I think LE is going after him to start. She has already lied lied lied,but she had immunity, it's a shame they have to play the Devil's game,and give her immunity to get him. They should not have to. I agree Maddie deserves justice. What if LE can't prove who actually killed Maddie? Seems like that would be a bad position for them to be in. Hopefully that is not the case, here...
Another thing that stuck out to me. Jen talked about being vigilant about Madeline sleeping over at other people's houses,and her reason for that, yet allowed that thing to 'sleep' with Madeline. It's sickening. I find it very telling that Madeline wanted out when she turned 13. Was reportedly upset at Grandma's,and did not want to go back to the Condo. Then poof she's dead. In the early morning hours. Then there's the pregnancy tests Jen not sure if they both are still there,why is that???? Why would they be there in the first place, if Jen,and Stern's are not active? It's just a status hearing, I believe, so all they will do is basically see how the case is progressing, address admin issues, see if theyre on track, need more time, etc etc. maybe enter a guilty plea???? ( but doubt it)
LE asking about the pregnancy test,and her answer. I think that may be the catalyst for everything,and why it all happened when it did. Although she may not have been pregnant there is a very high probability that there was a pregnancy scare. Then it was game on. She wanted out when she turned 13. But don't you think that it is completely wrong to let a grown man, no matter how well you know him, sleep with your daughter or any young female? I have too many friend who were molested by their own father, and no one suspected except the mother in most cases, until the young female finally came forward or someone else did. As a mother, you usually are the person closest to your daughter. I know my mother intuitively would have noted a change in my demeanor or ""aura" very quickly if anyone were molesting me. IMO, the eye opener is the ride to Operations...where she thinks she is going to attend the press conference. she's all happy in the car, chatty about SS, him, and Sister Act, her life in new york, her life before child. it was downright disturbing that she wasnt falling apart, namely WHY she is in a police vehicle and where she is going and WHY.... Madeline, her daughter, is MISSING. chatty, upbeat.
but keeps her blood appt..drives there. initially, cant remember if SS was home when she got there...."She thinks he was'. but then, oh yeah. he was sitting in my bedroom. he reset his phone by accident and blah blah blah. Again, IMO, JS very adept at giving explanations that everyone would chew and swallow.
