I'm with you on this one. Money might not be the primary motive. CS's family, particularly her mother and her father, were not happy that RC got custody. At the end of the custody document was a letter written by CS's father which listed 1001 reasons why RC should not have gotten custody. I think they are very bitter about this and hold a grudge. Making RC look like a parental failure might be their concept of justice.

Alot of places to hide a child in the woods,if your a hunter and live in an area all your life.So many relatives and friends,especially some of those dog fighting buddies.Maybe even in Alabama that the gma keeps saying she might be taken to.
 
Goodness was looking at JS's myspace,a friend from Tennessee,85 yo female,myspace is seriously popular.LOL That reminds me,does the BioMom have any relatives in Tennessee,also?I was just wondering about that sighting,did anything ever come of that?

I have been suspicious of the Griffis/Sheffield side for a while now. I wonder if any one of them have a hunting or fishing camp somewhere?

They could. I have been suspicious of them because of the letter that Crystal and Ron recieved on the day before Haleigh's disappearance....C'mon now....that is too coincidental.
 
BioMom's Dad is 46 and his wife is 29?I know on NGrace his wife said she wasn't staying at campsite at night,she's a nurse.I was worried about anyone having Haleigh,since she has medical problems.We were just talking about that tonight.I wonder if she still has to take hormone treatments.If someone did take her and knew her medical problems,they probably would have medicine for her already.

I was have been perplexed (my big word for the day) by CS's response during this whole thing but I kept thinking she has got to be on medication. Any mention of my child and cadaver dogs in the same conversation would send me over the edge.

Did anyone see the behind the scenes footage of the GR interview that was done by visitingpalatka.com? I am pretty sure JR was at CS's camp site watching her do the video...if so, he is hearing everything his mom is saying about his dad knowing where his sister is and abusing her. I would think that would taint any future information JR might have remembered.

If you look at his myspace,he's a hunter/exmarine,actually he wears hunters camo,wood camo.I think that's why they took Crystal to the abandoned house,if they suspect something like this.Just to see her reaction,if she thinks they might be on to something.

Well,they were suppose to go to court on it,March 29 or 27th,but when this happened they postponed the court date until Haleigh is found.:waitasec::)
 
that might explain why the change in clothes...the biofamily would have clothes for her...it just seems like this would be too much thought and activity to go this far...wouldn't it just be easier to get a job to pay the child support?
 
Does anyone know what connection the Sargents and Padgets have to the Sheffields?
 
I pray to God that biofamily (lol, I think it's funny we're refer to them as 'biofamily' and 'bio-mom' - Ron and Co are biological too - lol but it's easier this way, I think) did it - at least then she's safe. It's a horrible, mean thing to do to a person (just look at how Ron is handling it) but I hope they did take her. And she's at bio-mom's house, eating pizza and watching Spongebob. I pray.
 
Ron and Crystal got a letter Feb 10th,that On March 27,she would have to go to court about the back childsupport payments of $4100.I believe she could go to jail,if she didn't have it.I'll delete that part,if I'm wrong.Monday Feb 10th it's filed,at 3:30 am Feb 11th,Haleigh is gone.

Thank you! Sorry I didn't get online until late tonight and am just reading this--
what's the address of the court website you're using to access this docket info? I'd like to peek around (especially to see who filed the domestic violence pleadings!) and I don't have the website address on hand.

I think it looks like Crystal did not return the children when she was supposed to after her visitation periods. She also, as we know, failed to pay the child support that was court ordered. I think these moves probably made it more difficult for her to challenge Ronald's custody successfully.

Also, once custody has been established, each day this arrangement is in place makes it more difficult for the challenging parent to be granted custody, IMO.
The children would have been establishing routines, relationships and bonds as a result of their placement in the father's home. They likely had established relationships with physicians and other caregivers-- if Crystal got custody and moved the children, they would lose those newly established support systems and frameworks and the court could view this upheaval as contrary to the best interests of the children. This fact would also make it more difficult for Crystal to successfully challenge custody.

Add these two factors together and it looks like an uphill battle for the non-custodial mother, Crystal.

I have read almost every page of every thread (I'd about about 85% of them) and I didn't know that RC petitioned the court. Hmm. I should start paying more attention! Thanks for the info! :blowkiss:
 
Also,since Haleigh has Turners Syndrome and had to have medical treatments,Crystal had missed over 20 doctors appts.
