I appreciate everyones work/sleuthing, but it's really annoying when this is happening. I agree with "say what you know, or don't mention it."

It's even more frustrating that there are so many names to keep straight, and it seems like we're grasping at straws to find connections. I know this has been discussed earlier, in regards to making more victims then there already are.

This is one strange murder case. A whole cast of different characters. I located Pamela Wiggin’s children’s myspace accts. I’m sure it’s them because there is a pic of Pam on her daugher’s acct and pics of some of the Gonzalez’s kids. What I thought was odd is the Aunt of the daughter (Wiggin’s ex-sister in law) is a special needs teacher in Ocala. And on her website is a mother that is raising 7 special needs children. I’m no youngster, and I don’t know one person raising special needs children but flip a page in this story and that keeps coming up.

The son is older and in college. He sounds like a sad person and in one of his blogs says he wishes he had a normal family while growing up. I’m not linking their myspace accts as the girl is a minor and the son doesn’t appear to live at home anymore.

IMO, Pamela is up to her eyeballs involved in this murder. No after the fact

Isn't one of the Newbies, Choux, or something like that an adoptive mother of 7 disabled children? I remember her mentioning being fearful.

Is there any way for you experts to connect the dots and help this poor family if it is indeed them?

Interesting angle. And on the topic of angles, I'm theorizing Billings was an innocent in all of this. BUT, someone was supposed to shut off the surveillance system. Who would have had access either remotely or locally that would have some reason to consider participating in the murder?

CNN has the Escambia Sheriff (David Morgan) on now. [This may be a repeat.]

They say they know the motive, mentions "high stakes poker". 8 people arrested at the moment and police are trying to move cautiously.

WHAT!?! Poker? Ok, perhaps the casino, bingo thing wasn't too off the wall after all.

I'm pretty sure Sheriff Morgan was using a poker game as a metaphor for the current investigation. He's basically saying they are playing a game trying to figure out who is bluffing and who is not and trying to get the bad guys to fold and lay their cards on the table. I don't think he literally meant poker is involved in this case. There's still no link on CNN that I can find, but I watched it plus Geraldo's show tonight on Fox News and Morgan using poker as a metaphor was my interpretation.

He did mention that robbery is not the only motive they are investigating but he did not elaborate.
