Why does it look like Bowman has his hand in HO's back pocket?

I respect your opinion on this situation but sadly reading through the arrest warrant commentary on the substance (or lack thereof) of the MT responses I am not at all confident that a change in her pattern of behavior will occur anytime soon.

Even as of 8/13 her statements were unclear and required much prompting and probing from LE to get anything from her. The statement she made about JD body being in the Red Truck seemed about as clear as mud IMO. Perhaps MT needs some kind of psychological exam to see if she is up to the entire process in which she finds herself as frankly she demonstrated an inability per the AW of completing a statement in a cohesive manner IMO.

The State's Atty and State Police and others I am sure worked diligently to prove out her statements only to find out she didn't tell the truth or only told half truths. Why bother if a person isn't willing to cooperate fully and be respectful of the process. Reading through the AW it appeared the most MT was able to do was look at a picture and confirm that it was FD or herself. Mmmm. Didn't sound too encouraging to me.

I would love to see a cooperative MT as an asset to the Prosecution Team and LE but despite what I am sure were the best efforts of Atty Bowman it doesn't appear that this has happened to any degree to warrant a reduction in charges via a State deal. I am also unsure that she would be able to withstand direct questioning from any atty's on the stand if she responded in any way similar to what we read in the AW.

Hugely disappointed to see nothing from MT of much value and while I totally agree that working with people in her position is a 'rough and rocky road', there was zero in the AW that left me at all optimistic that Bowman has had any impact on his client. In fact the Bowman demeanor leaving the 2nd arrest booking in BPT today looked uncharacteristically grim for him IMO. I am not at all encouraged that MT has the capacity or willingness to assist the State's efforts. Hugely sad that this is not the case and I sincerely hope I am WRONG!

I know lawyers sometimes unfairly get painted with the same brush as their clients, but NP seems to WANT that. If he has been in therapy, as he supposedly has claimed, he should demand a refund cause the dude has got major issues. Maybe he got hoodwinked by Dr. "FD Is Not A Psychopath" Dollars like his client.

As for FD, IMO he is eating up the media attention like all malignant narcissists do, and will continue to do so until the mouse trap closes. Pre-indictment Ted Bundy truly enjoyed being in the spotlight, sparring with LE, taunting the State to indict him (again, sound familiar?). After he was charged, his true nature emerged. He once snarled like an animal during trial and it was truly transformative. Many still believe his fate was sealed by his own post-crime conduct, when the veneer of handsome law student was stripped away. I suspect we will see a completely different side of Mr. Dulos when the State presents its case at trial.

YW! He is a pompous blowhard with his grand theatrics. BBM - totally agree with this. I see a dark side in his interviews and pictures. It's in the eyes. Cold and calculating, IMO. I recall an interview of one of their friends (Ronna?). She said FD had a short temper and she had seen him snap. I would bet many have seen through his facade. MOO.

What was the reason MT turned herself in, only to be let out on bond?

I think that since MT is now a “cooperative witness” she is granted certain courtesies. One such courtesy is that she and her attorneys are given notice prior to any further arrests/ charges so that she can come in privately with her attorneys and post bail.
(No surprises/ no media circus)
The courtesy means she won’t be surprised/arrested unknowingly which would be more humiliating and stressful. Also helpful if she is attempting to keep any type of custody of / contact with her minor daughter

She needs to "spill it"...she is an accomplice to MURDER and she knows it! She was part of the plan, part of the "alibi" papers, in the car when FoDumbo was dropping bags of evidence, at the car wash with him getting the truck cleaned; picking him up and then going back to clean up the house. I think MT thinks there is some way she can waltz out of this entire disaster without any prison time. And that isn’t going to be. I definitely think she believes she is successfully negotiating such a thing, and the State simply hasn’t brought their best offer to the table. If she knows where Jennifer ended up, she is withholding that information for a “no prison” deal, and the State isn’t going for it. My guess is that Bowman is doing his best and telling her to pony up everything, but she won’t do it. Maybe her parents are telling her to hold out for a “no prison” deal, that won’t be forthcoming. She is in way, way too deep for that.

Agreed. How can this mother not feel any compassion for her paramour's WIFE'S children's MOTHER? I just don't get it. These were kids she was trying to stepmother - no compassion for them, for their real mother, for the mother of this woman? She is a daughter, a mom - where is her heart? Ice cold. Has FD wiped the smirk off his face today? I am baffled by his grinning yesterday. And Norm - ugh Norm. He releases these pompous high faulting' statements like he is defending freedom fighters and noble innocent martyrs, when in reality he ia a 2-but ambiance chasing representing the lowest scum murderers, con artists and scumbags.
