I hope she is located safely!
If this is the work of the CARD Team then they worked fast!
Child Abduction Response Team did a good job in the Jorelys Rivera case as well.
(only JR was likely deceased before she was even noticed missing :(

Wow that sketch of the suspect is amazing (drawing wise)...kudos to the sketch artist (and of course the person who gave the details)

IF the suspects that were apprehended just now are the two from the home invasion we will know soon.
Emerson, Bartow, Cobb, Acworth, GA State Patrol all involved in locating and stopping the car. It was stopped at the south bound on ramp exit277 off of 1-75 (I think the exit number is correct)
It's my exit I SHOULD know the correct # but I don't

Really odd.....the 2 perps didn't try to disguise themselves. Left 2 witnesses...

High speed chase 1- 75 Hwy 92 Acworth GA two suspects in custody after foot chase.
Unsure if related. Suspects refused to stop on US 41 for routine traffic stop.
THEY were in a green Toyota. .not a silver car.

Police said the burglary this incident is unrelated to the abduction case under investigation in Clayton County.

I am encouraged by the fact that they didnt shoot the mother and brother. If they planned to kill the girl, why not kill her family too?

Looks like the car chase was unrelated to the abduction (darn it!), but to another string of burglries.

This doesn't feel random to me. Makes me wonder where "dad" is.

Kelly is the artist's name. It appears on the other picture as well. It's darker so harder to see.

'Seems, GBI Forensic Artist Marla Lawson, taught her daughter Kelly Lawson, well..

Georgia's first forensic artist set to retire Friday

Give her some pencils and paper, and Marla Lawson will recreate the face of evil.

"This is my most famous sketch. Everybody has seen that sketch," said Lawson, a forensic artist with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.

The sketch is of Eric Rudolph, the Centennial Olympic Park bomber.
___

"I am so happy. I hate to say that because I have had a nice time and I have enjoyed it but it's time to go," said Lawson.

Friday is her last day, but the GBI won't be without a Lawson for long. Kelly Lawson, who is Marla Lawson's daughter, will be taking over for the legend.

"It does put a lot of pressure on me, but I'm ready to take on the challenge and excited about it," said Kelly Lawson.

"She's real smart. She's a lot smarter than I am and she is a lot more capable," Marla Lawson said.

I believe there are 3 different events: the abduction (this case); a buglery in Henry Co. (not far from this case); and the other chase near Acworth is different.

The story this article discusses is in Henry County, south of Atlanta. Acworth is north of Atlanta. These are two separate car chase incidents.

:Welcome1:

Yes, JustyThoughts.. I watched the noon news, and there was also a burglary suspect that tried to run over a Dekalb Co policeman with his vehicle..

Prolly not a good day to attempt a burglary in the Atlanta area with all the resources and the BOLO awareness, etc..

I was responding to the OP that posted that exact link. THAT chase had nothing to do with the kidnapping.

No report on the other.
