I hope they've checked all of the Shands/UF garages...one time had a friend who attempted suicide and police/we looked all over for her car. Was in one of the remote garages.

He wouldn't be in there. Leaving a body there (or even somebody who is beaten and bloodied up--if he wasn't killed) would be too much of a risk with University of Florida police department patrolling those areas.

I meant the car....

Just kidding. I knew that, LOL. I don't think the car would be in there either because you need a parking pass or to purchase a daily ticket. I'm sure UFPD would have checked by now anyway because they circulate those parking lots hourly.

Hehe. No worries =D

The more remote ones, they don't patrol that often...i'm sure they've checked them, though - and since there is no detection system for decals and they're usually in the front, they may not notice right away. Another consideration on where the car may be would be some of the huge apartment complexes where it's easy to be one of hundreds.

Police said Tuesday that they are also seeking information about the hitchhiker whom Bravo picked up sometime that day.

The way that is worded it certainly sounds like they have a credible source.

Well after reading up thread it could be possible Pedro said that.

for some reason I.am not seeing anything about a hitch hiker in these links.

Could it be the news org. Updated the report since you all.have read it?

:dunno:

It is possible that they went back and revised because during today's press conference officer Tobias said that at this time they are not looking for a second suspect. (I think they should figure out what that hitch hiker thing is about though).

There have been just a few cases over the years where I feel like I'm standing vigil.

This is most definitely one of them. My heart just breaks for both families.

Link has a 2-minute video, reporter says they had a news conf early today.

Basically only talking about the shovel and tape.

Wonder if he had pre-dug a hole, if that is what he bought the shovel for.

I know when I watch the news this afternoon (same channel) they were saying the shovel changes what they are looking for now.

Again, Father speaks at the end. Very heartbreaking. Prayers go out to this family. I wish suspect would just come clean and be truthful so this family can be at peace.

A hole being dug is just SPECULATION, correct?

Yes. LE said they wouldn't speculate what the shovel might be used for, but very easy to speculate given the circumstances. Wonder if Pedro had the shovel with him during the altercation and used it as a weapon, too. Or, drove Christian to an isolated spot and used it as a weapon before digging a hole.

Bravo’s parents had traveled to Gainesville earlier this week and offered to help out with the search for Aguilar, said Ron Kozlowski, an attorney for Bravo. But the parents were asked not to take part, for fear that it would create too much of a distraction, he said.

“These families have known each other,” Kozlowski said. “The [Bravo] parents, their hearts go out. They are praying that Chris is found.”

The Bravos have returned to Miami. But Aguilar’s father is hoping they will return to Gainesville, and he is even offering to help pay for it — sharing some of the donations that have poured in to support his family.
