Well if you are saying that you also are seeing shades of CA in TN, then we will just to agree to disagree. There is clearly no comparison between the Ron and Casey or Cindy and Teresa. Getting closely involved with these cases tends to take alot of you emotionally, and I think it's easy for many to start blurring the lines, esp with the cases practically overlapping and this being new to so many.

It's just my observation, and I was pointing it out to SS to maybe help her see where some of the posters are coming from, that's all :blowkiss:
Thanks! I did need the reminder some are newer and view things quite differently. Case after case, we see how these things play out and a lot of the time...there are so many hidden factors among them that it is hard to see where it is going until LE steps up to the plate to play ball. I feel it is time for LE to throw out the pitch and get the players on the field.

This case is like night and day to the "other" case, imo.

With all due respect, I never quoted your posts or directed my post to anybody but SS. As I stated, as a simple observation to help her maybe see where SOME of the posters are coming from. I never said to help her see where "tehcloser" is coming from. It was never to meant to offend anyone and I THOUGHT I cleared that up.
Every poster on here does not intentionally set out to offend other posters. It would be nice if people didn't assume they were being attacked all the time. I even pointed out the point of my post, so I do not know how I could have made myself more clear.

I am only saying that just because someone is new to WS does not mean they are sleuthing, which was the part of your post I was responding to. You did not offend me at all, I was just saying the other side of that...I Totally agreed with the other part of your statement.

I'm going to go look at the other amber alerts going on and come back when things have clamed down over here!

I agree, SS.
These are 2 seperate cases, they should be treated as such without comparisons to eachother.

There is no love when an abusive person with drug problems loses your child while said child was left in the care of a 17 year old high school dropout with drug problems of her own.

Is there proof she had drug problems?

I agree, LE should make the next move, quick. I don't really feel either of the parents are responsible here, so LE is just leaving them twisting in the wind, growing more bitter and angry at eachother, and that's not helping anybody...least of all little JR stuck in the middle. I really wish everybody would think about what's in his best interest now. It's got to be hard on the little guy to lose the person he probably spent most of the time in his short life with, his big sissy. And now having to listen to adult conservations about it, I just think that's another tragedy here.
Hopefully CS learned her lesson last night and will focus on what's most important here.

I swear I have seen shades of CA in TN.....protect at all costs. :snooty:

I agree. TN has been openly supportive of Misty to the media. Defending her, making excuses for her. My question is, if she truly felt that way, why did she or great-grandma go by the trailer to *check* on the kids??? Why??

Just sayin

Ok, point taken :) About the rest we can just agree to disagree, because I just can't see the comparison

The only similarities I see are those between the blind defense of Misty as well.

Otherwise they are completely different- even on this board. In the CA case everyone seemed to agree where guilt lies.

Is there proof she had drug problems?
No. And there is also no proof that Ronald is an abuser...yet people keep stating it as a fact!!! GRRRR! Again, he is a victim here until proven otherwise. There is no indication yet he had any part of the disappearance of Haleigh!!

It was stated to drop off some clothes.

It was stated to drop off some clothes.

Yup, that's what I remember too. Great-grandma stopped by to drop off some clothes. Nobody ever said she stopped by because she had concerns about the kids being in Misty's care. That's pure speculation.

Not saying I don't have my own concerns about Misty, but I've not seen any proof of drug involvement on her part. If there was, I somehow doubt it went behind weed, which seems to be the norm for these folk. But all that is for another thread anyway, sorry for the OT.

Crystal has tried from the beginning to draw the fire towards Ronald with the help of her mother. She now has taken Rj from witness to garbage testimony which does help to derail LE and thwart this part of the investigation. This is not consistent with cooperation with LE as I believe they asked her not to mention anything about Rj and she said they asked her not to question him! As we could see on national tv...she did both.

Bio mom
1. ************
2. She owes $4000 in back child support. Contempt was filed the day Haleigh went missing. If she can not make this payment, she will go to jail. Who will take care of the new baby?
3. She has a new life, new baby, new fiance. Her previous children were a financial burden. Non custodial parents hate paying child support.
4. She shows no tears, like she knows Haleigh is safe.
5. She was court ordered into Rehab during custody hearings.
6. She conveniently had a doctors appointment when DNA was requested.
7. She has been spreading malicious rumors about the bio father.
8. She is bitter; yet, composed.
9. She knows a lot of Ron's and Misty's habits and schedule, probably by asking her children.
10. Perhaps she hopes Ron will lose custody after all of this.

Actually, TN said it herself on NG. I'm not speculating....

GRACE: Hold it for a moment. Thank you. Joining me right now, Teresa Neves, the paternal grandmother of little Haleigh. Ms. Neves, thank you for being with us. What do you make of this scenario? Was the baby- sitter at home that night in bed with the little girl or not?

TERESA NEVES, PATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: I believe that she was. To the best of my knowledge, she was there. I had a family member there that night checking on the children, dropping off some clothes. So I know up to a point that she was definitely there. There`s no doubt in my mind that she was there, you know?

Why leave your kids with someone that requires being *checked on?*???

I was fuming last night when I saw she'd done this to RJ! She is clearly not thinking of her children at all IMO. She ought to be ashamed of herself! And of course she has repeatedly gone against the wishes of LE on discussing things. :(

Nah, I just took that to mean that while she was dropping off the clothes, she saw the kids, so therefore she "checked on them" that night. I didn't take it as the purpose of the visit was to check on kids, nor did TN imply that was what she meant. I thought she actually made it quite clear her opinion that the kids were fine in Misty's care.

So that's how I came to my conclusion based on that statement, and numerous others made by TN and her opinion on Misty.

I knew I heard that somewhere too.
