Her mother confirmed in her interview with the police that Dee Dee has at least one brother. Dee Dee bust open the padlock on a trailer/container that her brother was storing at his parents house.

Letter to Abraham Shakespeare's mother forged, witness in lottery murder case says

She wrote: "I like being missing."

He said he was in the motel room with Moore that night. She'd brought a mask and gloves for him too.

The long, rambling letter praised Moore for being honest, so honest she wouldn't help Shakespeare evade child support payments. "Don't worry about DeeDee," it said. If she got arrested "the charges won't stick."

Greg Smith -- a long-time friend of Shakespeare's who had borrowed some $63,000 from him -- was allegedly paid just a couple hundred bucks by Moore to help her hide his whereabouts from his family.

Good morning! Hope we get started on time this morning and that Dee Dee hasn't suffered another medical setback! (pure sarcasm)

Morning all! No video, but already 63 viewers and climbing, I'm sure. Did everybody bring their preferred headache remedy? The Denny's tape is so difficult to listen to. I'm not prone to headaches, but I get one every day as we listen.

As for DD, she didn't look too happy yesterday. As for her notes, I have to wonder if they are filled with agonizing detail as to what she meant by what she said, like in the police interview? I'm sure her attorneys are thrilled reading them at night. Same old stuff, recycled.

Witness: He, Moore forged letter from Shakespeare to mom

the first day of the second week of the trial, testimony bogged down as the jury heard taped conversations between the informant and Moore, including when they drafted the letter in the hotel room. At times, the tape went for five and 10 minutes with no talk or only muffled conversation

The link above is for anyone new and a reminder for me where the binders with all the discovery documents can be viewed. There are 7 binders on the site and you can go through each binder by clicking on the binder number. The amount of information is massive. I tried to find that letter Dorice wrote on 1/6/10 that she gave to Ms. Walker pretending to be her son, Abraham, but I couldn't find it. I think I need an index to the binders.

Ok, I'm thinking that when the judge says the jurors should be in the courthouse at 8:30, court may be scheduled to start at 9.

However, there are sometimes snippets from coverage prior to that time. The good news is that when we see the multi-colored "offline" up, it means that the stream has started. IMHO, it's far better than a black screen!
