Defense attorney here. First of all it's clear you're referring to defendants who are in custody, as a defendant who is released will have the ability to dress themselves. Usually family will provide it to the defense attorney, who can then pass it along to the jailers who will allow the defendant to change before entering the courtroom, and change back out into their jail scrubs before being transported back to the jail for the night. In the case of a truly indigent defendant, like someone who is relying on the public defender and for whatever reason does not have a sufficient family support system who could provide them with appropriate clothing, many public defender offices maintain a clothing bank of donated clothing. Not the best quality or fit, but it does the trick. Sometimes attorneys will get the defendants clothes at their own expense.

"...According to attorney Dean Lebeouf, there are some things the state prosecutor is going to look for.
They will be looking for people who are not opposed to the death penalty, since Garcia is facing it. They are also looking for people who have not already formed an opinion of the case from the publicity of the case over the years.
Finally, they need to be able to determine evidence, without a key witness and concrete evidence.
"Trying to exclude people who knew the individuals involved in the case and who haven't been prejudiced about the publicity and reporting about the case is not going to be easy," said Lebeouf.
He says it's more of a jury de-selection than a jury selection because they are more so deciding why people should not be on the jury."

Yesterday, I listened to the seven episode podcast of Over My Dead Body about this case, and I'm up to speed again. It's been so long since I have followed this case.
There were two things that I did not remember. I did not remember that when the undercover officer went to her, mom referred to a television again when she talked to Charlie on the phone about a $5,000 payment after the undercover officer created an issue between them. Definitely reinforces TV was code word

Sorry if this has been asked, or is a dumb question...
Do we know if any of the Adelson’s will be called to the stand during trial? Wendy? Donna? Charlie? Harvey?
IMO All the evidence points to the Adelson’s being the ones who paid for the hit (obviously), but I can’t help wonder if and how the prosecution is going to present this case as a murder for hire without any of the Adelson’s being indicted. As a juror - I’d find that odd. I know prosecutors have said there’s not enough evidence for a solid case against them, but maybe they are just waiting till after the trial. It’ll be very interesting to see how the case is presented.

I don't know anything about jury selection but why is the majority of the jurors women? Wouldn't it b better to have half and half?
