i know when im tired after work i take the quickest way so i dont see her detouring off a main road. looks like she wouldve taken Prudential over the Main st bridge to Ocean ave to Union and to the Matthews

I have no idea at all i really just saw this case and cant stop thinking about it. im also from here and would like to know what happened and who was involved so they can be taken off the streets. But a mother of 2 isnt just going to leave or kill herself. I dont know what her personal life was like but that might shed some light on this

It stinks that I found out about this on Websleuths. Just not getting any coverage in Jax, except for the one story. None of the other stations are covering it (at least that I can find).

Checking SM, her family and friends absolutely DO NOT believe it is suicide.

The fact the her car was left running and her phone smashed, is it possible she was involved in a road rage incident?

Anything seems possible at this point.

All her personal items were still in the car, except for her phone, which was found near the back of the car.

It might be significant that her phone was found near the rear of her car.
As if she witnessed something or dealt with something towards the front of her car on the bridge.
Then exited her car with her phone, running away from the front of it, and was intercepted at the rear.

no i dont think she would. It sounds like someone maybe forced her to pull over and she tried to get out of there. Broken phone and purse left in the car, like she was going to run from someone. Her last facebook post says "long drive ahead" at that she felt drained leaving Baptist Hospital at 902pm. It really sounds like she was just going home
BBM

Do you happen to have a link to her FB page you could post?

If someone read the post that she was leaving to drive home at 9:02, could she have been intercepted by someone...angry BF or ex, stalker, or?

I was thinking more along the lines of someone yanking the phone from Ashley's hand, and throwing it to rhe ground. Now I'm hoping there might be fingerprints on the phone.

As the car was left running, with her bag untouched, I thought that perhaps that if someone was involved with her disappearence they were careful and very aware not to leave fingerprints.
She may of been knocked to the ground, but I sure hope fingerprints are found.

I guess what I'm trying to say, that someone might of framed suicide. at the last minute, second.
But like Jax49 said, anythings possible at this stage.
Ashley may of bolted with her phone from the car and dropped the phone in panic.

I live south of Jacksonville and am just hearing about this. I just can't believe as busy as the Mathews Bridge is that someone didn't see something. Surely there are traffic cameras on that bridge. I wish we knew more about her. On a sadder note, if she did jump, the St Johns River flows very fast and she could be anywhere. Praying for answers for the family.

Hopefully the police will do some actual police work like checking cameras and looking in her phone to see who she might have been talking to. Because this is very strange among other things

the cops are im sure assuming that she went in the river and thats why they havent
