I can't really fathom how/when she got them on him.
Since it appears she was there until after 10pm, my guess is they did many things together, including bondage with the zipties. She might have marketed herself as an "officer experience" given she had a security guard uniform.

Being that he was stabbed in the back (wasn't he?) and so many times, and the finger/hand cuffs, I can't buy the self defense at all.

She got him all over his body, front and back. :(
Could have been during a big struggle when David may have been trying to stop her from escaping with his money, then while David was lying defenceless on the ground.

1. Stab wound to the left side of his chest, approximately 4 inches deep, that went through his heart;
2. Stab wound to his right abdomen, approximately 3 inches deep that hit his liver;
3. Stab wound to the right groin, approximately 3 inches deep;
4. Stab wound to the right upper arm in the shoulder region, approximately 2-3 inches deep;
5. Stab wound to the upper left back;
6. Stab wound to the mid-back area, almost 5 inches in depth, that hit a bone of the spinal column, fractured that bone, and pierced the pleural cavity;
7. Stab wound to the right shank, approximately 3 inches in depth.

The decedent also suffered numerous incised wounds to his left hand and right pinky finger, consistent with wounds suffered while defending himself.

This is not a complete list of the decedent's injuries.

Was she there until after 10pm? The 3rd phone call registered at the cell tower near her home/Safeways - as per my post above.
I thought someone said that his TOD was determined to be after 10pm. Even if she was only there until 9:00 or even 8:30 that would have been enough time for them to "play" first and for him to become comfortable with putting on the zipties.

With finger cuffs, typically you place the palms of your hands together with your fingers spread apart and then cuff each off the fingers. In this case the zip tie was slipped thru the previous tie and then attached to the finger and then the next tie slipped thru that finger cuff before being attached to the next finger. So all his fingers were cuffed and also attached to each other.

This guy wasn't murdered, he was *slaughtered*. I don't care if she had a post traumatic flashback, she wouldn't have had one if she weren't doing what she wasn't supposed to. This man suffered terribly, and she should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This is not the act of a traumatized woman, it is the act of a vicious, evil person.

It's interesting that nobody reported any yelling or screaming with such a horrible and brutal murder.

Where did you find this description of how the finger cuffs were applied?

Since it appears she was there until after 10pm.

Hi all. Been following this case since the beginning. The times and duration of her phone calls are interesting. I think the 6:30 and 7:40 calls were to David. She may have had a masculine voice, we don't know. AFAIK, no one has described her voice. My question to you all is, how do you come to conclusion that she stayed at Donovan til 10 pm ? Just because the last call was made around that time doesn't mean she stayed at hotel til then. The last call was made from around her home. She could have left Donovan at 8, gone home to shower and collect herself. The last call could have been quite benign.

Yes, it certainly is inexplicable. That had to be a very loud commotion. Someone heard. They need to step forward. People are so reticent to get involved!

Right, but I was under the impression his fingers/hands were bound behind his back. Unless he could dislocate his shoulders to get his already bound fingers/hands to slip over his head I'm just thinking someone other than himself had to do it. IMOO.

Considering the pattern of where he was stabbed and where his defensive wounds may be and that she had a knife and advantage? If the calls were to say she was late, then he opened the door, and she possibly changed out of her bloodied outfit by the door as she left, and put her bulky outfit back on. She came prepared. It wasn't about the money, she had choices, it seems to me.

Reading the criminal complaint... they only describe the wounds to his back which makes me think they didn't move his body until they were done collecting evidence. I agree with you in thinking his hands were behind his back.

Thank you. I thought I had read everything available on this case. Missed that. So --no video of her leaving has been released ?

Just to clarify. I didn't conclude that. Someone else did and I asked where she got the info. I think someone else said his TOD was after 10pm too. I'm trying find clarification on this.

She might not have needed to change her outfit. She probably took her coat off when she arrived at the apartment. The coat would have covered most of the blood and the pants are dark.

It sounds as if her was rolling around as he was trying to defend himself - he may have been on the ground and restricted by ties or blindfold so he had limited vision - the light may not have been on or maybe dim.
I think if she was there for some time - he would have known it was not a man.
I think the attack happened earlier in the meeting - if not almost as soon as she entered the room, it was game on.
If there had already been a paypal payment prior to her turning up, she would not have to worry about the formalities of payment first, play second.
If the light was off when she entered - or there was restricted vision - she may have said nothing - but motioned or manoeuvred him to lie face down...
I think she spent some time in the room after she had ade her attack - and I think she left DM for dead. :(
Just trying to get a scenario happening in my head.
