Goldie Robinson: Reward increased for info on missing elderly woman

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news...woman-daytona-reward-20100831,0,3807964.story

snipped with some recycled news mixed in with a few new bits.

Kimberly Smith was "the self-appointed caretaker" of both older people, police said. Neighbors told officers that Smith, whom they knew as "Dawn," was seen going into Sheldon's home at Lamplighter Mobile Home Community dressed as a nurse, Hall said. Investigators say she has no nursing credentials.

The above bold would make a few of my posts incorrect, so maybe those
should be removed? It's strange that everything matched up with KDS but LE knows more than I do.

So, I'm sorry if I misled anyone. :(

Robinson's niece, Donna Stose, was the last person to see the elderly woman on July 8 and met Smith.

"She just befriended her that way and was just helping her out, and she said she was a nurse," Stose said.

A check with the Florida Department of Health's Nursing License Division found that although there are dozens of Kimberly Smiths, the one that was taking care of Robinson is not among them.

There were no records found that indicated Smith is a licensed nurse in Florida. However, when Stose saw her aunt, she claimed Smith was acting as a health care provider and medicated Robinson for heat stroke.

"I found her in bed and nonresponsive. I could not wake her up," Stose said.

:furious:

According to the article....

Police are trying to figure out if the Smith clan has been lying to them? Really?? :banghead:

Remind me to stay away from this county and Putnam county if I ever visit Florida!

Yeah, I don't know if I should laugh or cry that LE could be this in the dark, or they are letting these criminals just THINK that they are in the dark.

I just wonder what kind of drugs were being given to the deceased and missing?

I hope that they are doing toxicology tests on Arthur Sheldon. Hopefully they can find something!

Every time I read this thread I find myself more and more stunned!

Predators of the elderly are everywhere, but this group takes the cake. moo mho

Some knew her as Yaya, some knew her as Dawn or Kierston. Kimberly Smith went by many different names. Police still aren't sure if Kimberly is even her real name.

A flat screen television and stereo system were rented in Arthur Sheldon's ex-wife's name. Sheldon was found dead behind Smith's home last week. Neighbors say they witnessed Smith bringing the electronics home and the store manager told Local 6, Kimberly Smith used another name to make her purchases.

The tenant told police she and her husband knew Smith, but at the time she went by the name of Kierston. Smith also told the couple she had a twin sister named, "Kimberly."

A con artist down to her bones. I wonder if she even remembers how to tell the truth anymore about anything.

They need to check everywhere she lived. This didn't just start, I wouldn't be surprised to hear there are more victims. I also think Arthur and Goldie didn't go along with their scheme, perhaps threatened to call LE so they turned to murder to silence them.

I was afraid of that! Is her son really "her" son? What a psycho she is and NO conscience at all. None of them, whoever they are. Quite a
little criminal enterprise she has going. And there is NO mention of any
relatives on any of these criminals coming forward that I have heard of.

I found a court document that shows enos and the "son" were living together in port orange. I believe the mastermind was in prison at the time, so they have been together for a while.

How old is "Ya Ya"?

She looks close to my age, or she's aged hard. Anyone know?

Well, if that's the address she gave to LE, then I hope that they
check on the people that own the place and make sure they're
still alive. :banghead:

And while they're at it, they need to get a search warrant and
see any more dead people are buried there. What a piece of work
this sorry :loser:is.

I have been looking into DE and Kimberly Smith....I do believe DE is Originally from PA and he is about 7 years younger than KS I found another alias for her which is Kimberly Smith-Enos *sighs*
Theres also a possible roomate of DE listed upon searching his name I found several property records.
This is reminding me of the Abraham case where they shot him ect buried him under patio and said he ran away cause he had won the lottery :(

SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. -- A reward has been increased for information about the disappearance of a 78-year-old South Daytona woman and the discovery of a body across the street from her mobile home.

A South Daytona police spokesman says a $2,500 reward is being offered for the information. The department contributed $1,500 to increase the award from $1,000.

Hopefully this is enough to encourage some of her greedy money hungry cohorts to come forward!

Help! what drug is given for heat stroke? none that I have ever heard of.

snipped:

"Smith was visited in the Orange County Jail by David Enos, who she claimed is her husband, but there's no record of that either."

Duh!

snipped:

"The home in which they were living doesn't come up in a property records search as being owned by Smith or Enos."
______________________________________________

How many rocket scientists were used to figure this out?
Yet they allowed this criminal to use an address that is
owned by an elderly REAL ESTATE man! Granted, the owner
doesn't live there and is probably renting it out, but it
isn't to this thief or her traveling band of gypsies.:furious::banghead:

Goldie's case is one of those which especially tugs at my heart. Can't stand to see it on the second page. Bumping, and praying, for you this morning sweet lady. I hope today will be the day you are found.

Bumping this back up off of the second page.

This case is about a possible serial killer and most certainly should stay on the front burner.

Did anyone find any other elderly people that have died suspiously? I guess that's the problem. Elderly people die every day from "natural causes" and no alarm is sounded. Since most do not have an autopsy, it's almost like the perfect crime.

I wish we could get some info.
