Why such a brutal killing? And how did LE see the connectivity in the crime so quickly?

I cannot fathom the unnecessary brutality, unless MS was truly not involved in any way ... however, my suspicious side points to his involvement, and if true, it is the most despicable crime, given that they had two beautiful daughters. It breaks my heart.

An added thought ... Why I think MS is involved: if he wasn't, surely he would have been completely outraged at the brutal, horrific murder of his wife and would be publicly demanding justice and begging for people to come forward. The silence to me was a huge red flag. I hope I'm wrong

I think if Teresa knew something was going on with her business, she would have confronted immediately. I do not see her continuing her day to day life and heading to Connecticut or not saying something to any of her family. We know the sis probably did not suspect anything awry with regards to the suspicious nature of "connectivity" in this case based on her initial comments.

Working from that point of view, I still say there is more than money involved. Because killing her was risking in their ability to produce money unless their was a huge LI policy. I think their was probably a team of people inside the office(WW being one) who were making money and perhaps a romance happened amongst them. They wanted money and her out of the way. They may have felt they could insert another doctor and have the alternative sidekick attach herself to the new doctor and everything would roll out the same as it always had.

Maybe as simple as FB. (It took us about two seconds to connect the two!) But probably phone, email or text records, guessing.
My take is that she was a very smart, ambitious and successful woman and her husband felt trivialized being a stay-at-home dad, so she gave him a job as office manager to try to help make him feel big and important, but it didn't work. (BTW, I LOVE stay-at-home dads--my partner is one! But he promised me tonight he won't kill me.)

ETA: This is total speculation, but I have a hunch he was having an affair with LS, so he saw not only a financial paradise based on collecting insurance, but also a life with his lovely blond freak.

If the media leaked the news than it was due to the sheriff who made the comment about this case could be a movie only 3 weeks after her death.

He pretty much tried to sensationalize the case from the begining and showed his hand early on. I see he wanted the spotlight early on.

So why say the media jacked things up? Was he leaking information himself?

I hope that WW wasn't stealing or doing something illegal or got fired from Dr. T and then he decided to brutally murder her. To avoid consequences. Or something. I mean without MS's knowledge. I just have always had a feeling MS was/has never been involved. I could be naive but I think it may be someone else. IMO

I think he would have been vocal as well as cleared by LE in the media by this point. They are looking for his wife's killer! I don't think I'm wrong, but if I am I will formally apologize for jumping to conclusions in this case.

Interesting that CWW (aka WW) says he had moved to St Petersburg in 2014 - according to intelius website both MS and TS show a previous address in St Petersburg, but I don't know when they lived there.

TS and MS moved to Bonita Springs from St. Pete in the mid 2000s. CWW was married in March of 2015 and living in Missouri. My opinion that CWW never truly "lived" in St. Pete but was bragging as if he did based on his connection to TS and MS. MS threw a longtime friend a job via his wife's practice and who knows? there could be a reason for MS giving CWW the job which also benefitted MS

Was it really that quickly? They waited until they had video evidence of him being in the area before they arrested him! I'm still not understanding what is taking so damn long.

JMO but I think ppl are making too big of a deal over the resemblance of MS and WW. I think a lot of men who are bald, wear glasses, have a mustache and goatee would look similar. Their noses are very much different, eyes too. WW has a much larger head/face.....IMO.

They are going to be related.. same father different mother.. born a few months apart.. raised to be best friends.. not knowing they were 1/2 brothers.. maybe one never knew his father at all.. JMO OR MAYBE both mothers used same sperm bank donor!

Photo shows he was booked Aug 30, 2011 and released Jan 3, 2012 so to me that would be just over 4 months served.

I believe this is the same CWR. Looks younger and has the same date of birth. By the release date, did he served a couple of years? There is an age discrepancy between the article and this info:

It appears that Curtis Wayne Wright was more than just a close childhood friend of MS, he also provided computer services to Dr Teresa's Estero clinic:

"A source close to the Sievers family said Wright worked as a computer technician for Teresa Sievers' practice in Estero.

While he lived in Missouri, he would occasionally fly down to work on the office's computer systems. He was also able to work on them remotely from Missouri."
