Time for some :cupcake:

:praying: The Florida Bar gets it right this time!

It would be sweet if the complaint originated from Lamar Lawson!

I'm thinking it's related to this newly released discovery too. Just my opinion.

I love cake and occasions to celebrate with it. :D  Jose Baez.

If at first you don't succeed ... try, try, try again?

I thought it was funny when at one time Baez said that ALL bar complaints against him had been investigated. Imagine having to say that in public, and he didn't even flinch...:innocent: Most people would be horrified that one complaint had been made.

I believe the statement was "I have been Cleared of All bar complaints"

Does "Cleared" mean he was innocent or was there not enough evidence to prove him guilty???

It just so happens that today I made muffins and cupcakes, then I logged into WS and read this...So I had myself one of those :cupcake:

It would seem Mr.Baez has been, his entire life, limping from one personal embarrassment to another. I would imagine it's a very comfortable state of being for him, the only thing that horrifies JB is that he can't fool all of the people all of the time...with the exception of all those at wesh maybe.

The man doesn't know the meaning of the word humiliation, if you can't feel shame or dishonor one can only end up being a total disgrace to an honorable profession. JMO

Yeah, he was like, well, if this benefits my client, we can work something out. This after he initially said no. And wow, this time, not even a "No Comment"!:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

I wonder if Casey knows her knight in shining armor has TWO bar complaints against him? I wonder what Cindy thinks of him now...

Wow, suns out, the groundhog didn't see his shadow, and bar complaint #2 against Baez. This could not be a better day! :great::great::great:
I hope that the As realize that no one is picking on Baez (their State against them mentality)...these complaints address Baez's ability (or lack thereof) to defend their daughter. The integrity of this case is at stake. I really do hope that this one has been filed by someone who has direct involvement with the case. It would legitimize the complaint IMO (though I don't know whatever happened to JS's).

I wonder if MSM has the FLA Bar on speed dial. If they don't, they should.

If it is KS or BC investigators may have asked them not to file anything until they released their statements in discovery. jmo
Could be...but we also have no idea when this complaint was filed...we know now, but it could have been filed last month...or whenever. Is their a time limit as to how long the Bar has to respond? JB's sour face...quieter than normal...Mason turning away from him...could be for a reason.

WFTV just reported on the 5:00 news that the complaint against JB has to do with misrepresentations to the court. They couldn't confirm who filed it but it was not Brad Conway... wonder if the Judge did. No link on WFTV to that report yet.

Ouch! Mr shaeffer did not mince his words.

Did Kathi B say that Brad Conway did NOT report this?

Wonder who did? :waitasec:

Yes, she said that in her 5:00 news report. I think anyone who had access to the documents we saw in the doc dump last Friday could have done it.

"If this is true, other than stealing or being accused of stealing a client's money, there is no more serious charge that a lawyer can face," Sheaffer said.

Sheaffer, who served as the vice chair of the Florida Bar Association's Grievance Committee says, on a scale of one to 10, as charges go, it's a ten.
The grievance apparently comes from an accusation made by Casey's parents' former attorney, Brad Conway.

Thanks to Muzikman! Brad Conway's interview audio. A MUST listen!!

Conway told Orange County sheriff's investigators four months ago that Baez lied to Chief Judge Belvin Perry about how Conway had seen evidence showing Caylee's body was not in the woods four months before her remains were found, but Conway told them, "I certainly did not see that, wasn't aware of it."

Conway said, at the time, he was thinking, "Bull****, it didn't happen.

Since BC was not the one to file a complaint against JB for misrepresentation to the court, could someone file a bar complaint against BC for not filing the complaint... since it sounds like he should have?

What a mess!

It is my opinion that it was either a regular person, who read through the discovery these past few days, that filed the bar complaint... or it was MN who filed the complaint... or it could have been Judge Perry? Who knows?

What I do understand is that this complaint should not interfere with Casey's trial happening in May. I can't wait until Friday! Isn't that the next status hearing?

Well, whoever it was, I'd like to buy them a drink! :martini:

Hey JB ...

"It’s against the rules of professional conduct. You are an officer of court, and so you’re held to that standard of telling the truth as best you know. If you happen to mistaken that’s one thing, but if you’re intentionally misrepresenting facts to a judge, you’re putting your bar license on the line"
