I don't see him putting that box on the car. Most people take them off after ski season, too much drag, increases gas consumption, box gets hot in there. Need 2 people to put it on. I think everything fit inside the car covered with a tarp.
I agree I think JD is near the NC properties. He couldn't risk someone coming to the house and getting stopped with the body so had to get rid of it quick no long drive. They need to do more searches in NC and Pound Ridge - IMO.

I cannot take my mind from the idea that she is either in the pond or in the property at Pound Ridge.

His revenge fantasies influence my thinking.

It is 15 minutes from NC so near enough to be feasible. It is secluded so a car or truck could pull in, dispose of a body and leave without being noticed. The altered plates could have been used there in case the vehicle was seen.

Mostly, I think of his smug satisfaction in what he has done to GF because his problems started when her husband died and she asked for repayment of the loans. I think a revenge component against FD is a big part of this. And, so far he thinks he has won.

I think he left her body in 80 MS and that would account for the banging at 5am...and I do not think we will hear anything before the MIRA search comes back from being analyzed which takes about 2 weeks which is right before MT’s next court date...it is possible that is when the next phase would start

Well she is certainly wrong on one aspect. Jennifer was involved in their waterskiing in the US, attending the coaching in Florida according to her blog and spending a week at US Nationals. The author IS correct about the sets being 10-15 each for slalom (and 30 minutes or so for trick) While the children may spend 11 hours a day at the lake, the skiing wouldn’t amount to much more than an hour each day per child actually on the water training.

The bank loan came from Sue Morin of Farmington Bank who pleaded the 5th since she didn't want to self incriminate herself. She now works for Peoples Bank. The loan had MT name on it.

This whole sequence of events smells bad IMO. Also, how would someone be able to get another job with a regulated financial institution if what I think this is all about is what really happened? Baffled. Was she held in contempt or were there any consequences from the Court for the lack of testimony?

A small correction...you don’t need 2 people to put them on the car; my husband does it by himself all the time. So that wouldn’t keep FD from using one.

Just wanted to put this NYP article into the thread as it deals with the issue of JD atty. filing motions against the GAL and Pattis. I put a copy in the Media thread for future reference.

The training on the lake in CT probably involved multiple runs for each kiddo. That would be interesting to kids for a short period of time, but I think it's highly unlikely it was entertaining for all. One or so of the kids may have been passionate about the sport and willing to continue. However, as kids get older, some prefer to play other sports with friends. IMO, that's when JD started to hear complaints. And, I'm afraid that FD was deaf to them. As his sister said in her publicized "Is it relevant article,

"Is it relevant to know that Fotis adored ski and competed at a professional level? And that the constant effort to attain high goals has shaped his character, sense of fairness and can-do approach to life? Do you care to know that all he has wanted to do for his children is set a standard of fair play and constant effort in an effort to attain goals? IMO, FD got lost in his dreams and forgot his children were children. Not all of them shared the same passion for their father's favorite sport. I'm also interested in how he viewed the reports from school. Perfection in his children seemed to be a reflection on him.

I agree with NC theory you mention. But the bulk of the recent searched have been Hartford based leading me to believe that CCTV exists to support all that effort. A huge amount of peoplepower and resources have gone into the Hartford seaches IMO so I'm guesses there must be a good reason.

If this event were premeditated and a burial location prepared in advance of the event it seems that NC/Pound Ridge/Wilton/upper Westchester locations would minimize time that the body would have to be held by the perp IMO.

Does anyone have a timeline of JD and FD activities and locations the days leading up to JD going missing. She waas last seen around 8am @ NCCDS on the 24th. FD was at JD WS home on Wed the 22nd. JD friend said on HLM interview the last time she was with JD was that Wed. They went for a walk in the "park" with her dog. Where and when was this? Where was FD during the day on the 22nd and 23rd? The last time JDs two friends talked with her were Thursday evening the 23rd.

Random thoughts that went thru my head last night unable to sleep at 3am .
1. Why are MT and FD court dates nearly a month apart . Yet were charged for the same crime on the same day ?
2. The Albany Odyssey of stupidity .... Why on earth would FD think this was a good idea ? Why would he not dispose of the bags with the body ?
3. 30 bags is A LOT of bags ! I mean that is a lot of clothes Towels sponges etc ... If he had to bag up that much stuff it would’ve taken a very long time ... not to mention the time it would take to actually use 30 bags worth of clean up stuff . This leads me to believe he had help with that part ( MT ) . NP said she passed the polygraph but has LE ever said that ?

I love this theory, my question here is how would using fake plates while in NC mislead EE? Because NC cameras would not detect the vehicle while transporting the bags from JDs place (or 80MS if the bagging occurred there)? Also did we think that the Red Truck got a car wash, in which case EE would definitely know his car had been used.

EE's Red Truck is doing double duty.

The altered plates were for misleading EE and most importantly misleading LE.

IMO, it was imperative that EE think that FD had not driven the red truck that Friday so if the red truck showed up on LE cameras, then EE could say that his red truck never left 80 MS.

If the red truck, with the correct plates, was seen on LE's cameras then EE could immediately say that only FD had access to the Red Truck that Friday.

If the truck, with correct plates, was picked up by LE cameras in NC and during the round trip from Farmington, then LE could prove that EE's truck was in NC that day and how can EE be in FD's truck and in his own red truck at the exact same time?

I do not think that the red truck actually needed a car wash. IMO, FD took it through the car wash for either or both of the following reasons.

1. EE's red truck got dirty during the commission of disposing of JD's body.

2. FD wanted to wash away any evidence, like blood in EE's red truck.

It is not been confirmed by LE, that the red truck went through the car wash that Friday.

We are assuming that the red truck went through, since LE was seen at the Avon Car Wash.

This entire waterski fantasy of FD for his children is a total head scratcher for me. Water ski as a sport isn't at all 'big/popular' with children in CT. Sure there are folks that do it but when you see the mass of children of Dulos children age learning to play soccer, football, lacrosse, swim, hockey, field hockey, ride, crew etc. then I can see where if a child was asked instead of doing these more popular sports to spend time at the waterski pond instead then they would be more than a bit annoyed IMO.

Also, from a developmental standpoint many children start playing soccer quite young and the fields are filled with young children playing soccer for a good portion of the year. Most children don't stay with soccer but many do and ditto for the other sports.

Water skiing simply doesn't fit the mold of what most children want to do and I think JD recognized this.

Children only have so much free time so if you have someone wanting children to spend all or most of their available time practicing water skiing then its a problem as they won't get exposure to other sports. Sports for children are so personal and as a parent its hard to figure out which sport your child will enjoy. So, children have to try multiple things to figure out if they like a sport or even if sports are for them. There are so many activities to try to figure out what works for a child and it takes time. I can see why JD was frustrated on behalf of her children if they didn't get time to try other things.

Sports have actually become so competitive for children that its important for them to figure out what they enjoy and get the time in early in the event that they want to play in later years at the high school level. Sounds crazy to put it this way but for some sports its impt to start at 5-6 yrs old to get in the time to be competitive!

The whole Resevoir property is gated and locked at night, you couldn’t get in with a vehicle after they close. You also can’t drive on any of the access roads though the Resevoir police do to patrol. The main paths are an oval with Center paths. But you can hear everything around there and it’s a bit of a fishbowl. Everything north of his house at MDC would be hard to access with a heavy backpack.

We saw the Thule box on the top of FD Suburban in the picture where he was with MT and 8 children to go skiing.

This picture was his FB profile picture for quite awhile and we all puzzled why he chose to flaunt the court ordered no MT contact with JD children via FB in such a public way?

Agree with you. The stories of him maintaining spreadsheet on the developmental milestones of each of the children was more than a bit chilling to me. The thing that stayed with me though was that he was doing it not for the children but to be able to prove to the court that HE was an 'involved and caring parent'.

I'm having a hard time in any of the MSM reporting to find any example of FD actually spending time with the children because he cared about them and just wanted to spend the time? We have seen water skiing hard core training as a metaphor for life and hard work, spreadsheets to track the childrens progress at parent teacher conferences, trips to Greece excluding JD for water ski tournys etc. We have seen reports from parents at school to say JD went to school events by herself etc. We have seen other reports where FD was "away" 10 days per month on non work business allegedly for water skiing training.

What was going on here? By all accounts per MSM FD seems like a distant father figure and not involved in the actual day to day grind of child rearing that JD dove into head first by all accounts?

The banging was heard at the NC Fore Group house, not 80 MS which is in Farmington.
