Yes and OW proclaims his innocence and the miscarriage of justice but the only ones miscarrying the facts are the BC's- maybe that is because she is so close to the done deed and in the know that she can say he is innocent.

I wonder if we will ever really know what the timeline in that house was on that Friday morning ...

The murder suspect is clearly an unreliable witness on that score. Is there any proof that he even did drive around that morning at all? I certainly wouldn't take his word for it.

As for the loyal sister and all her bizarre behaviors - all I can think of is that maybe there was some sort of weird, scout-like pact/promise made in childhood to always cover for each other no matter what. Who knows.

I wonder when we'll see TM's 5th statement to police -

http://m.couriermail.com.au/news/qu...-of-wife-allison/story-e6freoof-1226600463908

He said detectives had to issue a warning to Ms McHugh before she gave her fifth statement after discovering she had earlier "failed to disclose" a phone call with Baden-Clay.

"She told us she had not had any contact with Gerard Baden-Clay and we were aware that that was untrue," he said.

Mr Davis asked how police were aware of the phone call.

"I'm not really sure how to answer that ... covert technology," Det Sgt Roddick said.

Det Sgt Roddick denied giving Baden-Clay any instructions to stay away from the ground search in case he stumbled upon a crime scene.

"It wasn't given to him by me and I'm not aware of that direction given to him per se," he said.

Personally I felt that TM's performance on the witness stand could have all been an act. I realize by all the reports she appeared very distressed and said things like 'I loved him' etc etc, but she also managed to plant many incriminating seeds against him. I believe she would have loved him up until the QPS dropped the clanger of the affairs.
The defence I think would have been expecting her to play the woman scorned bit but instead she played it just the opposite as being naive and gullible, perhaps she was advised to play this role by clever legal advice imo.
Also the fact she lied to the police over contact with GBC proves she is not concerned about being untruthful unless caught. To lie in such a serious situation as Allison's disappearance, especially to myself, shows a ruthless side.

GBC phoned Allison's mobile at;

6:32am

6:38am

6:45am

The above three calls originated from Brookfield.

At 6:46am GBC phoned EBC. That call originated from Mt. Coot-tha.

GBC then called the following numbers, all calls originating from Brookfield.

6:53am Unknown number, although it may have been Nigelaine's landline.

How is it possible to be at Brookfield at 6.45 then Mt Coot-tha one minute later?

I was wondering if anyone here works in real estate? Is it common to take a vacuum cleaner to a property for the reason NBC supposedly needed it? Seems very strange to me.

I wondered if it was normal to keep it under the house too. The police transcript indicates that is where Nige took it from.

The early morning timings of phone calls is all a set up. I believe NBC has been at the murder scene all night, from shortly after she was killed, plotting and planning with GBC as to what to say, do, timing, etc. GBC would not have moved one finger after the fact, without consulting Daddy Dearest. He is not smart enough to try and make it all appear normal without help, before calling 000. I believe GBC drove away with ABCs phone to make it look like she had taken her phone with her for a walk (and subsequently abducted by a stranger, which in my view was the first thing they tried to make everybody believe). Then NBC, from GBCs house and using GBCs phone called Allison's phone at 6:31. GBC then connected ABCs phone to the internet immediately after believing it would do 2 things: record where it was pinging (FTP) and also run the battery down quicker. Then he disposed of the phone somewhere on his way back home (the phone records would only show the first tower it pingged to) and return home to wait and wait until it was time to call 000. OW was then called to take kids to school while he and NBC waited for police. IMO.

First comment, lurking since case began!

Just read through GBC's first interview and got chills as he was talking about how he cut his hand changing a lightbulb at a property he was renovating. I knew GBC & ABC through friends (they were good friends with our good friends) but only met them a couple of times. I also met Toni as she was going to sell our house in 2010 but we pulled out. I hadn't seen GBC for a couple of years until I was interested in the house he was talking about in this interview. I booked to have a look around and went with my friend (hubby at work) probably a month before Allison went missing. I found him very odd at the time. He flirted with me, whilst asking about my husband and two kids and I said to him "wow, how do you remember their names? Do you keep a database or something, haha??" And he said it's his job to remember. He was quite flirty (which i did not like) and said the owners of the property were his friends, he went camping with them, even camped on the property. He said they had renovated extensively, but he never mentioned that he had helped in anyway. He said they'd had their kitchen done etc etc but no mention of "oh I helped them with...blah blah...last weekend" or anything.

When I got home, I said to my hubby how strange he was and I said he'd lost a lot of weight (and sorry to the males reading this) and I thought normally men only lost considerable weight midlife if they were having an affair! I know that's mean but he just gave off a leery vibe and gave me the heebeegeebees, even though I sort of knew him.

Apologies for the long comment with little info but I've always found it interesting to hear from people who "know" him so thought it might be of interest. Will go back to lurking now and thank of of the real websleuths on here!

All the urgency...when Allison was only a few minutes late...and given they had an agrument the night before...she hated excersice...so der is she going to go walking,,,with a new hairdo...when she hated excercise...I have asked before if anyone knows which Gym she sopossedly met up with TM....'' What gym????:

Far to late to come up with better senarios GBC...case closed...:jail:
Workout Indooroopilly. Just down the road from me.

I have a vacuum cleaner downstairs in my garage that I only use for my cars.

Wow, an earlier poster commented on ow's interview where she pointed to her head and said he gbc had fallen over as if to explain facial injuries- I feel that is certainly significant

That's what I thought initially but according to G's statement, OW's kids were coming there. That was my understanding of it.

Thanks for pointing that out BJSleuth.

has me stumped too, strange.. Dont know why either the constables or the next responders, the Sen Sgts didnt ask Nige what time he arrived at Allisons place.. I know that Sen Sgt Jackson told Nige to stop loading stuff from the house into his car, and to not leave the premises..

and that bit was odd, too. because when Jackson says this, Gerard steps in and says .....'um.. dad.... that alright with you?? '... like as if Nige has a choice..

Dont know if the Third Responders, the detectives posed the question. . .

They probably wanted to, but haven't he and Elaine declined to give a statement? Not sure, thought I read it somewhere.

Or he owes her money and she's desperately hoping beyond hope to get it back.

Cst Ash arrived at 7:30? So after calling the police at 7:15, G didn't try to call her again until 7:35? You would keep trying. Even if he wasn't. Allowed join the search, he could have called. Where were the calls to Allison's friends first to see if she was with them? Doesn't call her siblings or parents to see if they might know anything? His 'efforts' were nothing more than a red Herring IMO

BRLLIANT!!>.. love it, Kmore.. so Gerards charm didnt have universal appeal..... its terrific to hear from women who saw him as 'leery vibed'... Gerard has been coasting for too long on what I am convinced is his very low strike rate, = chat up thousands, get a few hits.

Davis may have in mind to point the finger at TM now, but there is nothing pointing to her, not even the fact that she forgot to mention something to QPS. He will not succeed with that, not even increase the chance of reasonable doubt IMO. She is just a woman infatuated with GBC, who cannot let go, even after he is a suspect in his wife's murder. She is his little puppy, still, after being kicked, running back to him (but now separated by glass and bars). I have no doubts that she has nothing to do with the murder or the cover up. IMO.

From what I can gather, TM is quite a wreck and is still in denial on so many fronts. From the descriptions of her in the courtroom, I believe she is still in love with gbc and we all know that love can indeed be blind. She gave the police four statements but lied during the 5th by not disclosing her recent contact with the accused. I truly fear for her welfare and state of mental health as she must have been under extreme pressure in the past ten months or so, and it is ongoing. It would be even more extreme now that the defence appear to have changed tack from the "suicide theory" to the "untruthful mistress" theory. I wonder if TM, her vehicle or apartment underwent any forensic examinations? MOO.
