Praying for quick answers for his family
Spent a good portion of this evening very emotional about this news. Held it together while I was at work when the need broke. Hope is once again sparked that a mother may again hold her son.... Yet that same mother doesn't have an answer she yearns for. And another family is facing more pain. Where are you, Jabez?Skeletal remains found in Sarasota creek not those of missing teen, cops say

Sarasota police confirmed Tuesday through work with the District 12 Medical Examiner's Office by using dental records that the remains do not belong to Jabez Spann.

Update:
ABC7 EXCLUSIVE: Jabez Spann spotted on MLK Way before disappearance
http://www.mysuncoast.com/news/loca...cle_76ab888e-5ad7-11e8-b585-b36fad2ad561.html
She told ABC7 exclusively, a witness saw Jabez with two other boys on September 4, 2017 around 1 a.m. just hours before he was reported missing. Spann says she knows one of the kids, and is hoping the other unidentified boy can provide information.
"Was there anybody they met up with? Was there anybody they might have seen him get in the car with?" questioned Spann.
"I just know somebody knows what happened to my nephew and the city is too small for something like that," said Latohya Jakes, Jabez's aunt.
Both Spann and Jakes believe this detail is important. His last known sighting on M.L.K. Way places him in the middle of Newtown's early morning Labor Day festivities.
"People could've been taking photos, that could've been taking videos, they could've been going live. I want people to go back and look at those," said Spann.
His family thinks Jabez could be in the background of those pictures or footage may reveal the person who is responsible for his disappearance.
Sarasota detectives say any small piece of information can help with the investigation.
