Also, anyone else wonder how there was soiled underwear, blood, feces, missing carpet, partially opened soup cans laying around, and the smell of decomp in that apartment but the alarm bells went off for the movers' only AFTER Taylor was reported missing due to mom claiming Taylor was in the bathroom taking a bath but they never actually saw her? In other words, the living conditions/state of that household and the smell of death, knowing a CHILD was living there didnt raise the alarm bells or cause enough concern to make a call before Brianna reported her missing? I guess $300 can buy you a move..... and insurance to not call DCS/the police about a child's deplorable living conditions, unless they happen to be reported missing afterwards. o_O:eek:

To be fair, there is no evidence that the movers saw soiled diapers, feces or blood which could have been confined to a closet that they never entered. It was a police dog that alerted to blood and decomposition where the piece of carpet had been cut out. I doubt the movers smelled decomposition, and if they did it could have been confused with the smell of old food all over the floor.

I am grateful that the movers cared enough to come forward with their evidence of never seeing Taylor during that time line. jmo

"It honestly looked like she had been recently evicted or something because it was not well lived-in if there was a child there," Nicole said. "There was old food all over the floor, underneath the couches. There was trash everywhere."

Woman says she helped missing girl's mother move, never saw child

In this video, the mover said that everything that was to be moved was piled up near the front door. The only exception was a child's bed. (Nothing was moved from closets per this statement).

'We never saw a child' | Neighbors, couple who helped 5-year-old Taylor Williams' mother move from Southside to Brentwood

Old food and trash everywhere is acceptable living conditions for children?

No it isn't acceptable living conditions for a child and I would have reported it to CPS. But the mess was vastly different than seeing feces, blood and smelling decomposition of a body. Unfortunately some people don't see the need to call CPS. I don't think the movers felt that they were paid extra to keep quiet about the mess, but maybe you are right. The neighbor who saw Taylor alone is an example of really missing a red flag.

I'm also glad all parties came forward with their information after Taylor was reported missing; wishing they had all said something sooner or feeling that they had more than good reason to report something sooner doesnt negate that.

Oh my god.
I have been consumed with Evelyn Boswell's threads the past few weeks, so I am just catching up here now. I feel sick reading about what Taylor went through.
B is an absolute monster. How are there so many, walking around, looking normal?

I've followed so many cases involving children. This is probably the worst :'(
Taylor Rose, I wish that somebody, anybody, had said something.
It might have made a difference, and you would be safe from harm.
I'm just sickened and angry...

The mom may have been barricading her in the closet while she was at work not realizing Taylor, according to the neighbor, was wandering outside almost every other day. I suspect that Brianna eventually realized she was venturing outside and decided to get rid of her knowing she wouldn’t be able to continue the farce much longer. I so wish the neighbor would have called CPS or the police. They would have gone to the apartment and seen the living conditions. It’s incredibly disheartening and hopefully valuable lessons have been learned that may save another child. I read that co-workers of two years never knew B had a kid. She never talked about Taylor or showed pics. Her job had several family picnics a year and Brianna would show up without Taylor. I get that some people don’t like to mix work with home life, but that’s just odd. In my opinion, Brianna felt Taylor was a burden and the only thing she cared about was her career. She continued doing extremely well at work while her personal life fell apart. I still don’t get why she took her out of daycare only to leave her home alone. This whole case is so frustrating. Hopefully B will explain everything one day...I doubt it, though.

I don't think this a very fair assessment. Yes, there are certain situations that can predispose a person to certain behaviors, but that is not always the case. As you said, risk factors. They do not pre-determine a person's life. We don't know if she was abused and shouldn't assume she was either. Also, I watched the interview as well and did not think they had shifty eyes, and to say "everyone should have observed" seemed like quite a stretch. To me, they just looked uncomfortable being on camera (as many people are).

I know this is very very different, but I originally came to WS because of the Mollie Tibbets case last summer. Anyone who followed that case will remember how people were convinced a certain pig-farmer was involved with her case because he 'seemed' sketchy and had a bad camera presence. It turned out he had nothing to do in her case at all and people were just pointing fingers at someone who fit the bill of who they thought did... something bad (no one even knew if she was definitely dead at that point). I know you said that this is your opinion, but it just seems kind of harsh considering we know absolutely nothing about her aunt or uncle or why she lived with them.

i agree, people always jump and assume someone who has passed either was some stone cold drug addicted without any statement sayings so. How bout Alicia Ross thread on WS everyone and i mean everyone was dogging the bf out just cause of his demeanor, turns out he was innocent.

everyone doesnt react the same to situations, when i get nervous i giggle.. ill be crucified if god forbid im in a situation like one of these and im innocent.

phew chillay
