It is both...especially unclassy, almost trying to create a "joke" in a very serious situation.

MT volunteered to LE the sexual encounters as part of her alibi scenario with FD. She thought it was appropriate and "logical" that she would tell police that she and FD were having sex in the shower the morning JFD was murdered even though it was a lie. (which she later admitted was a lie...)

Then, she says that she and FD were doing the Patagonia Hula against the Tacoma when PG arrived at 80 Mountain Spring that afternoon. Lie or not, the fact that she uses sexual behavior to detract from the LE interview really speaks to her true nature. Obviously, she didn't think JFD being missing was important or concerning. MOO...IMO

I think you are right about MT-she does use sex to distract; I think it is likely that it is the main tool in her bag of tricks, as well. Some women seem to do this when they are in trouble, and even when they are not. I’m sure she said it (twice) so that whoever she was speaking to stopped looking at her as a conspiritor to murder, and started to see her as a sex goddess. Some men can be led in that way, but apparently this time it didn’t work.

The State's response to MT's motion was golden and no doubt her motion will be denied.

The State essentially slammed MT for not only for seeking a decision on a hearing that has never happened (request of March 17 during the pandemic) but also for her disrespect of court procedure by linking youtube (can't be verified) instead of her court hearing transcript!

They further reminded MT that she's not incarcerated and does not get preferential treatment over inmates that ARE incarcerated-- waiting their turn for a bond hearing.

But the appellate court does not have the authority to do that, Weller says.
In a motion filed Monday, Sr Assistant State's Attorney Weller argues that a similar motion for modification was not yet heard due to Gov.Lamont suspending court appearances because of the coronavirus pandemic. that hearing should be heard before a new one, Weller argues, and Troconis' next court hearing already is scheduled for Aug. 6.

Attorney Weller seems like he has a firm grasp of this case, and the obvious attempt by the entitled MT and her publicity-seeking attorney to bring attention to poor MT's suffering. The motion makes clear that MT's plight does not compare to those of inmates seeking relief from prison.

Wrong court....jumping to the front of the line...mentioning items (like moving the trial to Hartford) that aren't relevant ...using YouTube videos as "evidence"....Maybe MT needs to invest in a different attorney.

Overall, I am impressed with Attorney Weller's first step into this case.

You thought this was some kind of game, but now it looks like you drew the Sorry card and you’re back to square one- a total rehash of your alleged (and “heinous- conspiracy to murder the mother of 5 children”) crimes in clear and concise detail in the state’s response is now condensed and compiled on record, laid out for all to see and back in the news again.

Along with a couple of pages detailing the incompetence of your legal representation (submitting YouTube videos in place of court transcripts? Does JS fancy himself the new NP? Not...) and your self-centered arrogance (“asking to skip ahead of all other defendants in line ahead of you, many of whom are indigent and incarcerated.” After you just filed a motion to get your lemon squeezer back? Don’t you know the saying about “when life gives you lemons...?”)

Did JS think this would be a good way for you to redeem yourself and take control of the narrative now that FD’s not around anymore? Did he think it would be a way to lure additional evidence the state has on you out of hiding in a clumsy rebuttal (à la NP and the DNA on the sink?)

If so, it looks like it backfired. Maybe you need to go back to Bowman and zip the lips (and the IG account) as you nurse your delicate ankle skin while waiting your turn in line for your day in court.
Just keep up playing this game, and chances are the next card you’re gonna draw will be Do Not Pass Go (and no $200 either).

*Michelle C. Tronconis (44/now 45) – Had pretrial hearing on 8/6/20.
*Fotis Dulos (52) – Committed suicide on 1/28/20 & declared dead at 5:32pm on 1/30/20. 3/3/20: Charges dismissed. The case against Dulos will be officially dismissed in about a year, unless the state decides to reopen it.
