Anger, pointing fingers and slinging mud does nothing to help find Haleigh. It's a waste of precious much needed energy and a waste of valuable media airtime. They need to be made to realize how lucky Haleigh is to have such media attention on her case. So few children get such coverage. The media is not going to cover this forever, they need to be using it to the max. advantage.

The parents/family should put all their crap aside and unite for this little girl. They should be using their air time to beg for whoever has their daughter to return her or drop her off at a hospital or fire station, for anyone that may have information or have seen her to call LE, remind the public that their is a reward and to tell the public about her birthmarks, characteristics, and anything to make an impression to keep her in people's minds.

I wish Ronald and his family would finally come out swinging!! I wish they would tell everything they know or suspect about Crystal and her family's possible involvement in this case. I bet they would have a LOT to say!

I know they won't because I do believe it does have to do with showing some decorum in the public eye, but it would sure level the field.

While I was doing some research, I noticed how serious LE is about going after people who have not paid their child support. They have a listing on Putnam County Sheriff's site with several listed in the Crime Stopper section for far less than what Crystal owes in back support. One was only $2,000.00 yet they were looking for him like he had robbed a bank! I guess they do take it VERY seriously there.

Obviously a lot more seriously than they take drug and assault charges.
I think Crystal was beaten down by Ron for a long time. Then I think she had to be a good girl and keep her mouth shut if she wanted to see her children.
My ex owes me $27k and has never spent a day in jail for it.
It bothers me, but not nearly as much as if he'd lost my child while his teen girlfriend was on babysitting duty.
I also believe he beat Crystal and that, IMO, is much worse than owing $4000 in back child support.

I think that all the mud-slinging is keeping the media interested. Nothing else is going on with the case. Ron's tattoo and criminal record and Crystal's back child support is about all there is to discuss.
I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think any amount of begging is going to bring Haleigh home.
The media in this case will hopefully keep enough pressure on LE and the guilty party to bring whoever did this to justice and closure to the families.

Neither of these parents would win "Mother/Father of the Year" but at least the father and his side stick to voicing concerns about Haleigh..period. Crystal and relatives do nothing but take every chance to bad mouth the other side. I am sure Ron, if so inclined, could bad mouth CS, starting with the child support she doesn't pay. There is an endless list for both sides, the point is RC isn't and hasn't taken that road, he is only concerned about his missing daughter. That speaks volumes to me. jmho

There is no love when an abusive person with drug problems loses your child while said child was left in the care of a 17 year old high school dropout with drug problems of her own.

I've heard both sides of the debate regarding a 17 year old caring for Haleigh. It may not have been the most ideal plan, however, when you are a single parent trying to work and support two children, with no help financially from the other parent, sometimes that puts you in a position of "a rock and a hard place". Trying to find affordable child care so he could work to support his children is not something CS had to worry about. If a SP took Haleigh, and thats what I believe, then there is no reason to blame anyone other than the SP. If CS was abused, she should have addressed that, this is not about her. jmho

The one thing that I find worrisome about this child support issue that I think is at the heart of some of these families issues is how in the world Crystal can justify having another baby when she obviously can not support the 2 that she already had? I do not understand that.

I'd say both sides of Haleigh's family are pretty good sleuthers and thinking of all sorts of scenarios, except they should focus more on SO's or someone who may have groomed and targetted Misti online and found out her living situation with the children, because every kind of freak imaginable is probably online looking for a sucker or someone to victimize. So many crimes are showing up today to be technology related with clues in cell phone and computer usage. Why not this case.

Crystal was criticized in the beginning when she was in shock and unemotional. Some of the same posters slamming her for speaking out are the same ones that complained that she didn't say much in the beginning.

Now that she is expressing her anger and concern, they think she's wrong.

I am with you ks- I'd be talking to anyone who would listen- including the media and I would be telling the world everything there is to tell about Ron's activities.

I am certain that his activities and associates (Misty included) are responsible for Haleigh's disappearance. And every day I'm even more sure of this.

Even if I ignore his illegal activities I will never be able to forgive him for leaving his 2 young children w/ a 17 year old girl who by most accounts was strung out. A good parent does not leave his children w/ a 17 year old that late at night. They are easy prey. A good parent does not allow his own 17 year old daughter to babysit that late at night for the same reasons. It is not about maturity or responsibility-it's about safety.

I really do respect those that wait til they are financially stable to have children. Unfortunately I wasn't one. I have three beautiful babies though. Now 18,9, and 7. And a new grandson. I have an answer to your last question since my just turned 18 year old just had a baby. Because they're in looove.

i am much too tired to search for the link but IIRC, she was gone for 3 days and Ron retrieved her the day Haleigh went missing. it has been talked about repeatedly in all of the threads.
of course there are many 17 year olds that are responsible enough to babysit. but i would never let my daughter babysit that late at night alone-b/c she would be an easy target. Too many creeps out there.

Well, I have a 17 year old and she sits with my younger kids , sometimes short periods, and some overnights. I consider her very responsible. I think it depends on the 17 year olds raising to be honest. Misty is obviously allowed to do as she pleases such as living with a man, hes 25 correct? I know my daughter wouldn't do that, ALTHO I have to honest and admit I married my husband when I was 17 and he was 26. There were no children from his first marriage, probably a factor in us being married 18 years and counting I was allowed a free lifestyle and wish I had been supported more by my parents. I am glad I married , but I, myself would rather have been partying at that age . My daughter would rather be home watching tv . I think Misty may have snuck out and someone actually came in and took the little girl. I hope this is posted in correct spot I think Ron and Misty are both innocent, as well as Crystal. I think they are negligent on some things, each one of them. I just don't have the feeling of this being an act of those 3 for any reason. I think Misty has looked a little buzzed, JMO, in some interviews and I think Ron has also, could just be shock and fear and emotional drain. I think they have an idea of who did this but are scared, and I don't know what . It may be drug related...I don't know....could be something else, maybe Misty has a 2nd BF and he was jealous? Maybe he secretly noted Rons working hours and Mistys habits and kidnapped an innocent little girl I haven't actually ruled out a family member being involved tho. There seems to be alot of tension.
I just hope they do the right thing for Haylieghs safe return ( I think i mispelled her name ). Maybe they have told LE and it being a small town, the officials may be in chaos trying to figure out how to go about arresting someone they may have grown up with or have known for a very long time. This is the typical small town way....our town has 3000 pop, its ran by small town politics. Maybe they will all find away to get her home safely. I feel like shes alive, but being held for the sheer joy the abductor is acheiving by hurting which ever parent they don't like. So many theories...I could type ...myself to sleep. I have another good theory also. i will post it on Rons thread.

Last night I spent some time reading comments made supposedly by the locals on the local news channel and that's what they're saying. When she was on the news, her pupils were dilated to about three times their normal size. Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck.

That's never been proven. Just another rumor put out there by bio mom's family.

Ok thank you, so we really have nothing but rumors from other blogs. I just hate labeling people from gossip when there is nothing that states it as fact. I too have read the local news blogs and wowzers some pretty nasty and bizzare stuff being said about all parties involved.
