The thirteen year old is her oldest child. In the coverage from Tuesday night before Somer's body was found, they state who the 13 year old lives with, I believe it is a family member, why is never stated.

18. not college. My son just got bumped off due to turning 18 a couple years ago. I am on disability now. If it con't he would of went to college but I can't pay for college.​

Your right my DD dad was killed when she was a baby she drew SSI until she was 18. If they quit school or get married before 18 the SSI also stops.

Yeah that comment was odd. Just out of the blue her deamenor changed to almost despise of the man. I also felt it was very distasteful that he was not put in the obit for Somer not even a mention. I don't care what kind of relationship you have with an ex that is just unacceptable because his children still love him.

BBM, You know you bring up a GREAT point!!! I know there were two boyfriends since she left Sam Thompsom. Cajungirl, did you have those names?? I thought you mentioned them. Seems like mother moves pretty swift and quick from man to man. Hey her choice, but not good enviorment for any child!! Wonder if she burned any of them, lived with any of the others? Anyway, could be possible they taking revenge. Shoot, anything is possible in this case but CWG is still my main man.

Not to mention a few of us have found some other girls that have gone missing we think could be connected. In particular another member found this one and it EEKS me out, CWG would be about 20 at the time - Talk about an anniversay killer - LOOK AT THIS ONE:

Brother's name is in the media, starts with an A. The initial reports were that he didn't live with her, I guess that has now been changed.

I haven't completely cleared the older brother in my own mind, but it's one of those things, he's a minor, we can't dig too far, there's nothing to find even if we did. So, I just leave it at "he's suspicious to me" and then move on. That way it in no way looks like bashing.

His first name starts with an A and he has a different last name...if you look at the crankycrankerson pics( in NOWAY's sig) he is in the memorial pics with his mom

Are we really attacking the parents now? I know that it all about the sleuthing, but I just can't stand it when I hear things like, she cried too much, she didn't cry enough, she smiled too easily, Oh, did you hear her laugh?..............and about her being in the attention of the media, raising money to help get the family through all this hell and sending her other children away..........maybe she just doesn't have the emotional strength to give of herself what her other children need right now, could that be? This is all of course JMO.........

Sorry, I don't mean to offend, but I just get a little upset with the "expectations" that are put on a person while they are going through the most tragic thing that will probably ever happen to them........there's just not a book to tell you how to respond and everyone handles themselves differently when faced with tragedy and grief. I personally have experienced a lot of these same accusations and it just beats you down at a time when you need all the strength you can get.

I have read some of the speculation regarding mom's reaction and whether or not she should keep her children with her or send them away at a time like this-there is no hand book and I think given the media spotlight she is under, it is a practical decision to remove them from it.

I am still missing the links pointing to her as a suspect-help a poster out! TIA....

I don't believe DT had anything to do with this at all.
I think it is a great possible-- that within her cirlce of friends, and her lifestyle that she may have had way too many strangers around the children, none of which she knew were on the darker sides of reality.

I think it is super strange the Sheriff pointed out that the Nissan was located, mentioned people of Hispanic decent, then commented on the INDIVIDUALS involved were located and they don't believe it is connected. Also, said investigators located vehicle and actively investigating it but why not come out and say it was a misunderstanding and it was a concerned LEO. It implies more to the story at that given time. Funny, that it wasn't important enough to find that Nisson before Somer was snatched but they sure looked real hard after the fact. If those individuals were located, they would know off the bat it was a LEO in the blue nissan.

I think the local LE botched that one. And the LE story was a band=aid. Related to somers disappearnce or not, moot point to me. I don't buy the LE story. JMO

Then later with more questions he has an said in light of things yes could have done PSA balh blah, yeah can't monday morning quaterback it. There will be a logical explanation when we can release the info - they are checking out story. Okay, so IF the blue nissan was already located and IF they believe it not related then WHY didn't they just release that during that line of questioning??

Depending on who you ask, there isn't anything about her reactions, lifestyle or attitude that someone doesn't find suspicious.

Except me, I don't consider her mother to be even a remote possibility.
