The one registered sex offender living in Farm Worker Village, 51-year-old Luis Reveron, was outside smoking a cigarette and fixing a truck in front of his home at 1743 Elm Hammock Circle on Friday morning. He said through a translator that he has been questioned twice by investigators.

Luis is a registered SO from Puerto Rico as well.

Now, really Luis may have been in the Casino when Adji went missing but wonder where his friend Alberto was?

Am I noting old news - there are a few threads on Adji but I don't think I missed this being noted before regarding Alberto.

And what is with the eye color on both of these guys being listed as red - is there really such an eye color?

Not sure if Luis and Alberto were old buddies in Hormigueros, PR or not but did find Luis finally in the PR Sex Offender Registry.

I have been thinking about Adji today. It is so sad that he is still not found. Where are you Adji?

Very interesting stuff you are finding, elepher!

Thanks I4G: Adji's case bothers me like no others.

The sleuthing right now is leading me to a place called Lehigh Acres in Florida and am looking at Equestrian/horse places in that area.

LOL I hope not. If so then we know they are possessed for sure.

I am so glad you are still sleuthing! You never know what you might find.

I saw a thing on ABC news tonight about children being used to pick fruits and veges in the US, some as young as 3 years old. They are good because their little hands and fingers can pick smaller things better.

I want so badly to believe that Adji was taken for something like that, not that it would be ideal, but he would still be alive. These kids were at least fed and clothed.

I just don't *feel* Adji is dead although that means absolutely nothing.

{{{HUGS}}} to you for still searching.

My parents live in Lehigh Acres and I lived there for a year. Let me know how I can help.

Really interested in the Alabama Rd N area in Lehigh Acres and also a little farther north in the Alva area. I notice there was a rodeo held recently in Alva - watched a video of the rodeo (made my body ache to just watch it) and at the start of the clip there was a small person (#47) with a helmet put onto what looks like a sheep or ram - couldn't see any facial features. Just for interest sake here is the video:

YouTube - Rodeo in Alva 2009

They teach the kids to ride using the sheep. This doesn't happen a lot, just around rodeo time. I don't think its possible anyone could be making money off their kid riding a sheep. If I were a kid I wouldn't think that was fun though.

Every year at the fair here there are lots of kids that ride sheep. They call it mutton busting. Or, as my cousin's 3 year old son says, "mustin bustin". Not uncommon at all, and most of them do enjoy it. But I also can't see anyone making any money off of it.

Next month the search for Adji will extend to the mailboxes of millions of residents across the United States.

Adji’s photo will be featured on national direct-mail advertising fliers to be distributed to 75 million homes across the United States during the week of Nov. 8 through the week of Dec. 13, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC).

Respectfully snipped. Just about one week until the mass mailing of Adji's flyers will begin. Everyone be sure to post if you get one!

I hope something comes from it. It's terrible that this case hasn't received nearly the press that some other cases have. It's not that far from where I live (about 65 miles) and you never even hear about it here. :(

Adji Desir, the Immokalee 7-year-old who disappeared in January, will be one of six missing children appearing on the upcoming cover of People magazine.

The cover reads "Vanished Without a Trace: Heartbreak & Hope," and features the stories of young people who disappeared this year. The story was prompted by the August rescue of Jaycee Dugard, who was abducted in 1991 when she was 11 years old and held captive for 18 years in the California home of her alleged kidnappers, Phillip and Nancy Garrido.

This is great that People mag is getting Adji's face out there -- and the other missing kiddos too.

They should do this often!

Adji was last seen playing outside of his grandmother’s house in Farm Worker Village in Immokalee on Jan. 10, while his mother was at work. Authorities from across Florida traveled to Immokalee in January and combed the nearby fields and woods for nearly a week looking for Adji, to no avail.

NBC2 sat down with the boy's mother Wednesday night to talk about how her life as changed since her son disappeared.

"It's good that they put him in the magazine because if someone sees him they will call the cops," she said.

She says without her son, she feels lonely and won't find peace until he is home.

"She never feels good because she was always the only one in the house with Adji," her translator said.

But in her time of heartache, she has had moments of happiness. Adji's new little sister Adjine is helping Neida get though the most difficult time in her life.

Just going back to basic information released at the time Adji went missing and AC is a SO from Puerto Rico - wondering if he was ever investigated by LE. I can't seem to get any where on the PR Sex Offender site .. language barrier being one reason. And why in the heck were these two dudes hanging out together in Farm Worker Village?

http://www.sexualoffenders.com/statedatabases/puerto_rico_sex_offender_registry.htm

Anybody have any insights as to how to further check out AC? Here is a snag of the info on AC:

These Sex Offenders, they know how to network with one another. There was some that got busted as they used craigslist to network. Using codes and such i guess that they are privy to.
Is it possible Adji would have been snatched up for a child sex ring?

Also, exactly how well did LE question the other children he was playing with that night? They didn't see anything out of the ordinary, any adults at all? Even if it was an adult that was around there a lot, it may be important.
