Yes,Puggle. I live on LI and we've taken the ferry to CT to go to Foxwoods. There are two places you can pick it up. One is in Port Jefferson and the other location is Orient Point. The Orient Point location takes you closer to where Foxwoods is. Both ferries take cars,but there are also buses waiting at both locations in CT.
 
I've never been to Foxwoods, just AC and Las Vegas, but I know plenty of people that go all the time to Foxwoods. A lot easier of a drive if you take the ferry.

Makes it more plausible with the newly found connection to *advertiser censored*. I have read that Snuff is considered an urban legend. If this is actually happening, are they selling it or are they keeping the films as trophies? Is there a place in the world where the making of Snuff is rampant? Have any of the poi spent time there? FBI should look at this. Instead of being a sicko individual, it could be that they are killing these sex workers for profit?

They/he definitely targets petite women specifically IMO. While people think they all look very different that is where they all match.

Petite women are easier to handle by one person after they're dead. If they are in fact being filmed, petite women would be more attractive to other viewers, if they were kept alive and the films were sold. Maybe the girls were lured in as actresses with the promise of a good pay day.
 
If Burke had illegal dealings he also had access to illegal funds that no one would know about except him. I think it’s possible that Burke worked with one individual who is “under the radar” – not known to most people. The kind of guy who is quiet and aloof but nice enough and doesn’t look like a hood. This guy needs money and Burke pays him with undetectable funds to both procure the women for Burke and then dispose of them after he was done.

The desperation to meet with Amber that night was almost like LISK was on a deadline. I get there’s an “impulse to kill” as described by other serial killers – but, in that case, wouldn’t you just move on to someone more willing if the girl said no? It’s not like there aren’t plenty of escorts advertising. But, LISK was persistent with Amber – many calls over many hours. It’s like someone requested her specifically and LISK felt pressure to broker the deal or lose money. As I said in another post, I think he’s in sales.

And the uniform way in which he disposed of the women has the feel of being on the job. The exactness of it – like he held himself to a standard. The GB4 events feel almost business-like to me and Shannan was an unplanned event that had to be dealt with. A chain of phone calls were made and suddenly she’s taken care of by Burke’s specialist – who knows Oak Beach well.

Khofman posted a link. I have a paid subscription to nationwide newspapers, and read it in on e of them, I will go back and look at the specific one I found it in. But the guy who took the bag said he called Burke a pedophile and Burke started beating the crap out of him.

Yeah, I was thinking about this, and reading some info in the FBI vault saying that the serial killer spends most of his time dreaming in his fantasy world because he is reliving the act over and over again, well, if it was caught on film, then they could relive the act over and over again by just watching it. But you need more than one person to accomplish this, as they would want to get different angles and close up shots while someone else is doing the act. Also, if a snuff film was being made, "they" probably would have injected her with something, but she could have already had something else in her system and therefore, had an adverse reaction. Like when injecting heroin some people mix it with cocaine (speed balling), and it can cause all kinds of problems. But again, only a theory. I have a cousin who had an adverse reaction to LSD and was tripping balls for days. I personally witnessed her talking to "God" and telling me that her mom (my aunt) was trying to kill her, then she proceeded to talk to "the little people" running across the floor that she said she could see. My mother called the sheriff and he took her in to the hospital thinking she was schizophrenic. She had to go into the hospital and was never "right" after that happened. Some people do not react in the typical way that others do, either they have an allergic reaction, or due to an imbalance in brain chemistry, can react in the opposite way. This, of course is just a theory as well, but it happens.

Thank you for the links shadowraiths. Pius case link is wealth of information and quite well written, analyzing and doubting details already in 1982. I was flabbergasted that in the middle of the story it announced it was end of part 1.

Can anyone find link to part 2?

I think this might help towards Leanne's corroboration... I think James Burke posts on UG Forum under the username Jimbo44 (also prior to that as username KirkSuerte).

Most of Jimbo44's conversations are with Sambucca (Joe Brewer?)
and billyS (see also Riggid66 see also Ripper66) which another user on WebSleuths suggested was Peter Hackett.

This shows Jimbo44 (James Burke) know's how to get to Brewer's House (back in Oct 2002). He then forms close friendships and makes arrangements with Riggid66 / Ripper66 / billyS (Peter Hackett) and Sambucca (Joe Brewer) as the years go on.

Jimbo44 is registered on UG for from at least 2002 up until May 2015 (James Burke's arrest date?)

Through the forums he ticks a lot of Red Flag interests from the LISK criteria:
foot fetish (see Killing Season)
asian transexual (Asian Male)
occasional black girls (Cherries)
streetwalkers (James Burkes prostitues already mentioned)
swinger parties (Brewer)
addresses mentioned on UG forum (check Google Maps these are within 20 mins distance of Gilgo/Jones/Fire Island)
