Yes, I understand what you mean. It's sort of heartbreaking. He sounds very upset like he's possibly crying. He comes off as very vulnerable. It is really a strict contrast from the other reports we have describing him.

I which I could make out what the 911 call with Rocxanne Deschamps says. It's very staticky. I can't understand too much. Did you notice that the son of Deschamps said that he and his mom adopted the Cruz brothers? It sounds like he said in January... but the 911 call was made in November a few weeks after Lynda passed away. Also, I think Rocxanne said Lynda passed on the 3rd of Nov., not the 1st.

Very weird all around. I'm still uncertain of how I feel about the Deschamps due to the rumors and allegations of taking advantage of the Cruz boys. Hopefully, more info will come out soon.

He and his brother may be of the same bio parent lineage. Families can have great variants in skin color, eye color, traits that occur in one child and not others. Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemmings had a number of children--- some who looked and passed as white and others who did not. When it comes to NC, he may not have identified him as "black" because he was not told he was "black" in the first place. If these young men were told that their bio parents were bio to both of them, he may have thought it was just a different in skin coloring. Adopted kids (in non-open adoptions) try to put all kinds of things together that may not be thought of by those who are not adopted. They will also hang on to beliefs because it is all they have from their history.

But, my bigger point was that we are assuming that they are different races, therefore, not the same bio parentage. That may or may not be the case. With the advent of things like DNA tests that "show" what countries/areas your family came from, any number of people are finding out that they have different components than they thought and some with African heritage when they thought they were Northern European. Not sure any of this matters but it does point to an even more complicated dynamic that had large potential impact on their lives.

On another note, I am sad that a picture of these two young men placing their mother's urn in her final resting place conjures race questions without noting that doing that action for your last parent is heartbreaking.

Could be a far reach of an opportunity from Gold, indirectly trying to point out that the $2900 was really taken from NC by Roxy. He doesn’t appear to be interested in patching things up with Roxy. And she has stated more than a few that she has not received any money for doing what she has for them.

I’m not condoning any of NC actions but I’m not sure I have ever seen such vile exploitation of this caliber before. This is so dark and evil, almost like a movie.

It seems the family had been preyed upon prior to Lyndas death. And I don’t see how either of these 2 family friends had the boys best interest in mind when offering a place to stay. Each are riddled with issues.

I haven't seen one report suggesting they have the same bio-parents. Most msm reports claim they had the same mother but different fathers. Daily mail actually claimed they are not related at all. Frankly, I find it much easier to believe they are not related than both bio-parents were the same.

I think OP was referring to the guardian, not the mom. The mom was clearly frugal, and she had no will according to MSM.

Furthermore, she reportedly had to sell her house in a short sale. So I would say money issues is not out of the question. Not sure where the supposed inheritance NC claimed he was going to get was going to come from.

He was the only one on the scene. So I believe it's not even against the protocol for him to wait for back up. Not that it's heroic or anything, but he apparently had a 9 mm and NC had an AR-15. So that wasn't a fight he could have won.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some civil law suits filed in the next week or so against Cruz and requests to the court to seize those funds. But my understanding was that the money was in some sort of a trust that would not disperse those funds until Cruz was 22 or so. IF that is the case, that money may not be available for a while.

I am not convinced there is actually the money, in the amounts suggested.
