I remember thinking something was off when we heard the initial story about stepmom having to wake up the 3 yr old at 10:30 for breakfast. How many 3 yr olds are not already awake and hungry by then?

It sounds like the whole situation is a product of its environment.
All day long I hear stories in the same vein as this one. It's sad.
However, from my point of view, chances are very good the boy would have grown up and hung out with his uncles.
Who knows what was going on with step mom. Voices?

Hm this sounds like there was longstanding abuse and the father was well aware and making excuses for it. You've got such clumsy three- year- old who always falls and hits his head, you need to take him to the hospital, he's got a neurological deficit...

This is all so unfathomable. FIVE adults and 3 children in the house. Was Ahizya the only child covered head-to-toe with bruises? Were the two children in good health?

3-year-olds can be clumsy, but not to the extent that they are so covered in painful bruises. It was plain and simple abuse, IMHO. If Ahizya was the only abused child, it is clearly another case of someone using the child as a whipping-boy for all the adults. I've watched too much Discovery ID. I've seen too many cases where this happens. Was step-mom the main abuser and the others didn't care enough to do something about it? Perhaps they all abused him. In any case, they ALL need to be behind bars and the other children and future child need to be monitored wherever they end up.

BTW, I've read somewhere (and can't remember where), that the step-mom did NOT voluntarily admit herself to a mental institution. She was Baker Acted immediately. Can someone point me to this? Thanks if you can.

According to investigators, Osceola claims to have had suicidal thoughts ever since she had C**** (redacted), her and Nelson's seven-month old daughter. Osceola was Baker Acted shortly after Ahizya's body was found, and her other two children taken from her. She is currently two months pregnant.

(It appears this writer has sources that are different from other MSM (perhaps he is simply sourcing other MSM articles & NOT the actual Court records (e. g., Lists bio parents as separated, and doesn't address step-mom as an Osceola, but a Rodenzo. Of course she didn't, but the real victim was just buried. Mom should have been there for him and she wasn't really. It was a toss up for CPS to decide which was the lesser of 2 evils in terms of caring for this sweet adorable boy. It pisses me off, actually.

DCF has notoriously failed to protect children in Florida. The Rilya Wilson case in Miami stands out most in my mind. If you google DCF failures you will see case after case after case of DCF dropping the ball and the children paying the ultimate price for their failures with their lives.

Mom was definitely negligent, but there were no reports that she physically abused her son. The same cannot be said for Dad and Stepmom.

Police say both Nelson and Analiz Osceola tested positive for marijuana at the time of the incident.

The stepmother of a Hollywood toddler, who was found dead inside his home last week, has been arrested.

Analiz Osceola, 24, was arrested Wednesday in the death of three-year old Ahziaya Osceola.
Analiz Osceola is charged with aggravated manslaughter, child neglect, and providing false information to law enforcement.

Ahziaya Osceola&#8217;s father, Nelson Osceola, 25, is charged with child neglect.
