JD's house had security cameras.
they even seem to cover the driveway in front of the garage.
was anything ever said about them?

Not that we have read or seen in the AWs that I am aware of. Security and possible cameras at Welles have been a much discussed topic but sadly next to no information. It was not even clear whether the security system was activated on the 24th/missing date. Will have to wait for further info from LE on this topic. MOO

IMO this point you bring up is so so impt! We have seen Pattis and Rochlin repeat a subjective opinion about a report and make these comments in open court and also to the Press. Dave Alimari of the HC repeated these comments about the psych report almost verbatim to what Pattis said in court and so the public perception of FD behavior might have been shifted.

FD has a multi year history as a human being, father and husband that is very well documented IMO in Family Court documents for anyone that cares to take some time to read up. The issue is that most people won't take the time and so these carefully designed 'comments' and 'opinions' of Pattis and Rochlin make it into the public domain via people like Dave Alimari and the HC and then PRESTO we have people thinking that FD is someone very different from who is actually is.

My concern is that now with the gag order that we might see a shift to Pattis/Rochlin/Murray taking their PR campaign to the one place they can speak freely which is court. Its not just the 'open mike time' in court that is an issue as Pattisville can accomplish the same thing via motions filed in court IMO. For an example of this simply look at the recent motion to again bring up JD medical records. Pattisville knew that the motion would be made public and so they were able to accomplish with that motion IMO what they were not able to do now with the gag order which is bring further speculation to the public domain about JD. IMO this pattern of behavior by Pattis is cynical and has zero to do with getting a fair trial or seeking justice etc. I just hope Judge Blawie sees through these bush league tactics and shuts down the Pattisville circus as the tactics are absolutely transparent!

It was helpful to listen to the Pattis 'performance' in court again as it made clear to me that the comments from Pattis were for public press consumption rather than much of anything having to do with his dialog with the Judge.

I guess that Judge Blawie will just have to watch out for this obvious maneuvering of Pattisville folks around the gag order via using their 'air time' in court. Maybe cameras in the courtroom will be the next to go in the Judge Blawie courtroom if Pattisville continues to take their PR campaign to the airwaves via courtroom commentary. IDK. But its an issue and I just hope that Judge Blawie is on top of the situation as its concerning.

I completely understand the unfairness of making JD look unstable, suicidal. Team Pattis only has this, and they show their strategy this early. What we don't have is the strategy the prosecution is going to use to annihilate the Defenses case. Gone girl theory? Revenge suicide? I have all the faith in the facts, the court documents, LE evidence. FOOL DO is going down, better run now!

i'm someone who used to jog/run in years past and so looking at those monitors i could see how they might move up and down on the ankle during a jog/run and be uncomfortable. if they actually do move up and down during exercise question i have is given the presumption of innocence do these style monitors adversely burden the accused? i can relate to either yes/no as an answer. FD supposedly thinks a monitor on his wrist would be better. i think those would also be an issue during exercise. i use to wear a somewhat lose fitting watch during jogs and that thing would move up and down the wrist and it had nowhere near the mass/weight of a wrist monitor. too bad the state can not just implant a gps monitor chip in the his back.

suspect that a person with a monitor has to actually sit somewhat still while recharging it. not sure if there is an extension cord. imagine that FD might not like that.

He may have removed them from her car or purse. We know she had 2 appointments in the city that day, and she may have been taking them with her- in purse, tote, briefcase? I know when mine were little, in making lunches and packing my things up, I would often put my case, school needs etc, in the car the night before, so I wouldn’t be bothered with it in the morning. With 5 other people to feed, help dress, and get out the door, I’m betting she did an awful lot the night before, while they were asleep.
I know we’ve discussed JDs phone, but I don’t recall hearing anything about her purse.

do we know what happened to JD's phone? would FD have had an opportunity to review information on it?

Oh, this is good! I've got to believe that his monitoring device is on "Active" tracking mode. In which case, any infraction is reported immediately.

So...my question is what is the penalty for an infraction? FD has had 4, so maybe he was warned 3 times and the 4th is a hearing before a Judge? I'm just surprised that the court's time has to be tied up with a housekeeping issue like this, which is so administrative/rudimentary IMO. I guess we'll find out tomorrow! I've gotta believe that it's more than the judge explaining how to charge the battery at the same time everyday for one hour, right? Hopefully, a probational consequence and not just a warning.

I found this article in "The Middletown Press." Clearly explains the monitoring process, so I guess they deemed the infractions important enough to set a court date vs. wait until the next scheduled court date, which is October 4th. Got it.

IMO with this case we are in a jam as it relates to some of the timeline 'facts' due to the Pattisville comments and 'alibi scripts'. The Family Court situation and information isn't IMO as compromised as the FD/MT timeline issues and ditto for the Civil Court case.

A summary 'document' with article cititation would probably serve us well at this point. I simply haven't had the time to undertake that task as I have been doing something similar for the timeline and it takes alot of time to do. Once I'm finished with the draft timeline I will post it and people can comment etc.

We have been lucky that social media 'creep' hasn't hit us very hard on this thread and so we haven't had that issue to contend with so far. But detangling the 'alibi scripts' from our collective understanding of what might have happened is complicated IMO.

Yes, the last time this open house was posted I wanted put the trailer on the back of the truck and pull up with a View attachment 205787

which is a very impressive piece of equipment IMO and excavate the entire front yard and upper drive area which was not complete as of the missing date, the back cement patio and stone patio portion that extends out into the rear yard. This would put all our many questions to rest on Sturbridge.

Somehow though I thought NCPD might have an issue with that happening but that hasn't stopped me from wishing I could do it!

The first and only mention of JD phone is in AW2 so far as I know. We do not know if JD phone was ever recovered or what/if anything LE obtained about the JD cell phone via subpoena as part of the investigation.

The AW2 states that JD phone moved from Welles to Lapham Rd.

Was watching a real crime show recently and
the subject of blood spatter came up with a
forensic scientist explaining how well LE can
usually determine the type of weapon and even
the positioning of the perp and victim by analyzing the angle of individual blood spatters.
Here's an article that describes a little about
the 3 types of spatter which help in determining the velocity of the spatter and which type weapon was probably used.

and what actually took place and weapon used
is now known by LE. Those blanks are already

Per Chicago54's post (which I had quoted) I took for granted that it had been established that he wasn't allowed to have the children at his home.

ETA: According to the media, he was apparently allowed to see them every other weekend in addition to the Wednesdays and also would have seen them the very next day:
"Most recently he was spending time with them on Wednesdays and every other weekend and he was scheduled to see them on Memorial Day weekend, just one day after Jennifer was reported missing."

Yes! Seems like WS needs to have a backhoe available for its members to deploy in cases across the US! Its hard to watch passively and wait for LE to conduct their investigations! But in the case of JD I do have confidence tht CT State Police/NCPD/FBI etc. are committed and continue to work diligently to put the puzzle together. MOO

Hmmm. (Confused face here.) I've read these several times, and did again, and don't see any reference to visitation in either of these documents - did you quote my post about visitation by accident?

We have been going in circles on the phone issue due to lack of clarity IMO in the AWs. I am not sure if we know whether FD has 2 phones personally or if one of the 2 phones mentioned in the AW is used by MT? Or, does FD have 2 phones and MT has one phone? Pattis in court refers to 2 phones for FD so I am assuming from that stmt that FD has 2 phones. But, I have to admit to then being confused on the issue still after reading the AWs.

Page 36 of AW2 refers to MT's cellphone being on her at the car wash on 5/29. It specifies it's her phone, not just a phone.

Edit: removed info (to limit confusion) about FD calling MT re: EE's truck on 5/24 - FD still had his phone (thanks for the reminder, @sleuth66).

You're right on, IMO, about a file to be taken with you to a Dr.'s appointment. It would be very interesting to know if any of JD's friends know if that was something she did regularly. And, LE has probably already interviewed those friends who may have been concerned about her health and weight loss as they were certainly aware that she had appointments in NYC.

Yes, it appears that the 'poor' FD has to sit and charge up for 2 hrs. - bracelet has a runtime I believe of 30 hrs before it needs to be recharged.

If he were pressed for ideas of how to spend these 2 hrs some great suggestions were made the other night which had promise:

• guided mediation session to reduce the amt of time spent on revenge fantasies,
• positive affirmation session to improve the 'energy' in his life,
• writing apology letters to his children for what he has put them through and explaining why he felt it necessary to contribute $0 to their health and well being over the past 2 years,
• writing a letter to his children to explain why he and his legal team have spent the past 3+ months disparaging their mother to the worldwide press,
• writing out check to GF for back rent/mortgage payments on 4Jx since he stopped paying what he owes,
• writing out a check to GAL Meehan for $64,000 for fees owed,
• writing out another check to GF to settle the civil lawsuit - life is just too short to spend it in such an unproductive manner IMO!
• repeating over and over and over, "I will not lie, I will not lie, I will not lie"... Perhaps a sustained practice of personal development during the 2 hr charging time will pay benefits over time, you never know!
• flip open the bible or religious text of your choice - wide range of options here and you can even mix it up! Latin version of Old Testament is a personal fave and highly recommended during times of great personal stress!
• When all else fails flip on a cooking or travel show! Rick Stein's or Ottolenghi's travels around the Med might just do the trick for now as travels back to Greece are unlikely in the near future!

It was thought that the following activities would not be productive:

• watching Django Unchained or any violent movies on rewind - nope, just put down that remote!
• reading the Art of War for the 100th time - won't help you now!
• reading more Byzantine history - ditto for Greek history and Roman as well (no more fuel needed for revenge fantasies. Nope, not needed!)

Speaking about FD's phones:
Page 36 of AW2 refers to MT's cellphone being on her at the car wash. It specifies it's her phone, not just a phone. Plus when FD called her to return EE's truck, she had to have had a phone.

Per AW2, FD contacted MT to get EE's red truck back when she took off with EE's truck. This was after his phone was obtained by police and presumably still had it as evidence (anyone know?).

It doesn't specify that they were standing outside when he called her; I assume that part as it said they'd just returned and EE noticed his truck gone.

With which phone did he call MT?

The call between FD and MT about EEs key took place on 5/24, the afternoon of the day JD disappeared. FD gave his phone to NCPd on 5/25 at 2:47pm, the next day. So they both still had their phones.
