Mystery ‘Man on the Roof’

A young woman carrying a very young child w/ a diaper bag would have literally gone unnoticed. I think its something that should be considered. Re the perp/s - maybe there's a woman working with a man.

I hope the perp bought those pressure cookers at a Walmart, they have a great video of their stores.

OT - Wisconsin college campus Carroll U is on lockdown, reports of a gunman.

Not sure if this has been posted. My heart breaks for the victims and their families, but especially little Martin Richard's family (sorry if it's been posted - I'm working like crazy these days and haven't had time to read all the posts yet):

Death of terror's tiniest victim called 'surreal,' 'tragic'

...Martin's mother, Denise, and his sister were grievously injured, The Boston Globe reported.

Denise Richard underwent surgery for an injury to her brain and Martin's 6-year-old sister lost her leg, WHDH says. Both are recovering in a hospital, according to the TV station.

This bomb description does not sound like a Taliban or Al Quada device to me. It sounds more like Domestic Terrorism, imo.

ETA: On CNN they just said these were like ones used in Afghanistan, so I guess I am wrong.

Well in Afghanistan they have to make crude weapons with whatever is handy (very little money, limited supplies). To me that just says it is a relatively simple device, not that it is foreign terrorists.

"When I was a little boy and would see scary things on the news, my mother would say to me "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping."
-Fred Rogers-

God bless Mr Rogers.
Such good advice.

I hadn't read this, but the person who's apt they searched was injured and considered a POI.

Have they named the other two who were killed? Were they in the stands as well? It looks like that would have been the most dangerous area.

What's more troubling, others noted, was a growing number of eBay listings for Boston Marathon-related items by people who seemed to be capitalizing on a tragedy.
One listing, which has since been removed, advertised the sale of 10 Web domain names tied to the bombings. Other less sinister listings were auctioning copies of Tuesday's Boston Globe. The headline: "Marathon Terror."

SMH. that is so horrible.

And most anybody who pays attention to international news has seen information like this mentioned in broadcasts and so forth. Not to mention what would turn up in a Google search.

It wasn't the stands. It was across the street from the stands.

oh i thought there were stands on both sides of the finish line. so those people were all just standing along the street to watch the finish? like sitting ducks. how horrible.

'Man on roof' photo prompts conspiracy theories
Apr 15, 2013 11:41 p.m.

Snipped:
There was no evidence that the man had any connection with the bombings at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

The man was later confirmed to be a Boston Marathon security worker.

Thanks, I was off looking for a quotable source on that.

Rumor is saying that he got a good look at somebody who might be involved...but then rumor would say that, wouldn't it?
