My guess is that he dismembered her and put her body parts in those bags. At the trash plant, her body and other evidence contained in the bags were subsequently further shredded.

I suspect they have gathered a large amount of evidence at the trash plant, possibly including body parts. They may be tasked now at finding every shred of material they can, for a full picture. A truly grisly task.

Does anyone know if there are searches being conducted elsewhere with a lot of man power? If there are not intense searches being conducted elsewhere, I suspect they know that all the damning evidence they are looking for is located in that plant.

Will LE take MT back into jail on Tues. because her info is all BS?
Will they take back any agreement they made with her if things don't pan out?
Maybe this is her last weekend of freedom for awhile?

I think they would have to file additional charges in order to put her back in jail, since she bonded out on the current ones. I would think that whatever deal they have with her would be contingent upon whether or not she was telling the truth, and not shown to be deliberately withholding information that they were specifically seeking in the terms of the agreement.

I think the issue was that the quote on the Patch was from her blog, which has since been taken down. I haven't checked to see if other blog quotes on here have disappeared.
No, on Patch she is a contributor, a writer. Her blog on wordpress, which has been made private, was a totally separate thing. She has a link to her private blog on the Patch Avon Neighbor Contributions.

Is there any information about what FD's days are like in jail? Solitary confinement? I assume his high profile keeps him out of the general population. I am intrigued to know what his current state of mind is. Psychology has always intrigued me. I wonder if he is being cooperative, or angry, or is in despair. Does he have the luxury of a television and books? Or is he in a cell by himself with nothing but a toilet and zero stimulation, left to stew in his miserable situation.

Not sure if anyone knows. Just pure curiosity on my part.

Just went back to JD"s words, she knew what he was/ is..

“I know that filing for divorce and filing this motion will enrage him,” she said, according to the documents. “I know he will retaliate by trying to harm me in some way.”

She said her fear intensified after Fotis Dulos purchased a handgun in 2017 and said he had “revenge fantasies” about harming other people.

Thank you to everyone in LE and all others who have been leaning in and tirelessly working on this case to seek justice for JD.

I’m intrigued by this too!!

The warrant states he made 30 stops but doesn't say he got rid of 30 bags (bulleted under #11 in the warrant). It states that the stills determined the vehicle was consistent with a vehicle that LE had seen. It also states that the man exited the vehicle and placed multiple bags in receptacles, clarifying that some of the items appeared to be "stained with a substance consistent with the appearance of blood." MT was seen either picking up or placing an item at one point as she leaned out of the truck. With the last item mentioned being the FED EX box in the drain. Officers went to trash receptacles and recovered bags consistent with the ones placed by the man (FD) and the bags had clothing, household goods, and other items.

We don't know if there were 30 bags but we know there were 30 stops. We can infer that the bags were probably not black because it would be hard to see substances that resemble blood on a black bag on a video shot at night.

I think he, in his delusional mind, expected cash from JD’s death, from gaining custody and control of the kids’ inheritance.

An inheritance related issue occurred to me as I was reading this thread. FD was not just after JD's trust fund and the kid's inheritance from JD - but also the assets belonging to their 85-year old grandmother. She lives on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, the apartment alone is worth millions. JD only had one unmarried sister. The children would no doubt inherit the bulk of the grandmother's estate and eventually the sister's as well. FD eyes must have glittered just thinking about all that dough.

FD end game may have been
  1. Jennifer goes missing, he automatically gets custody and children's trust fund for child support. He gets full ownership of their huge home and any other assets in common. He controls the children's inheritance plus any assets JD held personally
  2. FD moves to Greece to avoid oversight and siphons money from the children's inheritance to his own accounts. (Easier to do Greece/Cyprus.)
  3. 7 years later, FD petitions the court to declare JD dead. He sues to get part of her estate as the husband of the deceased, while maintaining control of the remaining underage children's trust. Continues siphoning money out of the kids inheritance.
  4. Granny dies at some point. FD get controls of all the assets belonging to the underage children. Again, he would petition for part of it b/c he has been a full time dad. Regardless, he's now in an area where money juggling is not prosecuted and continues enriching himself.
  5. Kids grow up and find themselves not all that wealthy and dependent on dear dad.
All while living a luxurious lifestyle in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Fabers had so much and FD had so little - how they did miss their daughter was in danger. Must have been unimaginable to them, completely outside their worldview.

MOO

LE has video showing MT and/or FD disposing stuff at many, many garbage cans and, so far, they have apparently only found sponges and clothes with blood.

However, there are additional garbage cans that video did NOT capture it has not (yet) been found. Also, just because they were able to capture footage of some garbage can drops doesn’t mean they could retrieve items from those drops. Here are categories we’re dealing with.

1. JD-linked items dropped in garbage cans that have been retrieved by LE, and there is footage of the suspects doing the drop.

2. JD-linked items (presumably) dropped in garbage cans that have been retrieved by LE, even though there is no footage of the suspects doing the drop.

3. JD-linked items dropped in garbage cans that have NOT been (could not be) retrieved by LE, but there is footage of the suspects doing the drop.

4. Potential JD-linked items dropped in garbage cans that have not been retrieved by LE, and there is no footage of the suspects doing the drop. (i.e., there is likely more garbage cans that were used by MT and/or FD and LE doesn’t know where because there is no footage found of them yet, and LE didn’t find the cans with help of residents checking their cans or from some other source).

5. JD-linked items at the waste site that could come from 1-4 above or some other manner AND have been identified by LE.

6. JD-linked items at the waste site that could fall within some of the categories above and have NOT (yet) been identified and are still in the big piles that LE has not yet gotten to looking through.

7. JD-linked items at the waste site that could fall within some of the categories above and have NOT been identified but they are not in the big unsorted pile, but rather, they are in the sections that LE has already shifted through. In other words, the items are simply not identifiable.

8. JD-linked items at the waste site that, no matter how they arrived there, cannot be retrieved because they have already been incinerators.

I am restating my original belief that poor JD was dismembered and pieces of her body thrown out among various garbage cans. The reason I suspect this is because the footage makes clear these people went to a large amount of garbage cans, so LE is not aware of all the cans used. In the universe of places to find JD-related items related to garbage cans, LE only has items from categories 1, 2 and 5 and none are body parts. However, in the context of garbage disposing, body parts could be in any of categories 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 and, therefore, it is not surprising that body parts have not yet been found in the garbage context.

Is it possible that MT and/or FD decided only to dispose of cleanup and other blood-stained items such as clothes using garbage cans, but decided to put body parts someplace different and not in garbage cans? Yes, I suppose. But why would they do that? Also, one or both of them must have suspected it is not easy for dogs to sniff out human bodies that have been chopped with so many different chemicals, old medicines like hormones, hygiene items like menstrual pads, and dead animals? Also, it seems LE is focusing on the waste site; otherwise we would see tons of cadaver dogs all over the properties including the woods.

I think body parts will ultimately be found in (1) garbage cans that, sadly, have not yet made their way off a residential or commercial property for whatever reason; (2) in the large unsorted pile that awaits further searching. Otherwise, it would go against the odds.

It is revolting to me that MT‘s lawyer is probably negotiating what she will disclose in terms of information and tying that to what she will be charged with, or a recommended sentencing. I am a lawyer but I find that process really unseemly and I wish that a jury could be told something to the effect of “the defendant initially offered some additional information, but then declined to provide additional information about where these five children’s mother’s body could be found unless prosecutors agreed to a few years less in recommended sentencing time. That would not sit well with jurors and would probably result in a guilty verdict no matter what. However, that would not be admissible. I hate that these negotiations are “off the record “and not admissible in court.

Anyway, dismembering a body and disposing of body parts in several garbage cans is not exactly an unusual thing. See this link for a crime involving just that.

Man Who Dismembered Girlfriend Requests Joint Custody Of Daughter

I think he waited in the school parking lot, saw her drop off the kids, followed her home came up the driveway behind her, blocked her car in the garage, got out and attacked her. If it had worked as he had planned, he would have put her in his vehicle and left. But, it didn't and he had to call MT to help move the car and clean up. Then they both drove back up to JC. He went on with the body to Mt. Spring Road and the rest is history.
Now this is interesting but you would think she would know he was following her unless he stayed back or was in a different car ? If he had his phone they know IMO

They have him on video stopping 30 times.

I am in the camp of dismemberment occurring but I don't think her body parts were disposed of on Albany St. I believe he did not take his phone to NC that day. I think he and MT took 2 cars--deposited her car away from scene. After the murder or harming of JD, they took JD's car to Waveny. FD took MT to her car. FD used the time (after leaving MT and before returning home) to finish killing JD or disposing/dismembering JD. Then, that night he had to get rid of the clothes, clean up items, weapons, and all else, so he took things to Albany St. I think he was smart enough to not dispose of her on his properties (current or not to distant past) or do anything that would leave evidence in his truck. Maybe she was in a tub/barrel. Otherwise, evidence of her would be in his truck--physical or cadaver scent.

When he was first arrested, it was reported he's in isolation and
No Visitors Allowed- I assume this means other than his atty.
I would guess he's an angry, mean prisoner unless he's trying to charm the guards.

I've been spending alot of time thinking about Mrs. Farber and the options her legal team are no doubt putting on the table for her to consider. I don't think anyone expected to go this long and not have JD back or her body. It might be early days yet on the legal front but I wonder at what point Mrs. Faber would pursue a separate civil action for wrongful death against both FD and MT? Would she wait a while longer to see if a body is found or does she file now in order to keep FD in jail if she is concerned he would bail out? What happens if the State can't put together a strong enough case for murder charge against MT and FD? Such tough calls but she has to be concerned about the grandchildren.

On a separate note I also wonder if the State might be forced to file the murder charge/s to coincide with the Tuesday court date? There were lots of POV on this topic the other day but I'm curious where people are leaning now? If FD weren't a dead man walking before then he really is now with his 2 main civil atty's jumping ship this past week. Desperate people tend to do stupid desperate things and Mrs Farber might be extremely concerned about what FD might do and not think a simple ankle bracelet would stop him from harming her or the grandchildren. Hate to think about things like this but I truly wonder if FD were to bail out how the people he might seek revenge against could be kept safe? If you recall the testimony of JD about FD revenge fantasies and how he wanted to fly a plane and drop a brick on a person that wronged him in business, you have to wonder what he might do if he were really angry???? Scary to think about actually.

I would expect that LE has been discussing with Mrs. Faber what MT and her attorneys spoke with them about this past week, like why she was dumping bloody crime scene stuff.

Perhaps like Kelsey Berreth's mother, she and LE will agree to a reduced charge (maybe even with no jail time) in order to get the goods on FD. MT will have to testify against him or lose the deal.

That keeps the children out of the hands of the maniac at least until the trial is done.

One criminal may walk but the one with the link to Jennifer's children may not.

If I were Mrs. Faber I'd take that option in a heartbeat.
