TP has no alternative theory for MT so far beyond what he started with was that MT knew nothing about what was going on on Albany or with anything that happened related to murder.

He also hasn’t put on his defense yet and the State hasn’t tipped its hand yet as to evidence specific to MT but it’s getting there shortly imo as the MT time line is looking like Swiss cheese.

TP started with simple denial of any crime (didn’t happen) and moved on to JF simply disappeared or got on metro north to escape her life. Denial of crime now seems implausible given the facts and JF disappearing seems impossible due to blood loss. He is left with MT having no knowledge and no participation. This last one should be off the table for him shortly based on what I expect the state has up its sleeve. My guess then is that the MT alibi will be shredded and the true extent of her participation outlined in complete and no doubt gory detail. Further the hindering and tampering charges will be detailed and the extent of the lying laid bare on top of the participation.

Early evidence presented including bloody shirt and bra along with Welles garage blood and trajectory evidence made the early defence statement’s implausible.

So now it seems like the Troconis family statement has evolved and is saying that this murder of JF was a tragedy for both families but that Michi had nothing to do with what happened etc. and is innocent. Right….

Whoever used the word surreal the other day picked a good word to describe what is playing out now with MT and her family along with her defence. Well, it’s good to know they are paying attention and seeing the same live stream we all are seeing! It seems that MT lied no only to herself and police but to her family as well! Oops…..

We have the Troconis family whose daughter and sister first chose to not assist in finding JF, didn’t help law enforcement with its investigation but instead hindered and obstructed, didn’t acknowledge the JF disappearance or its impact on JF children or family, didnt acknowledge JF as a victim and essentially claimed no knowledge of anything related to the murder of JF including questioning trial references to FD which seemed confusing to them. How many times have we heard TP say, “that has nothing to do with my client”…. Right.

Well, state I think is going to spend a few days or possibly a week showing precisely what MT was up to after first proving the murder happened and detail the intimate connection between FD and MT and how it led to the murder of JF along with an attempted cover up of the act.

We shall no doubt be treated to language challenges by MT, possibly even talk about how she isn’t too smart or was simply too trusting etc as her family says etc., to she had no understanding of what was going on around her as FD gave her task after task.it will be painful to listen to because it too most likely is a lie. The one thing MT seems to do well is lie, lie again and keep on lying.

My guess is that after this next stage plays out that Mama troconis will be sitting in the gallery kicking herself that she ever booted atty bowman who most likely would have quietly and efficiently gotten MT some kind of plea deal with minimal time served.

Instead, doing what she did with her legal strategy imo she essentially dared the state to “bring the evidence”. The state is doing precisely that and is still working through the murder plan and execution and then will next tie MT inextricably to it as a key component.

There was so much blood in Welles garage that there will be no doubt of victim death. None. So the strategy of claiming no victim and no crime simply was stupid iimo on so many levels and impacted perception of MT with the jury and the public. TP knew this but did it anyway and wasted so much time fighting it too.

Imo eventually cue up the video evidence against MT and the good old fashioned police work showing the evidence and tracking down the lack of alibi. The forensic evidence will imo be icing on the cake of the horrific story of how MT participated in this horrific crime and it’s cover up.

Replying to my own post because there is something written in red on the back cover of that paperback book. I've played around with sharpness, brightness, contrast, and color saturation to see if I can make it out.

Curious if others see the same letters that I think I see.

In one of her police interviews she was told that FD was a liar. He lied to his first wife, he lied to Jennifer and he lies to you.
She appeared astounded when they told her he was texting Jennifer because he wanted to get back with her.
At that time she blurted out( against her attorneys admonition) that he told her JFD had a Borderline Personality Disorder. And she believed it.

Yes, the MT interest and questioning about the FD texts to JF to get back together again was about the only thing she was interested in as you say! Helping find JF, asking how Dulos children were or anything else related to empathy, caring or compassion? NOPE, NOPE and NOPE! MT was all over asking police twice about the FD/JF texts. She also admitted to police, "...we fight all the time..." so all was not well in paradise and I do wonder how early in all of this that FD reconnected with Anna Curry?

We've only seen snippets of the interviews but what I recall hitting me the first couple times they were viewed was MT absolute disinterest in offering up any help and almost annoyance when police asked about JF. I couldn't put my finger on it initially but I do think MT has a great sense of entitlement and was angered that she was being questioned about her involvement in the crime. There is a disconnect in the MT wiring I think as it relates to empathy of any sort but to then see a lack of acknowledgement of JF (or even the children who she well knew) from MT is something that to me at least put her firmly into the "EVIL" category. MT in those interviews was annoyed. She was irritated about being there, irritated that she thought the police weren't listening to her and catering to her and irritated that she wasn't the focus of attention and that all eyes were on JF. The vibe from MT sometimes seemed to simply be, ".why are you bothering me with this...".

Every time I watch those interviews and think about what might have made sense to see from MT vs what was actually seen, it stuns me. MT seems disconnected from the reality that consequences are inevitable for bad acts and poor choices and that people were connected to plan to murder JF. She simply didn't seem to care about anyone other than herself. It always stuns me to the see the destructive power of two narcissists but I do think its what might have been at play with this horrific crime. MT simply doesn't have the capacity to care about anyone other than herself and her comforts. Stunning stuff imo to watch it play out in the interviews.

I always am amused when a couple that got together via cheating is then outraged that their cheating partner cheats on them! Always seems to happen and I simply never get why folks are surprised as usually the patterns go way back with the cheating partner.

Curious though as to when FD chose to 'reconnect' with Anna Curry. MT seemed fixated on JF as he needed her money but my guess is that FD was reestablishing the Anna Curry connection right under MT nose. MT by all accounts watched FD like a hawk so all the commentary about not knowing where FD is/was etc. simply imo doesn't ring true. Both MT and FD seemed to be chronic texters so perhaps we will see the text trail in the days following the murder.

I’m wondering where are FD’s bloody clothes? There’s no way he wasn’t saturated. Were they in the bags that were already picked up and burned or did they find them at MIRA? Along with J’s pants etc.? Paper towels? I doubt that’s all with the body as his DNA would be on it and he’d want them separated.

Possibly burned his clothing? IMO they both probably showered at MS. I'm curious if photos of MT clothing through the day has been captured too. I see multiple changes of clothing and GOD KNOWS what those ponchos were used for too! MT knows imo and knows IT ALL!

What I continually can't understand is how the man continued to snow people into believing in him? If he was willing to plot JFD's death, why would you think you were safe with him? Or, more so, why would you think your daughter was safe with him? Why would anyone post his bond and move into that house with him?

MT knew what he was capable of and helped by answering the phone, helping to clean up, and discarding things. Why not take the first chance to jump ship? He had clearly not succeeded in doing the murder and disappearance in a way that he would get away with it. Then, he brings evidence and, possibly, Jennifer back to their neck of the woods. I just don't understand her thinking.

Yep, denial is one powerful coping tool as is shown in the MT interviews!

Thing though with MT is that she simply never cared about anyone other than herself and I'm sure this will come through loud and clear in the full interviews. She didn't ask about Dulos children or frankly much of anything in the interviews.

She effectively tries to deflect and refocus when asked questions and her conversation attempts always attempt to mislead and misdirect. I can only imagine what LE thought they were dealing with when listening to her and watching her dramatics. Its always amusing to see a female in particular attempt to use drama and emotion on a group of men for their own purposes. LE was hilarious in that no matter what the MT histrionics they didn't blink and just kept staring at her. Stunning stuff to watch her games play out with the men and it took her awhile to see it had zero impact. The Atty Bowman body language too was classic and this is not his first rodeo and he knew what was going on.

Can't wait to see entire series play out and with no objection allowed for MT language issues supposedly.

Watching and listening to MT in even the clips we've seen, I'm questioning whether she has any fundamental understanding of truth as her statements always seem to be about what is convenient to her rather than what is reality. But, its her instinctive pattern of chronically lying that imo is also deeply disturbing as is her feeble attempt to blame JF for being responsible for her own murder as if JF somehow deserved to be murdered! Its unconscionable imo and pure EVIL in action from MT.

I've been thinking about that, too. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion he doesn't know what he is doing, as some observers note.

He could tick off this jury with the constant objections, but maybe he has ready written this jury off, and he's playing the long game ---setting up the appeal.

I want conviction and justice. But Troconis is entitled to a vigorous defense. And JS may be delivering it very competently.

The defence has imo passed the point of no return on their ability to deny the murder took place I think with the Mount Everest of evidence presented first to prove the murder and second/next to prove the conspiracy and hindering.

The weak strategy (denial) Defence entered the Courtroom with cannot seem plausible to the jury now and TP hasn't been screaming so much about why FD has anything to do with the case against his client either recently which can't be lost on the jury as well!

The issue about the continued references in the DNA and blood presentation when TP said, "my client wasn't there" is that the jury got used to hearing that stmt and so not hearing it as we move forward will be huge imo to their understanding of the MT integral role in the murder.

As this continues with the evidence presentation I'm not sure he will be able to make such claims about his client "Not being There" and it will be all the more noticeable to the jury imo as he was continuously yelling about his clients DNA not being at Welles. Perhaps this was important for some other aspect of his case that is above my pay grade of understanding so we shall see. But, we still don't know if MT was in NC on the murder date either. No GPS or vehicle computer data has been presented and the NCPS bus cam footage hasn't been viewed either.

I mean who can argue with the JF tee shirt drenched in blood and those black bags which were DRIPPING WITH BLOOD! So much blood that it covered the bag contents and was dripping out onto the brown paper put down by law enforcement.

So much more to the story of this tragedy to play out in court for the jury.
