I would love to think that this will finally allow CA and GA to see their daughter for what she truly is, evil incarnate. But I have no hope of that ever happening. CA and GA have too much at stake to give up the charade now. I just hope they realize that Casey has never loved anyone other than herself. And that it's ok for CA and GA to still love Casey despite everything, even if she is evil personified. But love is not a mandated reciprocal thing and I hope that they finally realize at least that much.

BBM - I know, right?? What was it that they said about Casey accusing Lee and George of molesting her? That she was simply trying to make Robyn feel better... or something like that? It is always twisted in a way where Casey is the "caring motherly" type. :banghead:

They'll probably spin this all to look like Casey had to lie in order to protect herself... just like she lied to protect Caylee, right?? :banghead:

From the last hearing, I think she had plans for matching CMA outfits for them both. Today we'll wear teal, tomorrow mauve, the day after pink with ruffles.........
Weird the DT doesn't bother to submit a motion in support of the court order requiring a confidentiality agreement from the media, but has time to submit one barring the inmates parents from the court. :loser:

Well, well, well. It looks like Casey is the one "messing with the Anthonys". This is it, isn't it? Should get interesting, to say the least, although I am not looking forward to the Cindy backlash.

Maybe because we don't get to see all the behind the scene maneuverings, there is no sunshine law where I live so that we can pore over all the docs, but I wonder if this stuff goes on before all trials of this calibre? So far there's never a dull moment. I just went outside and cut my grass and come back to this news!

Could the continued avoidance of contact with her parents be Casey and the DT attempt to enforce how badly treated she was before all this happened?? It would lend credibility to the story of her being afraid to tell them about the "accident", if that is to be her latest story.
I really believe there is some reason that all contact(as far as we know) has been cut off for this long. Cindy keeps trying by writing letters, but no response at all from ICA. This could be at JB direction, but I feel ICA is in full agreement. What is the matter with her?? She has NOONE else to care about her. All of her friends and Lee have gone on with their lives and will do more so as time goes on. Does she not realize she will be just a faint memory in a couple years?

I will always have warm feelings for little Caylee. I will have no feelings at all for ICA. While I realize her parents have done everything wrong before, during, and after Caylee's death, I cannot help but feel they are truly suffering her loss. I pray they find peace.

Why do they need a hearing on this though? I think Judge Perry is well equipped to make a decision without hearing both sides. Their reasons were layed on in their motions... Makes me wonder if JB wants to call them out on the stand about their statements that Caylee is still alive? Show the court, and Judge Perry himself, that Cindy and George's motion asking to be excluded from the rules of sequestration is based on a lie by claiming to be the next of kin to the victim in this case??

This is all so weird? Could they schedule a hearing for tomorrow?? They won't have time to do a hearing starting Monday, will they??

Trust me the behind scenes ugly is happening in epic proportions days before a trial. It's a pretty safe bet that both sides are getting less than a few hours sleep per night. I was lucky if I got 5 hours of sleep leading up to all my trials. But I averaged more like 3 hours a night.

Apart from the fact they are now wilfully ignoring what she has turned out to be,and how their behavior infuriates me at times, I am sure they still think constantly of her in better times, when she was still their little girl and none of this was even in their worst nightmares for the future. She has selfishly destroyed her whole family in order to what? stay out all night at parties....

Yes I'm sure. I haven't yet decided if I want to continue reading this much information about trials. A lot of it infuriates me. This is the first case I have followed in such detail and I am disappointed and disillusioned at the skullduggery I have seen.

I don't know much about FL's state level rules. But in my jurisdictions they are considered separate. A motion typically requires the party to request something. But it's not unheard of in a response or even a reply (a response to an objection/opposition) to request oral argument on an issue. In some jurisdictions you have to specifically request an oral argument separate from the entire motion in a separate captioned pleading otherwise your request will be decided upon the submitted papers.

No. The motion is the moving paper. The response is your reply to the moving paper. The reply is the doc the party filing the moving paper responds with to the response.......it goes on and on......sur-reply, etc.,

Because none of them can keep their mouths shut and you never ever put down on paper anything that you would care if anyone else saw at all. So what does that leave them to communicate about? Not to mention that everything, everything that Casey does is over analyzed. If she did write to her mom and say we get to choose dessert three times a day but I only eat red jello the media would beat the statement to death.


The defense team is trying to save her life by keeping her away from everyone so she can't run her mouth so much.


On GA and CA being impeached by other witnesses, didn't they both take care of that business for them self?

I know a lot of posters want them excluded from the courtroom and now Baez is saying they will be subject to impeachment because of other testimony during the trial.

I'd like to see them stay in for the whole trial. I don't think they will be allowed to do that, but I really would like them to hear the full monty and know exactly what ICA did to their precious grand child. I want them to be aware just how much they lied for this monster. And how little regard she and the DT really have for them. And how very wrong they have been all this time.

Reality starts on Monday morning, bright and early.

What's to stop them watching it all at home? It's not like they're going to miss anything, between media and the Internet.. I hope they have them testify really early in the case so they can't change stories or collude .
