Also what strikes me about her testimony this morning is it feels as if she's taking some tips to try and restore the damage she did to her credibility yesterday. I think WA is the kind of person who'd be intensely interested on gauging opinion in how she'd come across. David Lat - lawyer who knew DM - was on STS last night, alongside 5 other lawyers & DM-case legal experts and Lat made point that so far there was a real contrast between how she answered Georgia's questions vs Rushbaum's. Lat said she couldn't recall so many things for Georgia but remembered everything when Rushbaum asked her questions. It was pretty obvious.

I think she watched STS last night & this is why, this morning, she doesn't recall so much when she's questioned by Rushbaum today.

Has Charlie BEEN to Miami? What “Cuban Neighborhood?“ It’s a big city, and there are a lot of people from all over Latin America, from all different social classes. Even Little Havana has people from all over. This isn’t Scarface. This isn’t 1965. There’s no “Cuban neighborhood” where criminals live. Sigfredo was Cuban, but Luis wasn’t. This always seems like such a dumb brag for Charlie.

I believe Lacasse. He said he was pretty pathetic at the time and I agree with that. I mean Wendi allegedly forced him and her sons to watch a shattered tv when a working tv was available. Why would you stay with someone who does that? He was not making good romantic decisions with Wendi IMO.

Charlie is just so cringe. Yep, SG was of Cuban descent but I think LR was Puerto Rican. Charlie is stuck in Scarface but we don’t want to say hello to his little friend, at all.

It was too bad WA dated a prof who was an expert in mental health and psychology because he seemed to pick up on all her and her family’s dynamics expertly. He read her and them like a book and when he went to the police and started talking about how creeped out he was by CA in particular, he totally was on the exact right track.

yes it was definitely a good thing that Lacasse himself said ' I was pretty pathetic' at that time & I do hope that many jurors will see that admission as a mark of an honest man. ( However not all jurors are gonna see things as we do)

Meanwhile Jane, the former social worker, bought into all of Wendi's BS and is now a prof at one university or another. Great judgment Jane.

If we ever see a trial for WA, wonder if we'll ever see her testify?

I think LaCasse was good, I’d believe him. He seemed like he was telling the truth, no blinking or throat-clearing, etc. He did reveal more now than before, but the jury didn’t see him before. His demeanor suggested nothing but honesty. He didn’t appear to be making up the thing about Charlie hiring a hit man, not at all. He’s pretty unflappable.

From day one, I've believed that CA was obsessed with playing gansta and when the opportunity to take Dan out came up, he relished the idea -- he'd been practicing this part for decades! KM made his dream come true. That was her attraction. MOO
 
I feel Jeff was very credible. I don’t feel that Rashbaum scored many points in his cross.

Wendy didn’t call police when CA made the hitman joke either, so why should Jeff think he should have immediately after she made that comment?
 
Do LaCasse and Wendi run into each other in the elevator?

I don't think this witness -- Ryan Fitzpatrick, CA's former friend -- testified at the earlier trials.
