I've been researching the Griffis family for several days now and haven't found anything that confirms that Chad is the son of Bruce.

Bruce is currently 46 years old and Chad is 29. That would make Bruce only 17 when Chad was born.

Has anyone found definitive proof that Chad is the son of Bruce?

If Haleigh never attended school on Monday...his words are lies. Everything is really contingent on her being at school and him meeting her on that bus. LE will not confirm she was ever at school. This bothers me.

If he was telling the truth about taking her off the school bus...why wouldn't LE just say so? Makes no sense.

LE is probably 99% sure about whether haleigh was at school monday and 99% sure about what hours the dad worked and 99% sure that they can clear a bunch of people, but they don't want to take the 1% chance about being wrong in a public statement.

i think LE is just taking a cautious approach. they've decided that they don't want this to turn into the circus that the anthony case has and they think that being tight-lipped is the best way to do this.

If we knew JUST THAT - we could possibly rule him out. Until then - nope.

I thought he either picked Haleigh up or dropped Haleigh off at the house after school at 3:45 pm.

IIRC, he said he picked Haleigh up from the school bus at 3:45. So, he would be a bit later to work, if he even went to work. I wish we could get some basic info!

This does bother me because with all the speculation out there you would have already thought that one person from his company would have already said on the news, or confirmed with someone who could get on the news that he was indeed at work and the speculation should end on him having something to do with this.

Has it been discussed abt the guy who was nailed for showing up to meet a couple of kids (a trap) just recently? The guy is from Jacksonville.

not normally. But the ac business can be lucrative. Many do it on the side, or as main jobs. I know many men that do it, and aren't listed in phone books etc... Just word of mouth and being known in the community, they normally charge less than big well known businesses. So anyone, a relative of someone, friend, could have been called to do a repair, especially since we know the unit would have been out of factory warranty by now due to the age of the home.

It's possible the police asked the company not to release any information to the media. However, remember this is Florida and we have those "Sunshine Laws" so eventually it will come out to the public.

seems odd that there are court papers on 1/7 between Donald Sapp and the deceased, and a couple of weeks later Donald is living in his house? They have to be related.

I found the deed that shows Lindsay Croslin does actually own a home with Guy Sapp. Haven't tied Guy to Donald yet, but it seem inevitable. Anyone know how old Lindsay is? Guy is 78.

If biodad worked from 3 p.m. - 3 a.m. every day, there is no way that a 17 year old is going to spend those 12 hours, plus the other 12 hours every day, cooped up in a trailer out in the middle of no where with two little kids.

I really believe that when the dad went to work, the GF had "friends" she had met in the neighborhood (seems like mostly men in that area) over or she went over to their nearby trailers after the kids went to sleep.

There's NO way she is staying cooped up in that trailer with 2 little kids that aren't hers for 24 hours a day.

They keep adequate records no matter how small the district is...they would know. Her teacher would know. The bus driver would know. FBI and LE would KNOW for certain if she was at school. NO reason for them to hedge on it.

Thank you. We have central air, but my brother in law does all the minor work on it. So I don't have to handle a single thing with repairs or maintenance.

From what I remember - he said he picked her up at the bus stop and brought her home, as he was leaving for work he checked the lock on the back door and that he left the home at 3:45. That kinda jives because if she's out of school at 3 - possibly 2:50 as public schools tend to load kindergarteners first before the rest and bus rolls at 3 - 3:05 - gets to bus stop around 3:20 - 3:25 (don't know where her bus stop was) - but that still leaves 20-25 mins to get her home and then leave for work.

But we have NO confirmation on dad's work - either regular schedule or day in question schedule and whether or not Haleigh was even in school that day.

By LE being silent on these points actually SPEAKS VOLUMES!!!

I think these people just don't want the media exposure and the intrusion into their lives. it is a simple life and most times folks don't want to be put out there to be scrutinized. I know I wouldn't.
