Sorta off-topic but this story is really sickening.....if you can stomach it-read the indictment which warns of graphic content-truly horrendous and disturbing. Can't believe he was teaching for years. (Mods-if this is prohibited please remove.) This is making headlines across parts of Texas. This typ of sex offender, to me, is as bad as one who murders.

I think this should stay up. It is good solid proof that predators do have a type, and they rarely deviate. The pictures and videos that he had saved, tell by their names that he was always interested and focused on female children, had a real penchant for a certain type of assault, and the age range stays in the same area.

There are sooo many offenders out there. I've been hesitating to post this but, on the FBI website, they have an internet child explotation section, where they have pictures, and videos of unknown wanted offenders. Just warning you though, it will make you want to throw up when you hear what the offenders say to the children (they have audio and video clips of the videos, ALL OF THESE VIDEOS WERE FOUND ON THE NET) . How they manipulate kids is disgusting, but it does give you an idea of the manipulations they use.
Who knows, you guys are great sleuthers, maybe you will recognize one of these , or maybe Somer's killer is looking at us from that screen.

Not to be disrespectful to anyone, but if someone in AA is responsible for Somer's abduction and murder, I would hope that someone would shout his name from the rooftops.

If they are responsible absolutely! But I don't think a full name should be used just because someone thinks someone could be responsible,JMO.

Why did she go pick up the eldest 13 year old son at the park? She was at work so she wouldn't normally pick him up there at that time, imo. What was he doing there?
Why were there an officer at the corner of Gano and Floyd Circle West? How far away is that location from the 1080 Gano home?
Why would CPC take the little boy twin of Somer with him in the search? Why not leave him with his mother, D and the other children? I would want all my children with me immediately and not leave my side until I found Somer.
I don't understand the mistaken identity of CWG on the police report?
Could Connie S know more than what she is saying?

Directions from where Diena worked in Jacksonville to her home can take you right past the school on Miller St. and down Gano. She probably drove that way to look for Somer on the way (I would). It could be she simply spotted her son at the park while looking. Backtracking to drive around the block of the school would put her in place at Floyd Circle W.

maybe the pair that lived near that fire last night need to be looked into. I don't know that they could be mistaken for Hispanics but maybe they had something to do with Somer?? Do we even know if that man and woman are known to one another. It's likely but do we know for certain?

I Don't know except SHE is a RSO.......and he looks creepy............

O/T This should make us depressed and sick to our stomach. That is a normal response to this. But it does need to be out in the media more. There is human trafficking going on in the US and everyone wants to think it doesn't happen here and turn a blind eye to it. Very bad things happen when humans are trafficked (understatement I know). Children are turned into sex slaves--their lives are ruined. I'd be willing to bet that this is how a lot of these kids ended up tortured on film. How often do we really hear about this in the media.

Weirdly enough, now the affadavit has been removed from the online article-complaints maybe? Don't know-but as disturbing as it was I agrree with you that the info SHOULD be out there.
Anyway, on to finding Somer's killer. Been praying that LE gets their break soon.

Spires is still at large. I'm game for any info. dug up on him and I'd like to know why the he** he isn't locked up for the rest of his life if he's the worst of the worst and commits acts against children again and again? You would think by now that they would put a rush on any foreign DNA recovered from Somer's body. Aren't all RSO's dna profile in a data base? Here's a link to his flyer:

I have personally believed that the woman, if there is one, might have known what he was planning. She also may have help dispose of items or clean up after the fact.
That's just what I took from it. My interpretation only.

There are severe discrepancies in the timeline, if that is what these dates are. He's got conflicting addresses starting on 2/1/94, to say the least.
