I’ll have to look but in my experience with Suburbans, not a lot changed in the design especially in the rear seats since the backs of Suburbans essentially were for cargo really. I’ve taken seats out of them to move kids to school and I’ll bet for such close model years, they’re interchangeable or close enough. MOO.

I know. This could easily be mistaken as an arrest warrant for murder.

This case is far stronger than I thought it was, and I already thought it was very strong.

Have to believe they can make a case for premeditated murder-just the fact that FD drove to New Canaan that morning and went to her house (especially in a vehicle the owner didn’t expect him to drive there) almost certainly constitutes premeditation, doesn’t it?

Fotis Dulos’ attorney, Norm Pattis, sent me this statement regarding his client’s arrest. Pattis is attempting to downplay the new details that came out in the arrest warrant, but I think it’s pretty clear police are building their case towards a murder charge.

Pattis said “it sounds like the state is trying to convince itself that Fotis is responsible for Jennifer’s disappearance.”
When and if the state decides it can prove its case, we will welcome the chance to meet the case in open court,” he said. “The new warrant speaks of a lying lover and handyman with something to hide. When do we get the chance to question these folks?”

This particular statement from Pattis I find interesting.

He specifically says MT 'changed her tune" and he calls/shames her the "lying lover". Looks like Pattis has a new female to take to the whipping post (NOT defending her BTW, Nope, not possible, never!).

I very much wonder how much 'truth' FO has shared with Pattis? I personally think Pattis has zero interest in the truth as a matter of day to day business but would FO give Pattis the nonsense that he and MT wrote down as their alibi?

Was the reason Pattis was so testy today was because he read new info in the arrest warrant and details which FO had never shared with him and he was learning all this info in real time?

IMO there would be no way for Pattis investigator to get the footage that was shared in the warrant today as it was for state, town and federal sources IMO. This footage had to have been secured via warrant and no wonder they wanted it all sealed.

I think the reference in the arrest warrant to 80 MS with FO and HO tells that sad story IMO.

For weeks, “No Case Norm” has been dominating the headlines with his ridiculous statements and accusations.

In one fell swoop, the state state has changed the narrative, and brought everyone back to reality.

The reality being that this case is built on a staggering amount of evidence, despite his client’s best effort to cover his tracks.

I don’t know what they’re waiting on to file murder charges, but this case will be airtight when they do.

@MassGuy, why do you think she wasn't hit with additional charges today? The arrest warrant language on how she didn't cooperate and then lied and then changed her mind was pretty damning IMO. Also, the prearranged 'alibi notes' were absolutely stunning as well!

Wonder how No Case Norm spins this one? The picture trail is extensive and deep. And the WS theories were pretty damn close too! Incredible to see this play out in video!

I don't think this refers to her car. I have to go back to the tax records but I think there was another porsche. This was many many threads ago!

Okay. Maybe this is over analyzing. The warrant says the Toyota is shown for the last time at Lapham at 7:57 and JD arrives home at 8:05. And to paraphrase: Dulos is believed to have been lying in wait there. Would he have walked there from Lapham? I'm not familiar with the traffic layout. Surely, he would have been seen on camera? Or maybe not? And why was there much more (it seems) than just a trace of blood on the PASSENGER side of the Toyota? Seems like he would have taken care of things to where there wouldn't be so much to track into the truck? Apparently not. Seems like anything bloody would have been tossed into the bed. I guess where I'm going is....did someone (MT) drop him off at Welles? And wait for his return with JD and the Suburban? I find it odd that there was blood on the passenger side. Did he put her in the cab? Again, seems more likely in the bed. Either way, VERY risky. Maybe there was a getaway driver and the blood was transferred from FD. IDK. AND....he transferred her body at Lapham? Am I reading this all wrong? Also, MT vague on the time of FD return to 4JC but that would have been picked up by surveillance camera. I would really have to print out the warrant and highlight portions/make notes. Too much info. Reads like a murder warrant. IMO, LE is TAMPERING with FD. There is rhyme and reason. Maybe a message to MT or a way to get something on tape or written communication.

I'm sorry if this has been addressed already -- reading the new arrest affidavit it says that Gumienny went to Mountain Spring Rd on the 24th and saw FD and MT in the driveway and that Gumienny saw his keys sticking out of the passenger side lock of his Tacoma. Why didn't Gumienny just take his Tacoma then and leave the Ford Raptor with MT and FD at Mountain Spring? Instead they seem to have gone to Jefferson Crossing, then back to Mountain Spring...The affidavit says they were shuttling cars ...what cars?... Weren't the cars all there at Mountain Spring?

Also, is the implication of the warrant that JD's body was driven back up to Farmington?

Statement Analysis says that changing tenses is a huge flag that someone is lying.

Stories told from real memory are told in the past tense.

This is the first time we have seen a reference to JD cell phone.

Wonder why he kept the JD cell phone or if he disposed of it subsequent to dropping JD Suburban at Lapham Rd. But what is so facinating is that its the JD cell phone that details the drive from Welles to Lapham as FO left his cell phone at 4Jx. This also explains why there were no 'pings' for the am detailed in the first arrest warrant.

The absence of the FO cell phone on the 24th in the am (as it was sitting at 4Jx) meant that all this detective work had to be done using CCTV. Incredible work putting this together!

Warrant also confirms CCTV at JD Welles house as early MSM pictures showed.

So interesting that this arrest warrant still has some gaps which we will no doubt see in closed full with the next round of charges.

24th alibi/alternative theory was all fabricated! Wonder what this means for KM? Does this mean that he gets dragged in for false testimony on behalf of confirming an alibi for FO?

I am so curious as to what prompted today's arrest? Was this event for MT or was it to put Pattisville on notice that the ball on murder is going to drop?

The MT knowledge and participation in the crimes of hindering and tampering now look to be absolutely clear. I hope that there is NO sweetheart deal as this warrant has her with clean up items and placing them in a black plastic bag at 80 MS. Further it took 3 interviews I believe for her to finally cough up some relevant information! So much for her mother having an impact on this process of getting MT in gear! She wasted alot of LE time and resources during a critical time in the investigation IMO.

Looks like 80 MS as we were all discussing the other night is where FO did his evil work. MOD and Murder weapon not detailed in this arrest warrant that I could find. But I believe the knife story that was previously leaked to the HC to be in line with what was described to have happened at Welles.

Absolutely gobsmacked about the 'bus cam' footage as its like having 50+ cameras swarming around NC every morning and afternoon!

As much as we want MT to get fried for her part in this we may have to suck it up and accept the reality of a deal.

Even with all that magnificent video (I'm going to smile and wave into the camera of every bus I see now) LE needs a witness to weave the story together and maybe, just maybe she told more that we'll learn on the next go-round.

I think we can take a little joy in the fact that MT, the object of FD's affection may be what gets him LWOP. Her presence made Jennifer miserable and now it's doing the same for FD. Irony much?
