I keep thinking that they ought to bring the dogs out for the Rose pond search, especially with all the buzzards around. They can detect difference between human and animal remains.

Do we know what the "Waterford" text was all about? I found a couple of "Waterford" in Orlando that stood out...Self Storage http://www.extraspace.com/Storage/Facilities/US/Florida/Orlando/501239/Facility.aspx

Could she have been trying to give a location where she had been taken?

Just want to make sure this is cleared up, as I've seen it referenced several different times, and living here, i frequent the area, and am very familiar with it...

"waterford" (also referrred to as waterford lakes) is a shopping area / subdivision. A lot of the businesses in the area incorporate waterford in their name. It's a very busy , highly trafficked area , due to it's proximity to the university, and to titusville (we don't have much in the way of shopping in t-ville, we travel to orlando to shop) . Anytime I've gone to that area , i've said I'm going to "waterford". It's like saying you're going to "walmart". I highly doubt it was code - reports have shown her phone was no where near waterford, so it doesn't look like she ever was physically there. So either, she was intending to go and never made it- or someone sent that text for her as a decoy.(let's remember, the first day this story broke Dale told investigators after she left she said she was going shopping- so either she really planned on that and he had nothing to do with anything ... or he was building a story of where she was going) But i think looking at it having been "code" is looking in the wrong direction. "Waterford" would be a common destination for someone from this area to say they were going.

All these searches in and around that area must be an attempt to find the phone?

Call it a gut feeling but I suspect the phone and MP was separated. Anyone that's went to this amount of trouble to cover their tracks isn't going foul up by making it that easy. I would suggest looking in the opposite direction of where the phone last pinged and where the truck was found. All of that is to the west and north west of where she was last seen. So they need to search to the east and south east...

Do the locals in the area have the large black birds migrating to your area this time of the year?

On the west coast they are beginning to arrive in droves.

Actually if they had reports that a woman's fence was cut and there exist a rather large amount of buzzards over the pond in her yard, I would be more apt to think they are looking for a body. Don't mean to be crude, but we all know what those water searches are for.

I've seen blackbirds and crows but the only time I ever see buzzards is when they're onto food. Of course, I'm about 30 miles from the search area.

Yikes did TM really say that?
Have been without power since yesterday, due to winds...still without, atually, using a neighbor's router to get online :) (With permission of course...)

Unfortunately (IMO), those were his exact words, clu. I'll see if I can find you the link, but it was on yesterday's Special Report on HLN.

People can be easily confused between black birds and buzzards especially when the black birds are circling to land.

I have these buzzards circling today in front of my yard to the next street over. They will fly around looking for food, such a field mice, small animals and even little dogs. But when they find dead animals you will see lots of them on the ground at the site and some swooping down for the carcass.
