So it IS affecting him. Foot tapping? A little repressed anger, perhaps?

If you an see a TV, there's a group of folks around the courthouse....totally in control, were so quiet one could hear a pin drop, then the word came out and then there were quiet calls of "thank you" and YES!!

Judge: the notes you took as jurors will be shredded.

Jim Armstrong @JimArmstrongWBZ · 34s 34 seconds ago
Judge: Mister #Tsarnaev has comported himself appropriately the entire time.

Alysha Palumbo @AlyshaNECN · 59s 60 seconds ago
There will be a formal sentencing some weeks down the road where survivors, victims' relatives & #Tsarnaev will be able to speak @NECN

Jim Armstrong @JimArmstrongWBZ · 34s 34 seconds ago

We rise in respect to you.

He walks solemnly out.

:toastred: A toast to you, YESorNO, for the tweets.

:goldcrown: Polished your crown for you. :)

Your humble subject,
jane
:thewave:

BTW: today is the day that Officer Dic Donohue was promoted to Sgt! Seems to be very fitting!

Well for me:

I feel sad that someone who had potential to be a "good" person, screwed up his life for a cause that made him commit such a heinous crime.

May he realize that this accomplished nothing for him and ruined/killed many lives (including his brother).

I'm sad.

The jury did a good job, IMO.

CNN just mentioned a strange gesture that DT did walking out of the courtroom.

Said something like holding up his hand in the "gun" gesture. I was in the other room, so I am not sure of her exact wording.

Anyone else catch this?

Attorney Bruck wants the jurors polled one by one.

Each juror says yes, this is their verdict - death for Dzhokhar #Tsarnaev @NECN

Jim Armstrong @JimArmstrongWBZ · 1m 1 minute ago
Jurors say in clear voices "YES" when asked if this was their true verdict.

Alysha Palumbo @AlyshaNECN · 4s 5 seconds ago
#Tsarnaev showed no visible reaction to the death sentence @NECN

Jim Armstrong @JimArmstrongWBZ · 1m 1 minute ago
Judge thanks the jury.
The Richard family sit calmly, leaning forward and listening intently.

Wow. This will certainly be one condemned man I will not shed a tear for.

I won't ever forget how calmly he set down a bag bomb at the feet of a little child nor his steadfast middle finger given to the world after the death and mayhem he caused.

Good riddance.

It was because TM gave up his rights to appeal after a few years into his conviction. He wanted to die.

IMO

I forgot that!

Judge tells jury they are free to speak to the media, family, friends, about their experience in this case.

Jim Armstrong @JimArmstrongWBZ · 7s 8 seconds ago
Another juror cries.

These people obviously really weighed their decision seriously and profoundly.

I wish I could give back this joke of a human the same message he gave the world awhile ago.

YESorNO - Thank you very much for your postings during the trial! I think I have followed along from the very beginning.

I normally think of Twitter as like the 'Dick and Jane' book of the internet and mostly can't stand tweets that pass for journalism and news these days. But, in this case, I think because you mostly stuck to the two reporters, it allowed me to follow the doings in the courtroom in almost real time. I thank you for that!

I am not in agreement with the verdict, but thankfully it was not my decision to make.

I am pleased with the jurors! They got this one right and I totally agree with their verdict.
