The warrant states that the Ford Raptor was seized on 5/31, the day the video was taken and the day they did the trash search. Doesn’t state anything about seizure of other vehicles although it seems unlikely they’d take his other vehicles before the Raptor.
If MT rented it 2 days before that seems suspicious to me. They must have known LE was onto them, or at least wanting not to be seen in vehicles connected to the case. That would also imply greater involvement and knowledge on MTs part.

Wasn’t FD planning on having his kids for an extended weekend? Maybe they rented a bigger vehicle for that reason......IDK.....

Here are some photos as you drive on Mountain Spring. At least three of the huge estate lots to the left of his house for sale belong to Fore Group. That is a ton of acreage.

I was wondering if JD owned any empty lots. Could there be any old, abandoned wells on those acres? Surely a builder would know.

I'm not sure it is suspicious or whether it was simply rented to replace FD's own Suburban that was seized by LE JMO

The warrant says that FD's Ford Raptor was seized on May 31, which is the same day that the Daily Mail published the video showing FD driving the Maryland license plate vehicle out of his driveway as he and MT were escorted by police to a LE facility. Per the Daily Mail article, FD was apparently escorted off his property sometime after 6pm on the 31st. I'm not sure what time Dulos' Ford Raptor was seized on that day -- i.e., if it was seized earlier that day and in response the Maryland license plate vehicle was rented?

In FD's motion to return evidence seized the other vehicles are listed. None of MT's though that I see.

He did own several lots and they still have for sale signs on them up in Farmington. If he had prepared a grave for her and put her there the afternoon of her disappearance during the two hours his phone pinged at Mt. Spring, then the grave would have grown over and looked undisturbed in a very short time. The rain we have had in Ct. this spring has caused everything to grow lush and thick very rapidly. People could have walked over the and never known.

I truly feel like the red truck plays a huge role to all this. He used old license plates that friday am, altered them, and drove to NC. I think he left that truck in the waverly park area, walked/jogged through train tracks and woods to get to JDs home. (thus the poison ivy). Then takes JDs suburban with all the bags and JD, and i think FD dumps her somewhere between JDs house and Wav park. Then switches car at Wav park, throws the balance of the bags in the red truck and takes it back home. there is cell ping activity that afternoon back and forth between his home and the other property a few miles away. He was still in clean up mode. Then finally takes altered plates off red truck, and throws all the garbage in the garage of the other home. Walks back to his house with a sense of "cleanup complete". When report of JD missing is public, first thing he can think of is getting rid of those bags to finish it off. I think we was planning on having a normal night with MT and then sat am say "he needed to take care of a few things" early sat am and got rid of the bags. I dont think he would still have the body at this point.

I am confused by the current lack of searches for JD. If large scale searches were going on, wouldn't we know about it? I think yes.

So, why aren't LE asking for the public's help searching? Or, why isn't LE conducting them on their own? What does LE know that would preclude them from doing large scale coordinated searches? I feel like the only answer I can come up with is that they know where she is? But then if they know where she is why no murder charges? I keep getting stuck in this loop.

I totally agree. It's rather odd isn't it? Yet I end up with the same conclusion as you. LE knows what happened to JD body, but doesn't have body. Maybe that's the wait with MIRA . LE maybe found bone fragments, however they need to be tested to determine whether animal or human. If human than is it JD DNA? It's the wait. It seems to imply they found something at MIRA, and it's at crime lab being tested. That can take up to 2 weeks approximately. If that's not why LE is waiting, then your guess is as good as mine.

We've had lots of rain down here in VA , and cannot go 7 days before it needs mowing again. Someone mentioned how high the grass has grown at JD rental property recently.

Today's news- Another murderer on the loose after he cut off
his ankle monitor while his trial was in session.

As we've discussed previously there was a delay in the time he
removed the ankle monitor and the time LE was aware.

ABC News this am said he removed the monitor at 11pm and LE
was not aware till the next day. So he had a jump on his escape.

I would assume LE would have searched every inch, not to mention the dogs. However, if you put lime on a body, doesn’t that expedite decomposition and mask the smell?

I believe it's LYE that accelerates decomposition.
As Mass Guy has pointed out, sometimes even cadaver dogs can be fooled.

Right - we know there were other warrants but the arrest warrant has been the only one publicly released that I can find and apparently the media has not dug into this. I find that odd. JMO

I hope that kid lawyer got himself untangled from this toxic defense/defendant/s. Still waiting to see whether law clerk gets interviewed, whether that was a deliberate strategic attorney client privilege waiver or just a blunder on the part of defense team/s’ (my guess would be deliberate accidental waiver, because just another third party likely fed false info by FD, so they want to use the kid as a fact witness to throw shade at MT and/or help with mud and reasonable doubt for FD, but who knows)
