Thanks. I was thinking Maura. But, unless I am mistaken, Maria didn't have any children either. I could read every thread on WS and will never believe that Michelle simply walked away from her kids. LE doesn't believe it either, that is why Dale was named prime suspect. Just with the information we have,
IMO, EVERYTHING points to Dale. LE has wayyy more facts and evidence than we do, and they know they have the right person responsible.

Just wanted to add. I am not really of the opinion either that she just up and left, but how does any of us know what she would do? Sometimes even people you know throw you for a loop as to what they do. All we know of Michelle is what is posted. Maybe she hated her life and decided to chuck it all in. No one knows the private thoughts people have.

There have been at least a couple of cases I know of where a woman up and left, usually due to abuse. And one recently where the woman left her kids behind. It's a possibility!

Those cases are few and far between, however.

I know of a couple too that is why I said that. I personally can not imagine actually doing that but there have been days in my life that I wish I could leave on a loooooong vacation. Now, IF and I say IF she did leave she obvisouly could not have taken the Hummer.

I agree that no one knows what she was thinking..but if she walked away, why would Dale feel the need to lie about what time she dropped the twins off that day? Again, he was off by 42 minutes.
And why would he go online using an alias to imply that Michelle was a well known escort unless he was trying to place blame elsewhere and cover his tracks.

Actually "we" don't have much if any info as to what happened to Michelle and as far as I'm concerned neither does LE. Also, nothing DIRECTLY points to Dale at all. I know, he's a bad man who has a checkered past. I'm not talking about all that. I'm talking about actual direct proof that Dale is responsible for the disappance of Michelle. I'm all ears if anyone would like to post some.

Ok for sake of argument here…let’s assume that there is no DNA, witnesses, or physical proof that Dale was responsible. This MAY be the case. Just because none of those exist doesn’t mean he is innocent. There are NUMEROUS cases where you know who was involved but cannot prove it (OJ, Josh Powell, etc, etc). There are also plenty of cases where innocent people get convicted for crimes they never commited….However, in Michelle’s case, I can count at LEAST 10 red flags that lead back to Dale:

1) Last known person to see her alive
2) Lied about when she arrived and left
3) Had a financial incentive to see her disappear
4) Refused to take a lie detector test
5) Did not help in ANY searches or activities to help locate Michelle BEFORE being named a suspect. Besides a few “poor me” posts on FB, what did he do to help find Michelle?
6) Michelle’s phone (pings and activity) start at Dale’s condo and travel same path toward Rose Blvd. (where Dale’s destination for the day was). Phone was ultimately found midway between Jr and Srs.
7) Dale was missing and refused to answer MULTIPLE incoming phone calls during the most critical point when Michelle went missing (within first 2 hours).
8) Told Michelle “You’re day is coming”
9) Using a ficticious FB account, Dale claimed Michelle was a known escort and one of her “customers” did something to her.
10) Physically and mentally abused her in the past and left her stranded on multiple occasions.

Take one of these and it can go either way, but when you add up all the FACTS you see a pretty compelling pattern that leads back to one SINGLE person…That’s why Dale was and will continue to be the PRIME suspect. Other than that I have no strong opinions…

Don't know, but maybe he just got the time wrong, it's possible. I didn't realise Dale had said she was an escort wow! Even if she was (NOT SAYING SHE IS) that's not a reason to place blame on her BUT it wold warrant a better look at her past and maybe LE would start to look into things a little deeper.

Again, looking into Michelle's past I believe is what needs to be done to find a possible suspect and NOT to place blame. I have no horse in this race. I just hope who ever did it get s what's coming to them. My hope is that she is alive and just needed a break from life.

I missed that... DS went online under an alias and posted that M is a well-known escort? How do we know he did that, if he was under an alias?

What exactly is the charge for "disappearing an adult"? I don't believe there is one other than murder. There is apparently no physical evidence that Michelle is dead although I'm sure at this point LE is 99.99% sure that she is. Searching lakes and forested areas would seem to indicate this. Unfortunately without any physical evidence of her being deceased, that is not enough to convince a jury in a court of law that she is. So there is nothing for them to be able to charge him with and get a conviction at the moment. Same as Josh Powell. And that drew out for over two years with disastrous results. And they still have not been able to confirm that Susan is in fact dead. LE can't take a chance on the circumstantial evidence that they do have because they only get one shot at a conviction.

And all of the circumstantial evidence that Jazzmaster has listed in the above post are just the things that we the public know about. We have no idea what other information may have been gleaned from her cell records or what his cell records indicate as well as other witness statements and evidence found with the abandoned vehicle.

DSJr has been very fortunate that Michelle has not been found. It's quite possible that once she is, and that could be at any moment, he will be charged with first degree murder.

If you check back earlier in the thread Dale was linked via his email to a FB account under the name Buck Fuddy. "Buck" left a comment to GP, Michelle's step mom claiming Michelle was a known escort and that she should go check with some of Michelle's customers to find Michelle. IMO LE has a record of this activity...

Her vehicle was found stripped of it's decals miles away from her phone which was tossed in a lake. She was not on her way to work or anywhere near her work when she went missing. She was at her ex boyfriend's house, a felon and a very violent man, who lied to police and then clammed up when they asked him to take a polygraph about those lies.

How one can be compared to another is a mystery to me.

Well I for one will not hope you are right, because that will mean she is dead. I am hoping she is alive for the sake of her kids and family. I wasn't comparing her case to this one, more an example that people do walk away from their lives, maybe not Michelle, but that makes the out come pretty bad.

In comparing Michelle's case to Josh Powell, realize that WVCPD had a great deal more evidence that the public was not aware of. Only a portion of that evidence was released lately. We still do not even know what other evidence they have.

What do we really know regarding the evidence that LE has against Dale? We DON'T know. They could have a stack of evidence that we have no idea about. Unless everything in their file was released, we do not know what other evidence they have against Dale. It is very similar to Josh IMHO. Another similarity is that his father is a bit wacked out too. This gives me a very good indication that Sr would certainly help Jr cover any possible crime that he may / may not have committed.

What I find curious is when someone posts an opinion contrary to popular opinion ie Dale not responsible for Michelle's disappearance some people get their feathers ruffled and think it a conspiracy. My feelings have never changed if you go back and read my posts. Also, how can someone post info to clear Dale when there is not one shred of evidence that implicates him in Michelle's demise?
