No cigs either! This is probably the toughest thing Ron has ever had to deal with to date, much more devastating than HaLeigh being missing. That's why he had to put that stupid azz grin on his face, to pretend that he is Billy Bad Azz and he ain't skeered of nobody!
Everybody else knows better so maybe he's trying to convince himself. Good Luck w/that Ronald. I can't wait to see if he has that defiant grin on his face a few weeks.

I don't think she is part of a setup. IMO, she was just part of the party. IIRC, her MySpace referenced a liking for fun times, complete with photos. I hate that she has ever been connected to TES.

Donna Brock too> If this was a movie, no one would believe it. Our best hope is that this set of arrests gets us closer to what happened to Haleigh.

That said, I don't see a thing to celebrate about. Ron, Jr. has a mother with a drug problem and a father in jail for drug trafficking. Nothing to celebrate. Just sad and disappointing all around.

Excuse me for sounding naive, but isn't opium just for heroin? Or do they smoke it too? I'm so shocked by this that I can't stand it.

I don't know if anyone has answered you yet or not but I suspect it's Opiates not actual opium that they got busted for (they are all pill heads, right? Oxycontin? methadone?). They are made from opium.

Actually, mew mew, I think Tommy did talk when he was incarcerated back in October. I have a feeling he buckled under the pressure just like we expect the rest of the bunch to do now, and whatever he said led to the undercover investigation. Back on the streets, he buckled again and jumped back in the frying pan. JMO

I wanna know if Misty's break-up with Donna was a sham all along to cover up their dealings or if they have warmed their relationship up because each had something the other wanted, one had money and one had access to drugs.

Brock was also arrested and charged with trafficking, perhaps the biggest surprise of the bunch–a mother and housewife from North Carolina who also has an apartment in Orlando. She’s behind bars in St. John’s County Jail, with Misty and Tommy, on a quarter million dollar bond.

It was Brock who was driving with Misty during a highly publicized road rage incident; she’s told me she was keeping police apprised of any road trip they took, and filling them in with anything she learned from Misty she thought might help with the missing child investigation.

In fact, we’d nicknamed her “Undercover Mama,” for giving Misty a shoulder to cry on, buying her cigarettes and taking her on shopping sprees to Orlando and beyond. As it turns out, she apparently wasn’t the only one undercover.

In one of our many interviews, Broch told me she’d surprised Misty’s nieces and nephews in Satsuma with Christmas presents; they were close; the question now is apparently how close.

I’d asked her a about a rumor she’d smoked pot with Misty and she denied it, as well as witnessing or participating in any other drug use, and know she’s met several times with officers working on the Cummings case.

I don't know if anyone has answered you yet or not but I suspect it's Opiates not actual opium that they got busted for (they are all pill heads, right? Oxycontin? methadone?). They are made from opium.

They were busted selling oxycodone and hydrocodone which are both derived from the opiate family.

I took Oxycodone once-all it did was make me hyper and itchy-it was awful-I couldn't wait for it to wear off and I flushed the rest down the toilet!

But, one has to wonder why he would have selected Donna Brock to be Misty’s best friend? This latest revelation unfortunately adds credibility to some things that have been drifting around the ether….

Tim Miller aside, I wonder if Donna's part in this helped the police in any way. I mean, Misty and her were always a bit unlikely pair as best buddies, and even more so after Misty got mad that Donna betrayed her. But if despite all that, police found that their contact continued, they must have wondered why, what does Misty have that Donna wants or vice versa and thought about the business angle. Also, remembering the road rage incident, it might be that Donna is not the most discreet and thoughtful co-conspirator and might have let her control down at some point.

I just had to respond to your last comment. It doesn't matter if it was a sting operation or not, Donna was banished from TES long before this. This was not Tim's fault, so how could it hurt his organization if we're talking to any reasonable person.

If anything, this person used TES to get nearer to the key players in Haleigh's case maybe.....because 1. They were familiar customers or 2. They had this kind of activity in common and she wanted to keep better control of what may come out.

Well, she has a high bond. I wonder if she was the "Mama Bear" of this whole street drug activity or if she just inserted herself to get information out of Misty?
I am confused at how the bond amounts were set. Each of these individual had one charge, but different bond amount.
