Cause he sure seems to slip on by with these everytime someone files a claim against him.

I really do not believe he has paid off anyone on the Florida Bar committee that investigates these complaints.

I HAVE to believe that they have just been unable to find sufficient evidence according to the LAW for discipline/disbarment. While it is very evident to us what JB has done and continues to do, proving it is another thing. Just like proving a defendant is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.... sometimes it is obvious they are guilty, but it can't be proven they are guilty.

ETA: Why would anyone on the Bar committee risk THEIR career for the likes of Baez???
 
Well, Kathy Belich is supposedly back to work today after a medical leave so hopefully we'll start getting the real goods on this and on the tampering investigation!

That is my opinion also. Most of the complaints have been one persons word against Jose's word. DC's accusations, whether true or not, could not be proven. Doesn't mean that Jose didn't tell DC to call him before LE... which I believe he did.

Now, depending on who filed this complaint... which could be just a regular citizen who read the documents released last week and felt the need to file a complaint since they felt BC should have... or it could be someone directly involved in this case... we'll just have to see what happens?

It really upsets me though... because if it is someone like BC filing this complaint... why did he wait until 3 months before the trial? It's so unfair to Caylee :banghead:

I read the last one as hadn't found probable cause.

Now this one suits me waaay better!

If it is KS or BC investigators may have asked them not to file anything until they released their statements in discovery. jmo
 
Wasn't there a complaint one way back when which complained about his legal claims on his website about his experience. Claimed to have tried like 34 cases prior to when he was admitted to the bar?

His website had to be redone... seems like it's still not finished.

Yes, I agree!! This one makes it much more clear that they are STILL investigating, so we do not have to speculate about that.

I hate when the news stations only report a portion of comments, as sometimes just a piece can be taken completely out of context! Why don't they just tell us everything they said!!! And don't summarize or piecemeal it for us!

Just don't think BC has the st........, er.. .backbone to file a complaint - his style seems to seek audience + whine + play victim.

Exactly! Whether this new complaint is dismissed or not, JB does seem to be the target of numerous complaints and ... where there is smoke there is fire. He has set an all new standard, an all new low.

I cannot see JB surviving past the ICA trial as an attorney ... it seems like he needs to stay focused on his mission to be a notorious but 'former' attorney who just appears as a talking head on TV.

If the Florida Bar Association complaints were addressed via a vote of its local attorney membership then ... I am confident that JB would quickly get voted off.
 
I thought it was funny when at one time Baez said that ALL bar complaints against him had been investigated. Imagine having to say that in public, and he didn't even flinch...:innocent: Most people would be horrified that one complaint had been made.

Yes, I believe that was 2008 though, technically outside of the 2 year window WESH was reporting.

When JB first took this case, he was not a member in good standing, I can't remember exactly, but I think he was missing CEU hours.

RBBM Nums, I think so too, and the OS article was written in such a way as to indicate the same--they couldn't outright say it, of course they don't "know" officially what prompted the complaint or who filed it, but this paragraph leads the reader to believe it is linked particularly to Conway's interview in the recent doc dump:

"The Orlando Sentinel inquired about the possibility of a new Bar complaint against Baez after reviewing a recently released law enforcement interview with Brad Conway, the former attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, Casey Anthony's parents."
