I believe the Troconis clan does NOT like the camera pointed at MT. I believe they might have been watching the live courtroom feed, and at the end of court today they decided it would be in their best interest to confront the camera person.

I believe that a scuffle ensued, or words were said...

Just a note for the Troconis clan ( if they read here )
Perhaps you might want to suggest building a wall of boxes for Michi to hide behind. ( aka Darrell Brooks ) The cameras can't see her then.

Jury leaves the Courtroom around 7:02:05. Immediately after, MT's expression changes to one of hate/anger as she watches LA step down from the witness box, cross between the defense and prosecution tables, and walk through back of Courtroom (through about 7:02:35).

Oh jeez, this didn't even occur to me while listening earlier, I just thought the ME always relied on the signs of massive blood loss... Are the trial photos available online anywhere currently?
4:45 and following, a close up of an "item", a specimen, scraped and returned to the medical examiner...

This was THE MOTHER OF HIS CHILDREN.

He was an absolutely unboundaried maniac.

I wonder if FD's suicide will reach the jurors' ears. Definitely prejudicial, arguably not unnecessarily prejudicial... but in other trials, I don't think the guilt/conviction/sentencing of co-murders can't be entered into other defendants' trials.

I hope it comes in. It is all but a confession --

JS is representing that the State's example are family arguments, no violence. Typical of any divorce.

JS is raising JFd's attempt to get a restraining order and that's why those allegations were made and it was denied.

JS wants the rulings brought in then.

Did he just say there's no reason that, two years after something something, why would FD do away with his wife?

Oh boy, now JS is saying FD was the better parent, JFd was not in support of joint custody... and now he wants her medical records....

I can't keep up with him.

I think I'm lost in the reeds with him

JMOJMOJMO

well, isn't the BS he's spouting also a viable motive?
I get the outrage for the memory of Jennifer, and I know his characterizations are cruel and absurd.
But I don't get the strategy. Don't we murder people we don't like more often than people we do like? It feels like JS is just making her murder sound more likely by BSing into existence a motive.

MOO

Wowzer - watch the last look on MT when the court wraps up - I believe her gaze is following Lauren out of the courtroom. It is a look of pure evil directed towards Lauren. Does she have absolutely no self control ? JMO
I haven't followed this case. But how can this woman be angry and feel hard-done-by when she is alive and in contrast JFD was murdered and the Dulos children lost their mother? Has she always come across as having this attitude?

Yes. Take a look at her social media, if you can stomach it (flying monkeys, too—MOO, particularly on X.) Also, MTs access and influence on JFD’s children (and court order prohibiting her contact) was a huge issue throughout this harrowing case.

OUCH.

The accused should be ashamed for putting her elderly parents through this trauma. One day soon, it could become too much for them to bear and they'll stay home. Tomorrow may be that day after hearing LA's testimony.

I suppose the D children know their Nanny is testifying and that thought shatters me. They're fortunate to be surrounded by those who have their best interests at heart. Still it can't be easy for them. They probably can't remember the sound of their mother's voice as she read stories to them. They may not remember the sound of her laughter; the smell of her hair. But, may they always know their mother's pure love and carry it with them always.

1/16/24 Tuesday, Trial Day 3: Re presumptive testing arguments. Schoenhorn is arguing that this has zero evidentiary value & highly prejudicial, especially in regard to JFd's Suburban. State arguing that the witness will testify about presumptive tests and the jury can make determination of weight. Court will allow the testimony. Defense, he says, has wide latitude on cross examination.
State's witnesses: Retired state police detective Matthew Reilly, evidence officer at the scene back on stand. Lauren Almeida, the nanny for the five Dulos children. Will continued on stand tomorrow

I noticed the other day that one of the sisters was videoing the photographers on her phone, when they were all walking into court.

Was there an interpreter available for MT to understand the "words" that were exchanged so she could understand the gravity of the situation and respond in a timely manner? Oh, dear.
