OK... I give up... I have done everything that you guys have told me... what I wanted to say was not really all that important, but it really bugs me that I can't get this to work...

pasted into photo editer
saved as jpg
uploaded to photo site (actually two different ones... flckr and photobucket)
copied the url
clicked on the little box that says add image
pasted url in box
STILL GET THE WHITE BOX WITH RED X !!!!

Try the instructions I listed here for using imageshack. It works great. And you don't have to have an account there.

I always use for quick posting for images I want to post quickly to share but don't necessarily want to hang onto.

Well, I have NO CLUE why the other photo hosting sites did not work, but your direction did! Yeah! thanks... and sorry for taking this thread to "screen shot lessons 101"
