Are you wondering or asking if AMD is the mother of JH?

You know on AMD F.B. it list Callahan as her home, and a home in Callahan also has been searched in this case I tried to look up her current last name in the county records to see if they have property and could not find under that spelling, also I was curious if I "know of" them. (Not by the FB photo)
Also as a foot note: (little history)
The last name "M" is a very common name in Callahan long history in the town. There are 2-different spellings of the last name and two different families. One family is very wealthy and the other spelling is just common people or not as wealthy more lower blue collar class.
I wasn't sure if that was AMD maiden name or not. But could not find that spelling in county records.

No, I was actually asking if she could look into AMD and see if she could find out more about her since she is there digging up dirt on JH.

Like one of the other posters here, I am 99.9% sure that AMD is JH's mom. I just want to know more about her after reading that weird stuff that Eliza posted. There has got to be more.

Good for you, I would have done the same.

Sure, it's a rag, but that doesn't mean it isn't a true story. It's not like they said she had an alien baby. Stranger things have happened than an (alleged) pedophile trying to "marry" an 8-year-old girl (sadly). Because Lucedale is so close to Meridian, and because (in my opinion) the facebook photo looks just like the woman in the WWN article, I'd start asking locals around Lucedale. I really don't think it sounds that far fetched that they would pick up a true story once in a while. As they say...you can't make this stuff up

I think Eliza hit the nail on the head with that one. Wouldn't shock me at all.

I just hope that she (Jennifer Bauer) will take my request seriously and look into it as I think there is a lot more than what was in that WWN article.

I think Eliza knocked it out of the park by finding that article and at this point it wouldn't shock me to find out that the family may have been involved. It was a family in the Christopher Barrios case so it isn't unlikely in this one either.

So confusing with all the initials, but AMD has people with the last name of Dxxxxx, some of those people have friends with the last name Harrell.

Jarred Mitchell Harrell enjoyed working in child-friendly environments, though he had trouble keeping a job, said Rod and Lisa Buchanan, a Middleburg couple who are friends with Harrell and his family.

Harrell, named Thursday as a person of interest in the Somer Thompson slaying, lost one of those jobs at a Clay County eatery last summer because he had an uncontrollable temper, said a manager at the business.

Corey Secrest, a manager at Beauty and the Beef in Fleming Island, said Harrell worked as a cook for about 2 1/2 months last summer. He said he had a reputation for being a hard worker, but he got fired for "flipping out" on-duty. Secrest said he never witnessed the episodes, but he said the owner told him Harrell's temper cost him his job.

BBM

And as I posted earlier, this restaurant is next to a children's hair salon:

Cookie Cutters

I don't know how many children went into that restaurant where he worked, but the few times I have taken my youngest child to Cookie Cutters, they (CC) were always busy.

Makes me sick to think that this freak was watching children coming and going from Cookie Cutters.

Fla Times-Union article about another ex-stepfather of the POI:

http://jacksonville.com/community/c...ys_harrell_possessed_child_porn_as_a_teenager

Says he married JH's mother when he was 5 yrs old --- and knew about his interest in child *advertiser censored*.

"....Whxxxxx said he was curious what Harxxxx kept in a locked tackle box in his bedroom closet, so one day he took off the hinges and pulled out one of several discs. He loaded the discs onto a computer and found pornographic images of young girls, some no older than 5 or 6. They were the same ages of some of the girls found on the Clay County discs, the arrest warrant said.

Whxxxx said he asked Hxxxx’s mother whether she thought the teen had a problem with *advertiser censored* and she said no. Whxxxxx said he didn’t tell her about his find and put the discs back in the box, assuming it was a passing phase. ..."

I truly feel this is a new tip. They never had this man on their radar.

It looks like they did according to this:

Buchanan and her 46-year-old husband, Rod, said they went with their daughter to turn over the materials to police in August. Those materials were in turn given to the state attorney general’s Cyber Crimes Unit.

Processing was not finished until after Somer’s death, authorities said.

The Buchanans said they spotted Harrell’s vehicle outside his mother’s home a few days after Somer’s body was found and alerted police to their concerns about him. The couple said Harrell’s mother and stepfather moved out of the home about two weeks before Somer’s disappearance.

The couple also said police became extremely interested after learning Harrell had been spending time at his parents’ otherwise vacant home.

It's not as easy as you would think, at least not in this case. The computer was not in the POI's possession at the time it was turned over to investigators. A lot of investigation and forensics would have to take place to assure who put that *advertiser censored* on there (someone could simply plant child *advertiser censored* on a computer and say so-and-so put it there --- that's simply not enough evidence to arrest someone and have charges stick). Anyone who had access to that computer was suspect to having put it on there. Not only did they have to examine the hard drive, they had to get warrants for information from internet providers to see when the computer was logged into the internet. Warrants would have to be sent out to specific websites to see when that IP address visited those sites. If he was receiving these pictures from someone else via email, they would have to trace that email and IP and try to connect to the person distributing it (with possible arrests in a child *advertiser censored* ring).

At the time this computer was taken into custody, I'm sure they were more concerned with who was distributing it than they were with who was receiving it and it probably became a bigger part of their investigation into the computer.

In November investigators gave out a profile of the person that could be involved in Somer's disappearance. I think they were looking at the current POI at this time and trying to freak him out. One of the things they said is that the person might move....if they were playing reverse psychology with this guy, they didn't figure he would move right away after hearing that because he wouldn't want to make himself look suspect. I believe when investigators went quiet and the media coverage started tapering off, the POI got nervous because he didn't know what was going on in the case and he fled to Mississippi.

In the meantime, officials knew where he was and they were just playing a waiting game to get enough evidence back to make the connection. It does take some time to put together a solid case and we know they don't want to mess this investigation up.

This is a great insightful post by a member who works in law enforcement (another post says that). I find it answers questions as to why this guy wasn't arrested earlier - anybody could have put the kiddie *advertiser censored* on his computer and this case needs to be solid. moo

In another post Angleena told us she/he works in law enforcement.

Wow... That's disgusting.

This just keeps getting sicker and sicker and I think we haven't seen the worst of it yet.

JMO, of course.

Wonder if Harrell was ever abused for him to be interested in child *advertiser censored* at such a young age and not regular age girls????

They recently tipped the police that they found out he was living at Gano and his parents had moved out at the time Somer was killed. That's what I heard in the video. All circumstantial evidence though. No witness. Didn't even say who told him etc. Can't hold up in court at all.

go to the people who knew him video. The guy's name is RB. He looks pretty shady to me with his gold chains and his sniffing.

I'm thinking that he probably was abused in some way, but if he wasn't he must have seen or been exposed to something while he was growing up that would make him think it was the norm. Something had to trigger this deviant behavior.

All I know is the guy is one sick puppy and I'm glad that he's locked up.

OMG... I am watching Channel 4's coverage and Jennifer Waugh just said that JH was talked to at one point during this investigation before he was a POI.

Someone please correct me if I heard it wrong.

The aunt is in denial re: her "sweet dough boy" but most family members usually are.

Yeah, I've seen her on the news a few times and she is in serious denial.

The guy had the filth on his computer and he more than likely killed Somer.

How can she defend that? Gross.

Wharton said he asked Harrell’s mother whether she thought the teen had a problem with *advertiser censored* and she said no. Wharton said he didn’t tell her about his find and put the discs back in the box, assuming it was a passing phase.

Even more alarming then his step dad not telling mom what he found, HE PUT THEM BACK IN THE BOX! Pornographic images of children no older then 6? WHAT, something is seriously wrong with that in itself!

I thought that was pretty sick too.

How can you think that possessing something that disgusting is a passing phase?

Finding child *advertiser censored* in a box is much different than finding a copy of Playboy stashed under a mattress. It should have been taken care of at that time, but instead it was allowed to continue.

This is just gross.

I think the same kind of thing happened with Jeffery Dahmer - only instead of *advertiser censored*, it was organs. Amazing what parents overlook!
