I agree, the ponds don't have fencing around them. I am thinking when you drive down some of the roads, you see the fencing to keep out animals and such, some times there is water pools, like retention ponds. If she ran off the road in an area as this, you may see some sign of it, but I don't know that is what happened either. I do know, I will not travel alone around Orlando at any time of day or night.

Sorry if I came off harsh, typing and speaking are not the same, hope I didn't offend you.

Lol you didn't come off harsh at all & you certainly didn't offend any of us. Sorry to jump in but I feel comfortable enough to say I love how this thread is coming along with everyone sharing their own perspectives, idea, concerns. It's nothing less than caring & respectful. Hopefully we can somehow make a difference.

The fencing is def to keep the animals away from the road, & not just gators either. True story... I was exiting Kirkman Rd one night & almost crashed. I ran over an armadillo - swear to gosh an armadillo - ruined my undercarriage! Mustang! Ford tough my butt! They should say Ford tough but not tough enough for an armadillo!

Florida has been under extreme drought conditions for a long, long time. Most bodies of water are not deep enough to conceal a vehicle. Three years ago, there was a lake behind my house. Now it's a field. The likelihood of Sandra veering off the road and finding one of the few bodies of water deep enough to hide a vehicle from sight is very, very small. If she did not voluntarily disappear, she may have been carjacked or raped and murdered.

It is very dark on the highways and roads here. That was one thing I noticed when I got here. There are many times me and my husband traveled from Orando to Tampa and the trip at night was hard on the eyes. You have to pay attention and if it rains it is worse. The pavement is black, no street lights or they are far apart and many times you are the only one on the road for miles. I would never stop to pick up anyone or pull off to help, I would call 911, that is it.

Very, very true! It is so dark at night on the roads here!

So it was a clear night, some moonlight lit the area.. sounds like a really nice night.

Does Sandra maybe have a boyfriend that she sees a lot but still does online dating on the side while she's seeing him? Maybe?

IDK, that could be the case. But I think it would be mentioned on the son's fb. Maybe not, though.

I'm almost starting to wonder if this family could light a fire under the cops' hineys by maybe having the gmom report her van stolen for crying out loud. Maybe then they'd get her last cell pings & phone activity, unless they've already done so.

Also, we can't talk too much about the family's FB pages but I believe I am allowed to mention this -

In reviewing just about everyone in her family, it appears as though they may not know how to escalate awareness in Sandra's disappearance. They need to contact law enforcement on a daily basis. They need to contact the media, news papers, local news stations. They need to go to FL & organize searches, starting with hanging up MISSING posters. Also, they need to clean up their pages or they won't be taken seriously.

I was trying to find a common link to others that are missing in the area, and the only thing I see is; they were white, mid 20 to 40 in age, so not real young, not real old. They were single, alone and cute or pretty.

Yes they do, they need to do all of that, but they live very far away, and probably don't have money to come here, so they need people here to beat the drum. No matter what she was doing, dating or meeting men, she deserves to be found. You never know what will turn up while searching for one victim, you may run across another one.

Plus weight is a factor. All around 120-135.

I'm all of a sudden wondering about her diabetes. Was she born with it or was it self inflicted?

What about fb or myspace accounts?

Waddaya mean? As in a link? Only thing I can think of is maybe a bar? That's just a shot in the dark but 1 st thing that came to mind. Wonder where her normal hangouts were, places she liked to "party"...

I was thinking maybe a "friend of a friend" any thing on any of the pages, where they hung out, or shopped, something that would connect them in some way. I know it is a lonnnnnng shot, but you have to check all angles.
