Ever since DA's arrest I've been wondering, they made the plane reservations right after CA's conviction, was a week out the quickest flight (w/connecting flight to a non-extradition country) they could get?

Or did they know that the GJ was meeting on Wed. and DA thought they could get out of the country before an indictment was handed down, thinking she couldn't be arrested until there was an indictment?

Still so many questions about why they've done what they've done.

I haven’t really seen a lot of photos of Donna so I don’t know if she’s one of those ladies who always wears a lot of make up. I honestly didn’t think she looked that bad in her mug shot. Well …except the profile view. Her EARS! I actually studied the photo for a minute in complete fascination. I think she’s had a face lift.

What about her ears? I'll have to have another "gander" at the mug shot. I DO believe you are right on the money (unwashed, that is) -- I think she definitely has had a face lift and possibly a nose adjustment.

ETA someone upthread mentioned that pleas are cheaper than trials, so I was just wondering if one would even be offered.

If the Prosecutors needs a trial for DA so they can possibly arrest WA, it's probably a no plea deal for grandma.

OTOH, if P feel they can arrest WA without a trial, then maybe DA will be offered a deal. I wish we were privy to the Prosecutor's Office's future plans bc I'm impatient like that.

I don't know how much these trials are costing. Does anyone have that data handy? Worth every dime. But, if they could save a million $$ by offering a criminal a plea deal, then they should.

I'll guess that the CA verdict caught them by surprise and that booking the flight seven days out gave them the needed time to get finances (trusts) together, make arrangements for the condo, say goodbyes, etc.

I think if I were the victim of a violent crime, I might not want my perp to be offered a plea deal, but that’s just me. States gotta do what they gotta do, but often times I do believe they consult the victims’s family before a plea deal is offered. That’s my understanding anyway.

The cosmetic surgery of applying eyebrow color, eyelid liner and upper lip liner is done by tattooing. DA's is obviously visible without her foundation makeup etal. The jail isn't giving her access to lipstick.

Personally, I like it better than a faded out look which she'll have by the time her trial rolls around.

She mentioned to the police her brother joked about hiring a hitman, she admitted she joked to Jeff Lacasse about her brother hiring a hitman and only hours before her ex was killed by hitmen, she admitted her she had joked to the TV repairman about her brother hiring a hitman. The joke being her brother bought her a TV as it was cheaper than hiring a hitman... 3 separate individuals shell recounted that joke to...

And her attorney [Marisol (last name?)] said that they are waiving extradition from Miami-Dade to Leon County. Judge Mandy S. Glazer, Presiding, said that Leon County [the Florida County in which Tallahassee is located] has 15 days in which to pick up DA. She said that the "reset date" (what is a "reset date"?) is [Friday] November 29 [2023], "to make sure that you get picked up." [Like they would forget about her!]

I could not, for the life of me, make out the last name of Marisol, DA's attorney, at DA's first court appearance on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 09:48:24 hours (that was the day after her arrest). Try as I might, I could not hear Marisol's last name. [Please, I hope I am not going to be needing hearing aids soon!]

If that’s what she has, she had it done nicely. I’ve seen some over done lips and eyeliner around here that just makes older ladies look too harsh.

And yet Charlie did both- bought the TV and hired a hitman, and Wendi also tried to throw LE on a wild goose chase after LaCasse.

The State of Florida is supposed to consult a victim’s family before offering a plea deal… I know personally that’s not always done but they should. I’m sure they would hear.

Oh, oh, oh! I follow this lady on YouTube (Palm Springs Cindy). She is 72-73, and recently had her facelift #2 (the first was at age 50). This time, the plastic surgeon cut off the excess earlobes that were hanging down, like turkey wattles (reminder to all of us to get the big bird for upcoming Thanksgiving dinner). I have noticed my own 'lobes are longer (in the tooth?) than years ago (I will be 70 in December!). It happens over time, and something that creeps up on you without your noticing. Apparently, if you have worn heavy earrings over the years (as was the fashion in the 80's-90's -- remember the "door knocker" earrings?), your lobes could drag down further than someone who wore lightweight earrings. [Off topic and "fun"? fact.]

Oh I definitely wore the door knocker earrings of the 80’s! Now I need to go look in my own mirror and inspect my own ear lobes! Lol
