Whew, finally caught up on this thread but not the whole case. (so please excuse me if I get something wrong here). I do believe that MS has everything to do with the setup of TS murder. I do think it is money motivated. Either he wanted out or TS did but he didn't want to Miss out on the $$$$$. My only confusion is why the perps didn't try and make it look like a robbery gone bad. Where they interrupted? Why not plan a better "cover-up?"

Maybe they did but the staging was too obvious and wasn't believable.

Just ran across this article, and so there is no confusion, THIS IS A DIFFERENT CASE, but... I'm posting as it is, in certain ways, strikingly similar.

Wife is attacked by hitman hired by her husband. The weapon of choice was, believe it or not, a hammer. Surprisingly, the wife was able to fight back and kill her attacker. Amazing.

So the whole scenario isn't necessarily unique. Bringing Jr along could be as simple as backup for any unexpected problems that might crop up.

ETA another article with more details. .. horrific.

WOW. Great find. Strikingly similar is right! But for the fact that TS was much smaller than CWW and more easily over powered. :(

BBM. http://jimfishertruecrime.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-michael-khunhausen-murder-for-hire.html
In this case, the husband "offered the ex-con a $50,000 piece of Susan's life insurance payout. Dazzled by the prospect of so much easy money, Haffey jumped at the chance to kill his former boss' wife. On September 6, 2006, Haffey, using the house key Michael had given him, entered Susan Kuhnhausen's Portland home. He deactivated the intrusion alarm, removed a claw hammer from his backpack, and waited for his prey. On the kitchen table lay a note from Michael informing the murder target that he was spending the day at the beach. The stage had been set for the cold-blooded, home invasion killing. As six in the evening, Susan Kuhnhausen, having completed her shift at the Providence Portland Medical Center, pulled into the driveway alongside the dwelling. She let herself into the house, and was wondering who had turned off the alarm when she received a glancing blow to the back of her head.

Wow! Followed the link to the full story. Some eery similarities there. Only TS's assailants were much, much larger than her and I'm guessing not as coked up. Susan was a nurse which in this situation gave her some valuable knowledge about effective self-defense. Unfortunately, TS probably didn't get such a chance.

Okay, so as for wearing a jump suit....how could this not be premeditated?? And to drive that distance with a lot of time to reconsider your plans??? Please remember I know this can be upgraded?? MY POINT what evidence is there and what is missing??? I'm confused.

The jump suit could have been in whatever vehicle they were driving. It was a work jumpsuit of JR's I don't think he packed it I think it was just there and I think CWw wore it.

Yeah, but what MADE him think to don that jumpsuit in the first place????

The jumpsuit to me was in case someone noticed him he looked like someone coming there to fix something. A workman plumber electrician ETC .

I believe it was entirely premeditated, I don't believe they went to the home to steal anything.

BBM. Neither do I. IIRC, SMS said something to confirm no evidence of a burglary; MS told Skinner nothing was missing.

A workman at midnight? Not very likely.

And wearing a jumpsuit in the Florida heat and humidity by an overweight CWW- the only reason was to prevent his clothing (bought at Walmart) from getting wet from his premeditated felony.

Because imo, this was a "chain". Ms recruited CWW and CWW recruited JR. TS was killed the evening she returned from CT. This was planned so MS was out of town and TS was alone and the children were not in the home. It is the only logical explanation. Reason to murder her???? MS wanted out of the marriage. MOO

Anything i write is just my opinion.
Or, TS wanted out of the marriage. I think that is more likely if I had to pick one. He didn't seem like a guy who would want to go out on his own after living the good life.

Sometimes digits are used in vanity tags, because the letters are already taken. IFM is a nice one, FL! Again, mckazpm' family members recall the tag as 1PM. I know pretty much all of my "vanity" neighbors too. When you live across or close by, you notice those kind of tags. I always try to figure out the meaning when I see a "van tag". Sometimes I spot a regular tag, but oh the irony..perfect meaning...;)

I think this is a good question for insiders, what do you insiders think the 1PM vanity plate means?
Could it be P= Personal M=Message?

MS for sure. Hmmmmmm hmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmm
Skinner thread #142
Hi Kit,

I'm glad you wrote this. It allows me to say something I forgot to bring up in other replies of mine.

Mark is NOT a gambler. Absolutely not. He would NEVER go to the casino to gamble, though he worked as a dealer in a casino like 20+ years ago, here in ST. Louis.

He would tell me the horrible stories of how people would gamble away their homes, and how people committed suicide in the casino hotel rooms, that seldom, if ever, made the news.

As best as he could, he would try to intimate to gamblers (he knew about to lose their social security checks) that they should not gamble (which would have gotten him fired if the pit boss heard), or suggest to the gambler "why don't you take a break, go get something to eat, go home...".

This is why I cannot fathom it, if MS is guilty somehow.

It touches everything he holds dear.

I still just don't see it.

human, every time I think about these money making possibilities with this bunch I can't help but wonder what in the heck did they do with the money? If they were raking in any dough why is there no sign of it? They were literally pulled out of crappy looking trailers.

I agree with all these possibilities but they seem to even be inept at all aspects of life personal and criminal.

If I were to make a guess, I would say they have the money in some offshore accounts in someone elses name or using a shell company to hide the proceeds. That way they can have access to it without anyone knowing they have it. You know, they can "save up" for a trip or computer when in fact they have more money in these accounts than most of us have seen. JMO, I have no proof of anything, but having the knowledge of computers, crime connections and such that they have, I would imagine that's how it will work.

I dunno... that seems really sophisticated for a couple of guys from Hillsboro, MO.
