Antifreeze is typically green, occasionally orange for some cars (GMs I think)....it might exist specifically for some makes and models, but I can't say I've ever seen it.

But for a blue liquid in a garage, it really could be anything.

I was just cleaning in the garage (yep, great fun) and happened to notice a bottle of windshield cleaner that is very blue and apparently extremely dangerous. It contains methanol.

The first 2 are caustic. One has descalers and the other caustic clear the clog chemicals.

This is the most likely scenario for me for a blue liquid in a drinkable bottle.

Mea Culpa. I just watched the Dr Phil while it was a handy link and WH only commented on AH drinking tea, not himself also as I was thinking. So, it describes what AH did in Duffey's. no big deal.

Why the emphasis on dehydration? Did they go straight to the restaurant following the hike/run? I am sure AH knows iced tea is a diuretic. He is an athlete & knows to do a cool off unless that sprint really did seem effortless, but would still rehydrate and probably have sport drinks. Haven't ruled out beer with dad.

WH is so vague, neither describing exact behaviors/situations nor verbatim utterances, he does himself and AH no favors.

AH did not "vanish", he walked away from a uncalled for and embarrassing situation with his father.

I would walk away from that.

Dad was impulsive and confrontational, what was he drinking?

1 in 4 American families have an alcoholic member.

And one of them in this family has a history.

ETA: Oh wait he had just walked to his mom's and attempted to drink oil. Don't think someone would drink oil due to dehydration.

Just found that some believe drinking oil coats the stomach and one can drink and not get as drunk or have a hangover.

LE neither confirm nor deny presence of alcohol. Or steroids for that matter. And repeating myself, caustic chemical too. I firmly believe they have this information.

Were going Pike County again -- seems to happen more and more and jmo not OK. We the people have a right to know. What investigation is there? This is not a who done it - cops walked up on a man eating another mans face.

Now, I dont know maybe its been like this forever- and since being on here for the last several years I have learned that most stories just vanish without resolution and the media lets them.

I so agree. I dispise when they hold pressers and say cant comment. I think that is why the frustration on this case is getting so frustrating. Boy did I read the Sheriff wrong -I thought he was gonna be good - forthcoming etc etc .

It does amaze me that he has not passed. Youth I guess. But he was not in good shape (Duffy video is a scranny kid - bath salts - decrease appetite?) Look at the video again - if we knew nothing about him (YT) he would be described as "lanky".

It just occured to me - drastic wieght loss - bath salts - bird shooting- maybe he only recently got super addicted to the junk-like do it daily or something - like a total spiral down in a week.

BUT then I get caught in my tracks -- he did not drop a dirty urine. So, that takes me back- I think that is signfigant.

Does anyone know exactly how many days before the bird shooting was? More than one shot? Why weren't the police called? Gun shots are not a common noise in those communites!! Just aint! I learned a lot from Pike county- like people/posters saying we hear shots all the time - blew my mind!!

All I can say is dumb lawyer! She rates right up there with the Okla dentist I read about a few years ago. Stayed so drunk on Lortab, somebody finally turned him into the police!
Gun shots...back in the late 70's my husband's bro & SIL liked going out and shooting clay pigeons. We went out with them once when they came to visit. That was about as much fun as going to sleep! Mike actually did get a gun later on, and occasionally he and a neighbor's son would go out and practice together. But Mike knew I was bored to death with that kind of stuff, so he didn't expect me to tag along. But never lived where we were likely to hear gun shots from hunters.

I dated a man who hunted, fished, gardened & foraged for food.
I knew when things were in season and was not alarmed by gunfire.
His, or neighboring.
Our diet was very healthy comparatively.

I would like to know if AH's precarious health is due solely to drinking caustic chemicals or if there is organ damage due to bath salts? We don't know yet whether he took bath salts or not.
