Thank heavens this horrid man has been captured.

Sunshine Motel ...huh
may this be forever the end of sunshine for this psycho killer....

I don't understand why he was ever on the streets with that history. :(

It was just like the scary movie Vacancy I felt like the front desk was watching me from a hidden camera in my room I stayed in room ten the chairs were stained the carpet dirty n stink the beds had bugs me n my.

The movie was scary as heck.

This motels is walking distance to Amtrak train station. Rooms are clean and price is reasonable. Administrators are helpful, but you will have to ring the bell to get the help. Easy access to fast food restaurants. Recommending to everyone. Thanks

City center. Nice people. Gas stations and restaurants across the street. Fast wi-fi. Walking distance from Amtrak. Peaceful at night. Service is nice. I asked for extra towels and soap and they helped happily.

our system is extremely screwed up. They get TV, snacks, hot meals, medical care while veterans and mentally ill homeless get little. All in the name of politically correct. I am down for public hangings again- especially in cases where there is no reasonable doubt

Our laws need to be changed to include technology

if your seen and it is confirmed on video or stuff like that -- you cant plead not guilty and carry on for 4 years

its gotten so absurd

laws were written before all this and need to be rewritten

Well, he's going back where he wanted to be...so he can have his medical paid for.... meanwhile, Jennifer's family isn't offered that luxury. They are paying for a funeral...and the lost of a future with Jennifer.

I'm relieved that this evil human has been captured. My heart hurts for Jennifer's family.

I'm thinking someone may have recognized this and called in the tip...
...someone from the motel?
Or maybe the TacoBell across the street?
I'm interested to know how he was tracked-down.

Meanwhile, this poor family will have to carry on with this tragedy forever.
It will never go away.

I actually have a knot in my stomach from this case.

I wish I could serve on the jury of this one.

I was ill and just came back to find these sad news! I'm so sorry for Jennifer and her family. May she rest in peace.

Glad they got him so quickly. Like others said, he should have not been on the streets. A very violent man!

What a heartbreak for her family, especially with the new baby, all the joy being overshadowed by this heinous and senseless crime. So sad :(

I'm sure every hotel motel in Florida was faxed his face.

Her car was located at a Publix on Colonial. They're not specifying which one, but I can say that the Orlando Union Rescue Mission is quite close to Colonial.

This article doesn't give any more details about where her body was actually found. I've heard on a local radio show that it was found around Apopka Vineland Rd., and another local program mentioned "Southwest Orlando", which if both are accurate, is very close to where I live.

Have there been any details released about how they found the body?

A rough general drive from Apopka Vineland area in SW Orlando to Colonial Drive Publix nearest the mission is a good 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

This <modsnip> should die for what he has done to Jennifer and her family.

I pray the state of Florida makes him pay dearly by placing this monster on the fast track to the death chamber, as his trial, conviction and hopefully death sentence, cannot happen fast enough.

I'm so sorry this has happened and my condolences to Jennifer, her family, friends and loved ones.

I know we all want to the answer to the million dollar question...why was this menace to society out free roaming the streets looking for his next victim and why did he have to kill her?

Monster took Jennifer away but he did not take her pride and her beautiful soul.
Godspeed, Jennifer

Evil wears tacky eye popping blue trainers.

Horrible!! They say transients are harmless. I heard he was considered one. I'm hearing more and more that they are not necessarily harmless.

He's been released from prison for a very short time. Not a typical homeless person at all.

Was thinking more transient than homeless, but I did imply homeless I suppose. My poor brain!

I can't remember the difference, but there is some sort of legal difference between calling someone a suspect vs. a person of interest.

A person ofinterest is someone police want to talk to for information about a case; asuspect is somebody officers think may be directly involved in the crime. Sometimes a person of interest becomes a suspect, but not always.

I've known people who have resided in homeless shelters for a limited time due to circumstances...specifically in Orlando. They have shared mugging and stalking stories, and lived there in constant fear, particularly the walk areas to and from the bus routes closest to the shelter. I would agree that many people who use the system are dangerous to some degree.

This is upsetting on many levels. Life is terribly unfair when such violence is visited upon one just going about their life in everyday surroundings. Places where one feels most safe and secure.

And while I know this type of horrible event can happen anywhere this one happened in the lovely and seemingly safe neighborhood of my childhood and teen years just across the fairway from my grammar school and church. My family members are buried in the cemetery down the street from the crime scene. For this to have happened in this location in daytime is unbelievable. Now I have learned Ms. Fulford lived just across the way from close relatives and while visiting them I would pass her house daily on the way to the community swimming pool.

If this arrestee is the killer I hope we eventually learn from him the truth of exactly how he was able to access the house, commit the murder, get her to come with him if that is how it happened. We do need to learn from these sad events how to try to protect ourselves in future.

Many of my clients over the years have been homeless and the reality of shelter living is why there are those who prefer the streets to shelters. I do know they try to keep shelters safe but it is often a population with unstable individuals.
